Custom Made................

Hello my lovelies bit of a quickie as I'm in the middle of cooking chillie Con Carne.

I decided to have another go at one of these less is more kinda cards.........I know I always usually failed but I've tried to do a male card this time as I have had this stamp for ages & long time & its about time it got inked..............

This is a wood block stamp.......I do tend to neglect these they sit on my shelves crying!! Its by Stamps Happen & you can get it here. I did it in the same colours as I love the red!!

I love this stamp I think its brill for those male cards.........actually I think its brill for anyone who loves cars.

I layered the image onto a piece of grey card & a piece of red card & glued it to this 6x6 On The Edge card which I got from Crafty Emma's Store as also the card candy which I made to look like screws lol.

Well thats it I'm off to link up then dish tea out.

Will be round to you all later as I'm behind on visiting as a migraine kept me off lappy nearly all day :0(

Kenny K DT Card...........Layers

Howdi doodie my lovelies I am running rather late this morn as my internet went down this morn & only just come back on. A friend rang half an hour ago cus hers was down & she is with the same provider as me lol.

Anyway me  is here now so I will crack the whip....

Of course its Sunday, the day of relaxation & also the day of Kenny K Krafty Girlz Challenges

This week it is the girlies off Team A to set the theme & it is 1 I sooooo enjoyed as I love doing this...

Crafty Ribbons

For my card today I have used the latest fantastic release of Steampunk images from Kenny k, my favourite set yet & set 2 of this collection is due beginning of September so watch this space my lovelies...........oooh I cant wait!!

This is 'Lady Victoria' I had to use her she is my fave....yeah ok cus she also has the same name as me...I'm thinking hubby would probably like me in the outfit lol...

The chain thingy & sentiment charm thing are Tim Holtz.........I'm good at naming things arnt I .........lol.

Used gorgeous cream lace & a length of beautiful deep red velvet ribbon.

The paper clip is Tim Holtz & the flower I made myself with scrunched paper & tulle & distressed it with inks to make it look aged........

Isnt she beautiful.... I have coloured her with copics. The image she is stood on is a digi image but I cant remember the company.....I lightened it in my arty thing on lappy & then when printed it got a good beating with Vintage Photo & a bit of Walnut distress inks. I then give it a few coats of UTEE & cracked it....all to make it look old.....

I added to cogs from hubsters watch again lol....1 in the corner of the image & 1 in the top left corner of the card & added a gem to the centre.

The paper I used for this card is Bunny Bo 'Timepiece' which I think is perfect for this sort of card.

All A4 card used is from my stash.

Ahoy me mateys how ye all doin??? You should see me trying to twist my mouth to the side speaking this I sound more like Popeye than a mean pirate lol.

Thank you for the comments on my previous post you know when an idea pops in your head & you just think why not...........lol. Its done its job tho if its help to make to smile its my way of giving you all a hug & a smile to cheer you up if you need it.....

Now when I saw this challenge I saw myself making a super fun card however.........last night at 8pm I still hadnt done it I was running mega late........where do all these hours go???? So my super card didnt turn out so super but I do love the image lol.

Isnt he so cute.........ermmmm I mean 'Ye gonna walk the plank!!' oh yeah he's a mean pirate.......& dont get me started about the parrot...........

This little fella is from Pollycraft I warned you about the addiction right lol......this is from the

Swings & Slides 'Enchant & Explore' set & you get 4 cuties.....bargain eh!!

I thought I should get more boys cards made arn't I good girl lol.........

Echo Park 'Apothecary'......love the colours in this pack.

Black & white gingham ribbon

Black ribbon is actually this but I turned it over lol.

Flags down the sides of the image I used my WOJ Pennant die.

Black card & pirate buttons are from my stash & the sentiment I made with my Omega label maker put it on some card & cut it into a flag shape & drew on faux stitches using a white gel pen. Image was coloured with Copics.

Hi my lovelies how are you all? Its been one fo those busy days today, actually its been a busy week I've managed to make all my DT cards........just lol.

I did blog hop this morning but I'm still a wee bit behind on some blogs so if I havnt been to you I will get to you in the morn.......we plan on a lazy weekend lol.........well I'm hoping lol.

This morning I had my washing to do............hard work!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I had some gardening to do...................

Then the boys had football try outs...........

............which went REALLY well!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ben was really hungry.....well we all were..................

Crafty Purple Frog Challenges DT Card..........

Hello my lovlies running really late today, 1 of those very busy days so will just get on.

We have a new challenge over at Crafty Purple Frog this fortnight which is....

RED HOT!!!

I have used the perfect 'Red Hearts' pyramage but only used the base layer, you can use these images in a variety of ways so they are perfect for those quick makes too.

I found these blank pillow boxes in my alterables box that I brought ages ago & still not opened the packet.....see I'm like that with everything not just stamps lol. These are fab for those quick makes. Now I cant remember where I got mine from but the company I buy my kraft card & other card from sells them so here is the link, this company is fab & you should check it out.

I decorated it in Prima A4 paper, tied some satin ribbon around, gems & a flower & of course the image.

I decided not to fold over the top & instead cut the other oval out & tie some ribbon through.

Perfect little gift box........which takes no time at all..........

The Ching Chou-Kuik image of course is only available from the Crafty Purple Frog store.

Crafts & Me DT Card............Blue's/Blue's & Greens

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Lurrrrvvvvly & sunny here by the sea this morning at least I have my washing out this morning....
Well today is the new challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges & this week its the Rockin' Rubbah Girlz to challenge you & our lovely Angela has chosen the theme which isssssssssss.....
BLUE'S/BLUE'S & GREENS
Yep you know I love blue's so this was easy peezy for me lol............
Now I know I'm on the Rockin' Rubbah's I dropped a clanger & used a digi image, my bad!!

My excuse is I already has this beauty coloured up & she was perfect for this challenge as she was in the right colours..........lol

This one is to try show you the sparkle & bling lol. I added glossy accents to the moon & then covered it with glass glitter & then went around the edge with Picket Fence stickles. I also added stickles to the blue rose. The crochet flower I made.........I was trying different styles last week with my crochet.

The white corner was a gold metal corner but I splodged some white acrylic on it as its really rare I use gold & I've had these forever....... The sentiment is again a Whimsy ticket stamp & cut out using the ticket die.

The jute, fabric, buttons & gems are from my stash which I've had forever & long time lol.

The image is 'Violet' by the fabulous Hannah Lynn, yep my fave artist as you know & of course she is exclusive to Crafts & Me Store.

The papers are a mix of Prima & Websters Pages, they have had their edges duffed & inked & then splodged with a bit of white acrylic..........these are tough papers so they can handle the beating they got from me........its a tough job but someone's gotta do it lol.

Gorjuss Girls...........

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Time has seemed to run away from me today, some-one really is stealing my hours!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Megan had her baby scan today to find out if babba is a boy or a girl...........a pink one or a blue one...

Welllllllllll would you like to know what she is having?????????????

Yeah so would we lol.........baby kept his legs shut tight so they couldnt see what it was lol. I never knew over mine what I was having, well I didnt want know & over the last one I had the same prob Jake kept his legs shut lol......... So its the old fashioned way whhich if I'm honest I quite like, it adds to the excitement dont you think?

Anyway I'm finally here with a card for The Sugarbowl challenge which the lovely Maria has designed a fab sketch for, I love sketches but rarely use them......silly really arn't I......ok dont answer that!! lol

Arn't these GORJUSS.....yeah yeah corny I know he hee. These are of course Sugar Nellie's gorjuss girls which is an earlier range of stamps, I masked them both together a bit ago & then today finally coloured them. The one standing up is 'Just A Girl' which I got from Funky Kits. The on 'Sitting' down I also got from Funky Kits but I cant seem to find it anymore but they have been locked away in my stash for a long time.

Sentiment is from the fabulous Whimsy postage stamp range & cut out using the postage die.....I love these sentiments!!!!!!! They are from Bunny Zoe's.

Card is made using A4 card & a large die throught the Grand Calibur. Kraft card is from my stash & the bottom paper is from a Whiff Of Joy pad & the top one is from a Bunny Bo pad. Faux stitching all around the edge with my Martha Stewart multi pokey tool thingy & a silver gel pen.....lol

Flowers & card candy are from Crafty Emma's Store.

Well thats it I better get going I have DT work to do then will be doing lots of blog-hopping to catch up with you all.

A quickie card & a new family member.......come see

Hello all my lovely jubbly peeps. Havnt really done any crafting this weekend except a quick card last for my son today Megan wanted to give him a card to mark their anniversary of when they met...Awwww. So I scoured & found some fabbylicious images.............I will show you that in a mo.

Yesterday afternoon some friends came for a few hours which was fantastic. We have been friends for about 14 years only we dont see them as much now cus they had to move further away due to work commitments. We had such a laugh that I wished I had gone the shop first for some Tenna Lady he heeee.

Anyway I will show you the quickie card I made. My son's nickname is 'Cookie Monster' which will explain the card..............

This is 'Fluffy' aka ?Cookie Monster lol......available from Pollycraft of course I had to colour him blue lol. Actually I've never coloured a fluffy monster before.......but as they say you can only get better lol.

You dont want to know how many more images I brought from there yesterday lol.

Lush paper is Echo Park. The ribbon is just plain white grosgrain which I coloured with a promarker, yeah borrowed it off hubster cus didnt want to waste the ink in my copic lol. The bunting & tag is from my Whimsy die which I got from Bunny Zoe's & the tag stamp is the same & I wrote 'You & Me' on.

The stitching I did by hand with Anchor cross-stitch thread.......bout time I used it its been neglected for sooooo long lol. The 2 glass pebbles are decoration on my shelf in the living room & I pinched 2 to enter the recycle challenge at Pollycraft again lol. 6x6 scalloped card is from Crafty Emma's which is also where you can get the Echo Park paper.

Now I did mean to post this this afternoon but we went to Sunderland to collect the new member of our family. Now these are my favourite EVER animal, I used to have one years ago but sadly she died.....darn that old age!!!!

Meet 'Bailey'

He is a red & white Boxer & is 15 weeks old..............isnt he just gorgeous. Let me tell you for those that dont know no matter what dog breeder you speak to if you ask what is the best dog to have with children they will all say 'Boxer' cus they really are fantastic, Natalie loves these dogs & I really miss the one we had so hubster brought me this little fella today.............

Well he is not really little lol............ He loves the camera & decided after a few shots he would like to show off lol..............

That coat is just so shiny & so soft I just want to stroke him all the time lol.

Well this is the newest member of our family & now I'm off to bed as I've got to be up early to take Ben to work cus he needs a new brake switch for his car, the brakes work but he's not getting a brake light on so better not risk getting pulled & getting a fine & 3 points on his licence.
