Mr & Mrs Together Forever

Hello everyone how are you all?

The plan today was get the front garden done, scarify the lawn, remove flowers & weed etc but its wet & very miserable :-( Perfect day to stay inside & get work done then ;-)

So I have a card today that I made quite a few weeks ago. When I showed my last LOTV card with a simply print I did say the next one would be a stamped image.......here it is, or one of them as I have a another done lol.

This time I thought I would make a Wedding card or it could even suit as an Anniversary card maybe.

Sorry for the pics again we've packed the big computer up to move to another room & the software to use with the camera is on there & not my lappy.........so I'm still using my phone :-(

I love these love birds, they are so darn cute.........shame it took me so long to use them lol. They are from Magnolia Doo-Hickey Volume 3.

The flowers are WOC & you can also see a doily peeking out too.

I added Mr & Mrs Scrapiniec to the corner & under the flowers I added the Eiffel Tower also from Volume 3. 

Flowers again are WOC & the leaves are Magnolia Parsley & Rocket Salad.

The fabulous cute image is a LOTV stamp called 'Wedding Couple' & I coloured it with distress ink refills.

I cut the image out using Gummiapan 'Nesting Stitched Circles' & matted it onto larger sizes underneath including a circle of Maja Design.

I also added a couple of pearl hearts as added love ;-)

I cut 2 hearts using a Magnolia die, I cut 1 in white cardstock & 1 in co-ordinating Maja Design paper, I added Tim Holtz words to the white cardstock & added a brad.

So when you swing the patterned heart out it reads 'Together Forever', kinda like a hidden message.

As always inside is decorated to match the front. Paper I've used is a Maja Design collection which is probably my favourite one, I won September Mood Board & I also won this set......so I have lots more now lol.

It is of course 'Summertime' 12x12 & I used a Go-Kreate die for the card. As always the papers have been machine stitched.

The lace is from my stash as are the doilies.

Hello everyone how are you all?

Well didnt we have a miserable weekend, well we did up here in the North East yuk!! Still the gardens got a good watering o it saved me getting the hose pipe out lol. 

I'm here tonight with my DT card for Deep Ocean Challenges & the theme this fortnight is........

A DAY AT THE BEACH

...........so easy this time of year, although I love the sea all year round & am so lucky I live 5 minutes away from it, walking that is. 

I struggled to what papers I wanted use.......I know I wanted to use Maja Design but which collection, which sheets?? Oh the torture of my life lol.....in the end I had to choose Summertime which is one of my favourite collections.......I love everything about this collection & every single sheet is soooooo drool worthy.....not to mention good for stroking & smelling.......yes come on you know when you have good quality paper when it has a good smell ;-)

Of course I decorated inside to compliment the front as always but I've added another small picture inside to match the front.

All papers have been distressed a little & machine sewn as always.

Lace is from my stash as is the bakers twine.

I cut out a star with a stitched star die & then added a tag on top which is from Magnolia Doohickey volume 1 which I was so lucky to find on Ebay from the lovely Donna & then I found someone selling Volume 3 in the same week........it was a gooooood week lol.

All die cuts have been cut from 12x12 sheets.

The leaves & the Sea-Horses are also form the Doohickey kit. I've added sea shells, bark star & gesso here & there. There is also cheesecloth & corrugated card covered with gesso under the main image.

The main image came from 'By The Sea Die-Cuts' I've also used the 6x6 pad for the card itself & for the die-cuts I've used 'Having Fun' both sides, 'Glittering Water' was also used.

Shabby Chic Penguin

Hello everyone how are you all?

I'm here today with my DT post for Noor Design UK & this week I have something a little different.

Tracy sent me the Dutch Doobadoo Penguin Card Art template, so I decided to see if I could make a shabby chic penguin ;-)

I have to say I had quite a bit of fun making this lol. I was going to add something else but time ran out for me as I had to get it done before we went away yesterday....yes I'm hoping this has published!!

Have you seen the wee iddy biddy penguins.......its like they are the babies lol.

I cut them out with the die (links bottom of post) then added Pumice Stone ink whilst they were still in the dies. They were cut out using the same Maja Design paper as the penguin' hat....just the reverse side.

Speaking of the hat,how darn cute is that. I cut it out using Maja Design Summertime paper, both sides were used & I added pearl trim to the bottom &lace &a charm to the bobble part.

The nose was cut out using Pion Design Witching Hour, I moulded it a bit so it was flat against the face. I just glued one edge on so it was sticking out.

I was going to make a Penguin shaped card but instead made a box.......should put Penguin choccy biscuits in but didnt have any in unfortunately lol.

I added Snowflake buttons & seam binding for a scarf with a bit of added lace & of course a bit of bling. I distressed the paperto go with the whole shabby chic feel.

I quite like my penguin, think I will be making a few of these for the grandkids.....they will love em!!

Tracy has added lots & LOTS of new items to her store so why not pop on over to take a peek at everything.

Magnolia & Dreamerland Crafts

Hello everyone how are you all?

Hope all you mums in the UK had a lovely Mother's Day, I hada lovely one.

I'm here today with 2 cards for Noor Design UK, the first one uses Dutch Doobadoo Card Art & a Magnolia stamp & the 2nd card is using one of the yummy Dreamerland Crafts stamps.

First here is a card made using the Dutch Doobadoo A4 Kitchen Aid card art using Maja Design papers.

I used 2 different sheets of Maja Design papers from the Summertime collection, I added a different pattern to the bowl.....a shabby chic Kitchen Aid in my favourite colours for a kitchen.

Of course the Recipe Collection from Magnolia was perfect for this & not forgetting the Joy Crafts Strawberry die.

I added lots of pearls on this & of course it had to still have the flower treatment.

I also added a wooden rolling pin & a Kitchen Aid charm.

The fabulous stamp is called 'Made With Love Tilda' & again she was stmaped onto Fabriano & coloured with distress ink refills.

Here is the cardmade using one of the new Dreamerland Crafts stamps, these stamps are due any day now over at Noor Design UK. This beauty is called 'Enjoying The Breeze' & I stamped her onto Fabriano & coloured her with distress ink refills.The apples in her basket I coloured red & green, I also added pearl dots around her using a pearl pen.

These are fabulous to colour up I enjoyed colouring these soooooo much. There is not one stamp I dont like......they all have such an innocence about them & are so adorable!!

I've used Scrapiniec Leaves & some WOC flowers, the centre flower I made with Foamiran. I also added a bow made with Organza & heat shriveled to add to the shabby look.

This card is made for someone who wants 2 cards the same as my last Dreamerland Crafts card here but as I make no 2 cards the same as I like each & every card to be one of a kind.

So I used a different shape, a different stamp, paper etc. The things I kept the same was the tag with the LOTV Birthday Recipe on & I still added a bow with bling, only this time the bow was also made with oragnza ribbon & the other with seam binding I dyed myself.

I also used my favourite lace on this one & a piece of scrapiniec with a clay heart.
