La La Land Crafts DT Project - Baby Gift Bag

Hello everyone, (she says waving like a loon)

Ok so its Fridays & that means 2 things.........1st its nearly the weekend....she sings merrily lol.

Secondly its time for my La La Land Crafts Project & this week the challenge is.......

ALL SHAPES & SIZES

......so I made a gift bag, a baby gift bag :-) I lurve making baby things.....I can do cute, I can do foofy & I can try to stretch my imagination a wee bit......

Can you guess what papers I used........yes of course I used Maja Design Vintage Baby......these are my absolute favourite baby papers...EVER!! The sentiment in the centre & in the bottom corner are also from the collection.

This is the reverse of the bag.........yeah even bags I cannot only decorate one side lol. I've added in a card to write baby's name, date, weight.....that kind of thing. This is totally removable so the recipient could keep this bit in a baby album or something if they wanted to.

How fabulous is that Stork die, its one of my favourite LLLC dies!! The tags are my favourite LLLC dies.......I think lol........well I love them all!!

Ok so this is where I stretched my imagination a bit! With the LLLC Rattle die I made a real rattle & its removable as its just tied on with seam binding available from Noor Design UK.

I cut it out lots of times to give it strength, added a baby girl to the inside, cut out with a Stitched Nested circle die from the same paper collection & then added eyelets to the handle to thread some seam binding through.

I added pink flat backed string pearl all around the edge which gives it even more strength.

I have to say I soooooo love this & I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.

It can simply be tied & untied to the handles at the top. I added just a small flower display & added a plastic dummy in from my stash. Of course I had to add the Rocking Horse.......another of my favourite dies.......I do love LLLC's baby dies!!

La La Land Crafts - Kraft

Hello everyone.........wooooo hooooo its Friday....yay the weekend is here. Do you have any plans or is it your last weekend to snuggle those kiddies before they go back school.

I'm away for the weekend in the caravans with the whole family.....we have probably left by the time you are reading this.......

Ok the other fab reason its friday is its La La day ;-) Yep I get to show you my creation for La La Land Crafts & this week our theme was to use Kraft.....

I made a pretty in pink card for this pretty lady.......though she would suit all colours dont you think...

I used 'Summer Fun Marci' & coloured her with Copics.....yeah still trying get back in the swing of them, getting there slowly.

I love her hair bunches, reminds me of my grand-daughter Payton when she has her hair like this :-)

The frame Marci is in in the remnant of a Scrapiniec chipboard & I used it as a frame......waste nothing lol. I also popped a Happy Summer sentiment from Maja Design Summertime Die-Cuts in the corner.

The pretty paper is Studio Light No.17 6x6 pad & I machine stitched all layers. The pen nib in the centre of the butterfly is from Noor Design UK, also the flowers & pomegrantae apples are & the Gessso. The lace & blingy button I think were from Live & Love Crafts.

Blue and White at La La Land Crafts

Hello everyone I'm here today with my DT card for La La Land Crafts & this week us ladies were set the theme of Blue & White.

I decided use another one of the fabulous new release Christmas images as I lurve Blue & White crimbo cards....

So here is Marci.........

Now there is something different about this card on the first & last photo.....see if you can spot it ;-)

I have used my favourite dies, the 3 christmas trees & North Pole.........just lurve these!!

The sentiment Marci is standing next to are Life Cards from Authentique, they are fab. Of course I machine stitched around mine & thought it would be perfect use as a focal point with Marci.

The papers I've used are First Edition 'Silent Night' 8x8, I saw them last week & ordered them from Amazon on Prime so were here the next day. As I wasn't crafting properly last christmas I didnt get them.......I didnt get anything. It WILL NOT be the case this year lol.

The silver chrsitmas tree Marci is standing next to I fussy cut around one side of the paper so the tree stood out a bit more & wasn't hidden by Marci.

So did you see the difference?? Well I couldnt decide if the Bark Star in the first photo looked right on the card, so I didnt glue it in & took pics with & without....what do ya think??

That's it from me, I'm off looking for new bedding & wallpaper today for my bedroom, it got done last summer or just after & I let hubby pick the colour........to say I hate it is an understatement lol. He chose blue.....I hate blue in the home, yet its one of my faves in crafting....strange isn't it lol.
