To You From Me

Well hello there everyone, hope you are all having a fabberooney weekend. Here is a lovely sunny day which compared to yesterday is great lol.

I'm popping on quickly to catch up with some cards I've had made a while & still not posted. Then I'm at my eldest sons for the day & my lovely DIL is cooking tea for us all. Weekend is family time for those that know me.

Anyhoo I made this card a couple of weeks ago & its for a show that Tracy over at Noor Design UK wll be next at.....I've made a few Magnolia ones for her. I will show you the Edwin one another time ;-)

Here is another stamp from the Emji collection.

Do you remember I said on my last maggie card I had 2 favourite stamps & the other one I hadnt shown you.......well this is the other one lol. I sooooo enjoyed colouring this little lady in.

Papers are Lemoncraft 'Heart Painted' & I machine stitched all around the edges as always.

Some dies used are Magnolia, Swirl & Leaf are & the dies the sentiment are from Magnolia Doohickey Club Kit Volume 10. The sentiment is also Magnolia.

So this pretty little lady is called 'Dressed For Festivity' & she was stamped onto Fabriano (of course lol) & coloured with distress ink refills & then added Micro Glaze over the top. I also added gel pen to her cheeks & eyes & her eyes got the eyelash treatment too......she deserves the extra treatment though ;-) I also added frantage around the image & in her hair & her encklace I added pearls using a pearl pen.

As its a card for the show I have not decorated inside & I've kept it all a bit more on the simpler side, a bit more I said ;-) Both laces are from Noor Design UK. The heart next to the image is actually a Joy Crafts Strawberry die.......I just didnt add the leaves ;-)

The die the image is on is a Find It Trading Winter die here. I also added some pearls & a few flowers here & there.

Well thats it from me. I'm now gonna finally get out of my PJ's & get myself & Natalie ready before hubby comes back from his father & son time, they are out with their RC's.

Noor Design UK DT Post

Hello all I'm here with a christmas card today using things from Noor Design UK, I made this card a couple of weeks ago but forgot to add the flowers until last night.

The idea of the card came form a Hanglar card I saw on Pinterest a LONG LONG time ago.......many of you may have seen it. It was an oblong card but with 2 hanglar images........I took the 2 images & extended on it.

I made a tag card instead of an oblong card........all links will be at the bottom of the post.

I've used Magnolia stamps from the latest collection, this is 'Sitting Cozy Edwin' & he was coloured with distress inks & markers.

I also added a die-cut Find It Trading behind with him.........I also did the same behind Tilda below.........

......this is 'Sitting Cozy Tilda' also coloured with distress inks & markers. The banners that they are sitting on are going to have names added but I dont want the people who are having this card to see ;-)

This is the inside, of course I will add a place to write or I might add a pocket to put tags in to write on......I havnt decided.

The papers are all Maja Design 'I Wish' colection, 12x12 sheets.

The squares were cut out using Little Darlings dies & mounted onto foam tape, Edwin & Tilda were also mounted onto foam tape.........all to give dimension.

I added seam binding to the eyelet at the top & hung a charm from it with wax cord.

The flowers are WOC & the leaves are Rosy Owl which I cut from Pion paper. I also added bark stars & a loose pearl from my stash.

The Merry Christmas banner is also from the same paper collection.

Christmas Hanging Ornament

Hello everyone how are you all? Well we had a lovely week away despite it being extremely cold....thank goodness we got a caravan with central heating in as it was sooooo toasty warm.

Anyway I'm here today with another ornament........ok a hanging ornament this time lol. Again this started as something different, when I started making this about 2 weeks ago it started off as a lollipop card. However it morphed into a hanging using the lollipop way of making them.

Ok now this was really hard to photo as I only remembered I hadnt took photo's & took them late last night.......will take some more today of the whole thing....

So I made three lollipop type cards but instead of attaching straws I attached ribbon between each one to make a triple hanging. I've made it in the colours of my living room.

This is hanging on my craft room door.

This is the top part, the image is from an older Maja Design christmas sheet. Behind the image I used a Joy Craft die, (all links at the bottom of the post), I attached some beautiful lace. I've also added a small bark star & a wooden snowflake & attached a bead from the lace onto the snowflake.

I've used the same lace & Joy Crafts die on the middle but also added a small verse from Maja Design I Wish Ephemera Cards, Around the verse I added some Scrapiniec chipboard, gorgeous flowers, pomegranate apples, glass strawberry & a large bark star. The leaves are made using the fabulous Tim Holtz Holiday Greens die.

This bottom one is mirrored on the top one except with an image from I Wish Santa Got My Letter. All of this was made using the 12x12 sheets of Maja Design I Wish collection........you gotta have the 6x6 & 12x12 sheets though of any Maja Design collection ;-)

At the bottom I added a bow & hung a reindeer charm from it using wax cord...this charm is fabulous & so gorgeous in real life. The Merry Christmas die is a Find It Trading die......these cut brilliantly they really do!! Of course I added some bling at the top & at the bottom.

This is hanging on my living room door.......really sorry for the bad photo's & will try today to get better ones. It was hard to photo although I had lots of fun making it & will be making another one for my son & daughter-in-law I think ;-)

There are lots of prettiness being added to Noor Design UK..........omg I got so excited when I saw everything.......pop on over, go shopping it could be off santy ;-)
