Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone Im away in the caravan this week so Im hoping my posts go live. Although I did have to come back home to schedule this post as things have not started smoothly & to say our first day/night was hectic & a wee bit stressful but never mind.

Anyway this fortnight we have a brand new challenge over at Deep Ocean Challenge Blog & its a fabby one....
INSPIRED BY A SONG or MOVIE.
,,,,,,how fab is that. You must tell us your song or movie that has inspired you.
Ok so my song is Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer & this card is made especially for my daughter Natalie.....Ive just gotta put a daughter sentiment on it.

I have used one of my new stamps from the latest Magnolia collection. The papers are Maja Design A Gift For You & I have used 12x12 sheets, inked the edges & distressed slightly & then mahcine sewn all around the edges.
The shape was made with a Go-Kreate die.

I added a Rusty Heart with a bow from seam binding from my stash & some bling in the centre. The trees & reindeers are from Marianne Design dies.....

This fabulous stamp is one of my favourites from the new collection & its called Tilda With Little Rudolph & she is from the Aspen Holiday collection over at Noor Design UK. I stamped an older Love stamp from Magnolia behind her as this card is all about our love for our daughter.
I also added Snowtex all under her feet & shabby white frantage around her for a snowy effect.
The shape was cut out using Little Darling Fancy Rectangle die.
Tilda was stamped onto Fabriano (best watercolour paper there is ) & coloured with distress ink refills.

I have added corrugated cardboard behind the image which got covered in gesso.
Flowers are from Noor Design UK as are pomegranated apples......love these things.
The leaves are Tim Holtz Holiday Greens dies.

As always I have decorated inside to compliment the front. The fence dies came with Magnolia Cosy Fox & Fence stamp & die form Noor Design UK. I also cut out numbers 25 out of corrugated cardboard. Everywhere also got the gesso treatment to add to the wintery snowy effect lol.

Please pop on over to see my fabulous teamies creations & we hope you will join us this fortnight, we cannot wait to see your ctreations.

Thanks for stopping by, tatty bye.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
