Noor Design UK - Anchor's Away

Hello everyone how are you all?
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, we had a really nice one, out with all the family & both the family dogs on Saturday & then spent the day with family again on Sunday & had a BBQ at mine, love weekends.

Ok less babbling & lets show you what I've made with products from Noor Design UK. Today I have a more male inspired card for you.........yep less foofiness lol. I sometimes find male cards hard but I do think Pion Design make male cards easier with their gorgeous papers.
I love this collection.....ok I love most of Pion's collection lol. This collection is 'Legends Of The Sea' but the 'Happy Birthday' tag is from the Mr Tom's Treasure's Collection.
All links are below to take you to the products I've used

For the centre I used an 'Anchor' image from Images From The Past & added foam pads underneath to raise it up. Under that I cut out a rectangle using a Fantasy Die from the same sheet I used for the card which is 'Aye Aye Captain' & raised that too to give it all dimension.

The boat at the bottom I fussy cut from the Aye Aye Captain sheet & popped it onto foam pads & underneath I cut out seaweed from Foamiran.
The Anchor, Lighthouse & Seagull are cut from Joy Crafts dies.

The tag I cut from Pion Mr Tom's Treasures 'Mr Tom's Memory's Notes'. I punched a hole through it, added an eyelet & then a keyring from my stash hooked onto a Tim Holtz Clip.

I cut the corner from a Joy Crafts corner die. I also added bubbles here & there using Structure Paste & a mask art stencil that Tracy can order in if you would like it.
Seaweed is cut with a Magnolia die.

Thats it from me, thank you so much for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
P.S. Sorry about pics I've still not set up an area for my light tent & lights so this is took on my bench with just my big lights on & luckily we fitted LED lights under the units on the wall so they shine out so much extra liught, they are fab & a fab price too...... ;-)

The products used can be ordered in the Noor! Design U.K. webshop:

Noor Design UK Challenge

Hello everyone how are you all?

Its the 1st June so its time for a new challenge over at Noor Design UK & this month the theme is........

SUMMER

.......super easy & in the UK we are even getting the right weather for a change.
Now when I think of summer I think BBQ's & Ice Cream..........so I decided go for one of the those.....I decided the 2nd one as then I could use my new stamp from Noor Design UK.
I will put a list to everything used form Noor Design UK at the bottom of this post.
I used a Go-Kreate for the shape.

I added a couple of things you use in the summer, filmstrip as we use our camera's more in the summer & this umbrella........actually I'm thinking of it as a parasol as we use our parasol's in summer........everyday the sun is out out comes my parasol & it goes on the table outside so I can sit under it have a nice cuppa ;-)

The Magnolia stamp is one of the latest ones........though I've got the new ones on order & cannot wait for those come.........so excited!!
Anyway this is Gelato Tilda & I merged her with a stamp I brought from a lovely bloggy friend who keeps her stamps perfect..........suits me to a tee as I'm particular & fussy with my stamps lol.
Anyway the stamp I merged her with is from The Sea Breeze collection & is called 'Time For Ice Cream'..... I coloured it all with distress inks.

The tag was cut from a Craft & You 12x12 sheet & I added a sentiment from an old Whiff Of Joy stamp set & cut it out using a Little Darlings die & adhered it to the tag.

Here are the items with links of products from Noor Design UK.

Magnolia Bride Bow Doo-hickey

Thats it from me, hope you will join us in our Summer Challenge.

Noor Design UK DT Cards

Hello everyone hope you all had a fabulous weekend. To all those in the UK hope you enjoyed your long weekend.
I'm here today with my post for Noor Design UK & I'm here with another shabby chic kind of card.....not so much shabby though lol. This time pink.
I've also tried out another new flower die on the foamiran..........OMWord I love it.....
I've also used a new paper pad that is new to Noor Design UK, all links to items used are at the bottom of the post.
The pad is Craft & You 'Bird Song' which is so pretty, so soft & full of pinks, blues & greens....all soft & pastel. Of course I machine stitched around the edges as always.

The flowers I made myself from a new die by Whimsy Stamps & this die set was designed by our lovely crafty buddy Bev Rochester. Its fab, honestly its gonna be my favourite Foamiran die & so so easy. You can either have your Peony Roses closed in or I like mine with the leaves spaced out...
I used pink & white foamiran for the flowers & used Pentel oil pastels to add colour.....
The leaves I used green & then added colour again with the same oil pastels.....leaves are not one colour. I used pink & white stamens in the centre.
You really should try out these dies they are awesome!!!
I used all 3 sizes on my flowers & did big, medium & small peony flowers. I also used the leaf die that came with it.
What is also fabulous is they make a wee little hole in the centre of each flower to put your stamens through.......I didnt think this would make much difference but seriously soooooo much easier.

I've been digging through my Scrapiniec & added bits of that, the bird is form my stash. I also cut a piece of lace off & scrunched it up to make another flower at the top next to the larger peony flower.
The Antique Bronze Leaf Swirl peeking out form the bottom flowers I gave the ivory frantage treatment to soften the bronze but I wiped some off before heating it so I still had some bronze peeking through.

Well thats it from me, thank you so much for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone here today with another DT card, running a bit late might I add.

Now with this one I cheated as I knew I still had cards that I've not shown on this blog yet & because I was ill I didnt have chance to make one.......so thankfully this one fits the theme.
Ok so the new challenge over at Deep Ocean Challenges this month is.......

SPRING
.......so super easy, bring on the sunshine ;-)

I made this I think back in January for an order & my instructions were just 2 things, Vintage & Yellow.......eeeekkkkk yellow was the scary part lol. However I like to make whatever people ask for..........so here it is
Yep since making this card I have made a few yellow themed creations......yellow is actually my new friend now....no fear here lol.

Of course yellow is easy when you have pretty paper like this from Pion Design The Songbird's Secret. I decorated inside as always but decorated both sides....somwtimes I just do 1 side. I added somewhere to write but took photo's before it was added.

I added this little verse also from the same Pion Design collection. As always all papers were machine stitched & the edging ws done with a MS punch.

I added Lace Grace across the centre & also 2 cream laces along the top & bottom, these were from my stash.
I made a cabochon using one of the motiffs from Pion. The charms underneath are from my stash as is the seam binding.

The chipboard bird is from Wycinanka.

Both tags are removable & both are cut from the Pion Design A Singbird's Secret collection, & on the smaller one I also added a Happy Birthday sentiment also cut from this collection.
The image is from the Image's From The Past sheet & I layered it up onto a Joy Crafts frame die.
I also added WOC flowers & the leaves were cut out with a Rosy Owl die & bent into shape.

Please pop on over to see my fabulous teamies creations & hope you will join us in our Spring themed challenge.

Thanks for stopping by
Huge hugs Vicky xxx

Noor Design UK DT Card - For A Friend

Hello everyone, hope you all had a fabulous Easter & lots of yummy choccy. We are all eating healthy so we had no choccy....although my eldest brought some eggs from Holland & Barret....we shall not discuss the taste of those lol.

I've also been quite ill with suspected Pancreatitus so havn't really been online or done any crafting :-( Thank goodness I had this card made in advance, although I hadnt put the flowers on....so no handmade flowers this week :-(

Ok so today I have made a card for a dear friend who is going through a lot at the moment & I want her to know I'm thinking of her & am there for her.
So I have used the new papers from Pion Design's latest release & these are so pretty.

I have also used the new range of Scrapiniec recently added to the store......love this one sooooo much & perfect for saying something special.

I have of course deocrated inside but this time top & bottom, I did allow an extra bit of depth when folding though to allow for all the added bits.....so no crocodile effect ;-)

Using a new die also recently added to the store, I cut it out & then cut out the centre & stamped a sentiment on it from Stempelglede & then using the corner dies that come with it added the larger corners to 2 outer corners.
I also added pearls all around the sentiment.
On the bottom I added a feature using the remains of what I had cut from the front using the Crealies die.......
I also added an image from the same paper collection & the same pretty lace that is on the front.
I matted it onto a rectangle cut form a Fantasy die & added 2 smaller corners from the new die that was used for the above.

This is what the whole of the inside looks like complete with tags to write on.

I wanted to keep this card sort of simple, not fully overloaded but pretty at the same time.....
I added a Fantasy die along the top just under the top layer.
I kept flowers to a minumum (cus I've sent her a big bouquet of real flowers) & added small pearls to the Scrapiniec chipboard in random places.
The sentiment on the front is from the same sheet as the image inside.

Thats it from me, hope you have liked what I've shown this week, its nice to tell people in our lives how much we think of them & how much they mean to us.
A handmade card or gift is perfect for that.

Thanks for stopping by.
Big hugs to you all
