Valentine, I Love You

Hellllooooo there, yayyyyy its Sunday. I love Sundays as its family day & I've got everyone here for tea. I also love today because this week has been one of those weeks where monday started & has kinda merged with Sunday.........its been hectic & gone fast!!

I have lots of cards on my lappy that I've made & not had time to blog so I'm gonna catch up over the next week or 2 lol.

I will start with hubby's Valentine's card with a new stamp I got from Stamping Bella!!

OMG I love this stamp......

.....I actually got both 'Bee' ones.......it really was love at first sight & I dont like bees, they scare the bee-jesus outta me....sriously I shriek like a girl........oh wait its cus I am. Then again my eldest shrieks like a girl when he sees a bee.......& he's a man lol.

Ok so papers used were an old My Minds Eye Lost & Found 6x6 pad I've had a long time. I of course stitched all around the edges as always but this time with black stitching to match the black on the card.

As always I decorated inside to match the front.

Except the Bee all dies used are CC Designs, I've used 'Layered Tags' & 'Make A Card 12 Smoochies' dies. These dies are awesome & cut beautifully...I lurve good dies & being a Die Fanatic these are GOOOOOOD!!!

Now when I made this card I made it for obviously my hubby but also the stamping bellarifi Friday which was use a die.......yeah I missed that lol but apart from the CC Design dies I also used 1 more...

I have also used the co-ordinating Cut It Out Die to this stamp which is fabulous & I wish I had got the cut out die for the other bee as well but didnt.........silly silly me!!!

Stamp used is called 'Bee Mine' which was coloured with copics & glitter added. This stamp also comes with a sentiment, but didnt use it on this card. Psst I did get carried away with these Bee's & have another 2 cards show you another time using them & the sentiment is on that one, ssshhhh keep it to yourself ;-)

Ok I've babbled long enough now & I have a few things do before family gets here. Hubby is out with my sons.....sorry our sons they are not just mine lol. They have father & son time every weekend & they go out with their RC cars & have boy fun with big boy toys. Which leaves me to potter on while Natalie watches a disney & shakes her rattle lol.

Lovely Hanglar Or Sweet Magnolia

EDITED.....This is late posting so its written up as though it went live at the beginning of the month on the 5th as thats when it was written up but not published. So sorry this is late peeps.

Hello there, hope you are all having a fabby weekend.

I have the family here today for the day & for tea which is fab & we will be sorting out our main holiday & where we are all going.....I love that my sons & my daughter in law & grandchildren still want to come away with their parents all the time.

Ok enough babble & on with the show........the show....well you get to feast your eyes on some very VERY serious talent over at Lovely Hanglar Or Sweet Magnolia as my DT teamies are magnificient.........so come join in the show........its easy

ANYTHING GOES

I received the new Recipe Collection & I think I coloured up 3 of them that night I think lol....so after much thought I decided this one would go on a creation first....

Isn't she fab!!! I also used gorgeous Maja Design papers from the Vintage Romance collection. I used 12x12 sheets from Noor Design UK.

Do you notice something in the photo............yep the paperclip that I used while the glue was drying I forgot take it off.....however later I did realise so a couple dont have it on lol....Yeah I was too lazy retake all the photo's lol.

The dies are mostly from the Recipe Collection, I used 'Recipe Card', 'Glass With Signs' (sentiment) & 'Beater & Rolling Pin'. Other Magnolia dies used are Bride Bow. & the leaves are also Magnolia.

As you can see this is not a card, I made a little choccy/sweety box for a gift to someone.....however I seemed to have forgotten take pics of the inside & the ones of the back turned out blur........Yeah I need a professional photographer lol.

The image was cut out using a La La Land Tag die.

The stamp from the Recipe Collection is called 'Made With Love Tilda' so it seemed perfect to add the sentiment from Stempelglede 'Made With Love'. I stamped Tilda with Brown Stazon on Fabriano paper & coloured her with distress ink refills & then masked her off & stamped the love text which is also a Magnolia stamp.

I also added bits of fran-tage to make it look like bits of flour over her hair & face etc.......come on cake makers we all get flour everywhere.....my dad certainly did lol....yeah & I do hee hee.

I also added stardust stickles to the icing on her cake.......sparkly cake.

The little cute rolling pin is from my stash which I've had forever......surprising what we find in our treasure troves. In the top left corner I've used a Marianne die & flowers are from Noor Design UK. Seam Binding is from my stash.

Noor Design UK DT Card

Helloooooo everyone, Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Do any of you have anything romantic planned? What ever you are doing I hope you are with the ones you love.

I'm here today with my DT Card for the Noor Design UK Blog using lots of yummy products from Tracy' Store & I think all the girls are truly loving this gorgeous new collection from Pion Design.....yes of course I mean Songbird's Secret.

Now although I've hidden most of it you can just see at thr top & bottom that the 2nd layer is actually circular made with the Dutch Doobadoo Circle stencil.

I've used 3 lots of beautiful lace on this card. On the top corner here I used the White Rosyleaf lace but just cut off 1 flower & 2 leaves form the end.........I think it makes a beautiful piece like this.

I've also made 2 bows using white seam binding & blue seam binding & of course added a bit of bling in the centre.

On the other top corner I added a doily using a Little Darlings die & a couple of flowers. The large white flower I made using foam miran, making just a simpler flower this time....... Thats what I love about foamiran you can make it as simple or as fussy as you want.

Along the bottom I added one of my favourite laces & then added Chiffon Rose either side of the image.

The image I cut from Images From The Past & then layered it on a piece I cut from Memory Notes & then added Double Row Teardrop Pearl trim along the top & bottom & layered it on some corruagted cardboard painted with gesso. I also added touches of gesso here & there to flowers & leaves etc.

The little bird & butterfly are from my stash.

Thats it from me but I will be back as although most of my scheduled posts worked I've realised today that my post for Lovely Hanglar & Sweet Magnolia didnt post so will have to publish that later :-(

Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello again this is my 2nd post today providing that my first has published........in fact I'm hoping that this has published lol. Scroll down to see my Noor Design UK card.

So its time for a new challenge over at Deep Ocean Challenges this fortnight & the challenge is.....

Hearts

.......Yep another heart one.........seems we are all in love this month lol....so show us that love baby ;-)

So my card to show is one I made for hubster's birthday which was last week on the 2nd. I actually made his cards last year but then one I kept looking at & couldntdecide if I liked it so decided to quickly make him another........yep in the dying hours the night before lol.

On the morning though I then couldnt decide if I liked the new one or not....argh!!! Was gonna give him them both & let him decided.......then was gonna pop the shop & buy one lol.

However I bit the bullet & gave him the new one.......

Luckily he loved it.......think he may be a bit bias though lol.

Papers are Maja Design Vintage Autumn.....I love these papers.....what do you mean I say that about them all.....noooooo that doesnt sound like me ;-) sssshhhhhh lol

The centre bit I cut & then the bit that was left I fussy cut the 2 balloons off & popped them onto foam pads. Of course all papers were machine stitched.

This adorable image is from LOTV & is from the Odd Dog range....I've kept looking at these & then decided to get some....however as I wanted quite a few it was cheaper to buy the whole lot for £15....yes £15 for 21 digi images...how fab!!!

I coloured Odd Dog Balloon with distress ink refills & added Glossy Accents to his heart balloon.

The sentiment is Whimsy Stamps Bold Banner stamp & die from Noor Design UK.

The 'Love You' text is form one of my new dies hubby got me the other week from CC Designs....its from Make A Card 12 Smoochies set.........love these make a card sets.......brilliant for simpler cards & foofy cards. I cut the Love You out twice & glued them together.

A very simple card.........hopefully I do a better job with the rest of the Odd Dog images....though they are perfect for the simpler cards lol.

Bit Of Wine Maybe

Hi there how are you all? Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Well this is my 2nd scheduled post as I'm currently away on a short break until Friday.

So my post today is for Noor Design UK & I'm showing you a card I made for the show that Tracy is next at, showing one of the new Magnolia stamps from the Recipe Collection........OMGoodness I love these sooooo much!!

I was hoping to have the tutorial this week but I completely forgot about my little holiday & making things for the show......yep brain freeze!!

I've used such pretty papers for this pink card today, they are Lemoncraft 'Heart Painted' & I inked the edges & machine sewn them....sooooo pretty & perfect for shabby chic cards as well.

How beautiful is that large flower.....swooooonnn. I cut the leaves off it separately then glued them down with my paper leaves made with 2 different dies, a Rosy Owl die & the thinner one is a die from the 'Rose & Heart' dies from the Recipe Collection.

The leaves were cut from Pion Design Palette Green l/

Of course I added some beautiful lace from Tracy's store........swoooon again!!

The Magnolia stamp is 'Wine Tasting Tilda' & I stamped her onto Fabriano & coloured her with distress ink refills & then gave the image a covering of Tim Holtz Glaze to protect the image. Tracy will be adding this to her store soon.........its fabulous stuff & my teamie Barbara uses it all the time & I think its a must for images coloured with distress ink.

I also covered Tilda's glass with Glossy Accents.

The sentiment next to Tilda is a Stempelglede Stamp set.

The dies are Little Darlings, another one of my favourite dies. I cut off the scalloped pearls & added single ones on the image & a row of 3 in the top left corner.

I think this is one of my favourite stamps from this collection as she can be used for so many occasions. I have made a card using the Oven & Chef Edwin for the show but I will show you that another time ;-)
