Hello my lovelies how are you all? I hope you are all having this beautiful sunshine that us here in the north east are getting its been so beautiful. I even sat out for an hour in the garden today with payton on a blanket, she just sat there watching the dogs run around the lawn giggling.
Anyway I'm running late yet again this week has just been manic!! We have a new challenge over at Saturated Canary this week & its so easy....
BOOKMARKS
.......I dont use one as I have a Kobo Touch....which I so love so I'm giving this to my step-mum.
Now cus of how hectic it is for me at the mo I made a super-easy & super-quick bookmark.....
It actually took me longer to colour the image than to make the entire book mark.
The red books belonged to my nan, she loved Agatha Christie & had the whole collection which she left to me when she passed away. My fave was Sparkling Cyanide, I read that one over & over as a kid lol. The top book is a handmade book Craig brought when he was out 1 day about 4 years ago.
The image is 'Olympics' & I cropped her & cut her in an oval shape except the top of her head lol. She was of course coloured with Copics.

I added a flower where there should be a medal.
You have the image for the front of the book & then this bit goes to what-ever page you are on.
I cropped the image again & lightened her then I added this sentiment over the top of the image from Wee Stamps last year I think it was
I'm actually a wee bit gutted I dont read normal books lol.......
Image of course you can get here at Krista's new fabulous shop which have a few new images, if you havnt been over there yet then where have you been peeps?????
Everything used is from my stash.
The pearl heart you can get from My Crafty Heart in lots of different colours.
Why not pop on over to the challenge blog & look at the girls fab creations. Us girls dont see each others creations til they have been posted as we each email them to Krista so no-one knows what anyone is doing. WellI've just been over & seen that the lovely Bev has made the same style as me.....great minds think alike thats all I have to say lol.

Hi Vicky - I love your bookmark, such a good idea to do it that style. Love the image too, and I love the way you added the image with the sentiment stamped over top.
BTW - I used this tutorial for making the ribbon bracelets I've made here (I hope the link works, but if not I did put it on my blog around Easter time when I first made one of the bracelets!)
