CES Challenges DT project........

Good morning all you lovelies out there we have a gorgeous day up here again. We actually had 2 hours of rain yesterday the first for.....well it seems a long time lol.....we've been spoilt with all the fabulous sunshine.

Anyway onto my creation & today is Saturday & you know what that means yayyyyy its CES Challenge time & this week its my turn & I chose a photo inspiration which of course you can interpret however you wish....whether it be the colours or 1 particular colour or the gingham....the choice is yours.  Pop over to here to look at the piccy as this post is already photo heavy lol.

I decided to decorate another gift bag only this time this is a propper gift bag & so is bigger & has handles....these are fab actually & I really enjoyed making this. Will put recipe ingredients at the bottom.

I tried something a little different & punched some holes into red card & then crocheted into the holes...what do you think peeps??

The spray of flowers & the leaves are cut out with my Marianne die.

I have used a fabulous stamp which I'm ashamed its took me a while to ink up. She is of course 'Penpal' by the fabulous artist Elisabeth Bell. This was originally a Sugar Nellie image but now miss bell has released them herself as clear stamps......I sooooo love her images & this I adore.

She is coloured with Copics & I paper-pieced her blouse & headband with pink gingham.

Last piccy the bag in full with a tag tied to the top using Bakers Twine..

I have used 'Madeline' papers by Prima again. The card, doily, gems, love heart, tag, lace & ribbon are from my stash.

The flowers & leaves are an assortment from Crafty Emma's Store & Wild Orchid Crafts.

Bows, buttons & bling........

Well good evening all my lovely friends how are you all? Have you watched the wedding? I have not seen any of it I've seen the dress & Will's suit on aol but thats it its my youngest son Jake's 15 th birthday today so we've spend the day with him......I still remember the day I had him & how I knew he was my last lol....

Quickie card from me.....well quickie I say but you have to realise that my quick cards still take 2 hours to make......unless its a male card lol. I suppose it would help if I chose my papers first......I like to be different lol.

Anyway I have dusted off an older stamp that I have have had since last year but had still never used.......yes my wrists are slapped lol.....

This is 'Sitting' Tilda from the Bon Voyage collection & I got her when they released this set.....cant remember where I had her from tho.

Its been sooooo long since I entered Just Magnolia when I saw the challenge today.....well the challenge is bows, buttons & bling.....how can a girl resist any of these especially the bows & bling.

She is of course coloured with Copics which I didnt write down......weally sorry peeps.

The flower is a prima paper flower at the bottom then I punched a flower out of the same paper then added a button with bakers twine threaded through. The beautiful ribbon & gems are from my stash & the ribbon is actually a really deep pink not red.

The gorgeous paper is Prima 'Madeline' & its the A4 sized pad....the square she is sitting on is also from the same pad........this is now my fave pad...ever!!!

I punched some white card with an MS blorder punch & added diamond stickes along the bottom. The matting Tilda is on is using my nestie.

Ben & Megan.....aren't they both lush, they had been pulling faces so this was the best 1 rofl

My youngest Jake thinks its awesome he is gonna be uncle Jake-Bob, his nickname lol & Aunt Natty giggled her little socks off when Megan told her this morning lol.

We really are sooooo excited I look like I have a coathanger stuck in my mouth I'm smiling that much lol.

Ben & Megan are over-joyed to say the least Ben cant stop looking at baby stuff lol, he's even found a babygro that says My Aunty Natty Loves Me..........isn't that just awesome!!! He says he's buying that first lol.

We are buying the pram of their choice of course.........so so so excited he hee.....

Well I'm gonna dance off now I've got DT work that I'm behind on lol.........well its been an exciting day for us lol..........busy household this is........puppies & babies....thank goodness not at the same time tho lol.

Crafts & Me DT Card..........Vintage

Good morning my lovelies & what a beautiful morning it is up here on the north coast.....totally glorious.

Sorry I'm late this morning I've had a wonderful morning.....just the best & I've had some fabby news but I cant tell you just yet ;0)...........its so good tho I will be adding extra to my candy which will be ready next monday May 2nd.

Anyway onto my DT card & this week you have us Rockin Rubbah Girlies over at Crafts & Me Challenges

& this weeks its Angela's theme & she has chosen another of my fave themes....

VINTAGE

I love vintage & its give me an excuse to use this fabby stamp which is just perfect for vintage I think.
Teresa really does stock stamps for all themes & occasions.

I've inked distressed & rubbed everything to an inch of its life lol. I love this stamp & it really did seem perfect for this theme I thought. Another card with no colouring OMG lol & I've used 3 stamps for this card.

The first stamp is the postcard one which I really cant remember where I got it from but I really love this stamp. I stamped it with brown memento then inked it with vintage photo, distressed the edges then inked it again around the edges. The lace is from my fabric box & I just tied it in a bow & stuck a black feather behind the beady thingy's & of course the hat pin........Marilyn Monroe likes her bling!!

The ticket is also a stamp which had the same treatment. I then layered it up on some corrugated card which has been battered & inked & painted & had edges brassed a little lol.

The stamp is of course 'marilyn Monroe Sitting' from Stampsmith which you can get from Crafts & Me Store they are out of stock at the mo but Teresa does have the one where she has her dress flying.

To make it look vintage I made sure not to overload it with ink & stamped it on photo card. I sanded bits & then I added 'Crackle' accents but I didnt want it thick so I rubbed it over the image with my finger & then left to dry which didnt take long as its only a thin layer. I love how its turned out actually.

The mat I 've put it on is one of my new nesties I cut out using black card then put white chalk paint around the edge & rubbed it so you could still see the black & then heated ambossed it.

Papers altho you can barely see them are 'Paris Nights' by GCD. The doily is from my stash.

Bit of a different card for me but you know I dont like to stick to a style.......& I just love my embellies & vintage certianly needs it bellies & lace lol.

Good evening my lovely friends how are you all? I hope you all had a lovely day. The weather has been gorgeous up here again there was quite a few on the beach its been lovely & warm again.

I've inked up another stamp tonight......get me yet another un-used stamp had the tasting of memento....they loved it lol!!!

I stamped the image with brown memento & stamped a sentiment that came with these stamps underneath & left it at that, cus of the colours of the card it just seemed to suit it....I'm having withdrawal from not colouring now tho lol. I then cut it out using a round nestie.

The charm I made myself using silver jump rings & a glass love heart bead from my jewellery stash. The love heart doily is from my stash.

The hat pin I made myself using swarovski crystal beads.

Flowers & scalloped card from Crafty Emma's Store . The 2 heather stem flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I've also been asked what glue I use & the 2 main glues I use are these they are fab for all my layers as I only use double sided tape on the paper then once its on the matting card I then use glue so I know everything is secure. I also use it for the ribbon,  flowers & embellishments.

I followed a sketch for the front but inside I just did it complimentary. The lace is from my stash but it came with dark pink ribbon going through so I replaced it with the pastel pink with the brown edge which I think I got from Crafty Ribbons.

Coffee Time........

Good evening all my lovelies hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday weekend. It was sunny all day here today altho this afternoon that breeze turned rather cool.........altho it dried all my bedding so I shouldnt complain.

Well tonight I have followed a fabulous sketch, this I really enjoyed & if ever I'm stuck for a layout I will be using this again...everything just flowed together. Now the stamp I'm using I didnt think I had so a couple of weeks ago I ordered it & what do you know I do already have it......yep so at least you know 1 of the stamps that will be in my candy lol.

Here she is.........

This is 'Coffee Time' & she is one of the manga girls from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits. Altho I hate coffee, I'm a tea drinker, black, strong & no sugar lol. I still love these manga's I will have the full collection 1 day lol.....I'm nearly there lol.

The card is made with A4 card & for the edge I used my WOJ heart die.....I love these. The twill sentiment is from Crafts & Me.

For the inside I used the sketch as well I just replaced the buttons for card candy which with the bakers twine I got from Crafty Emma's Store.

To colour her I used Copics.

The crocheted flower I made myself & added a button to the middle. I experimented with 2 different coloured wool, I'm getting brave & adventurous lol. The buttons are all from my stash

'Roses are Red' which really is sooooo beautiful. The deep red A4 card for matting & A4 card for the card base are from Papermill Direct.

Candy Winner & a bit of hanglar

Good evening my lovelies hope you are all having a fabulous easter sunday.  I have a wee quickie card for you but first I'm going to announce the winner my my wee candy. Thank you to everyone that entered.

Well I think I've just about got everything ready for my anniversary candy I've even got a few bits ready for my next candy on my birthday in July.......how organised am I?? lol

Anyway onto my card. Have you heard that the fabulous delicious babies that they call hAnglar & stAnglar are available on their website?....ooooh I was so excited then when I got over there the only sets they had left instock I had already. So I waited a few days & then my sailor babies came back in stock so I stamped them up last night & I had to use this one as I think this could be my fave hanglar of all of them.

Isnt she adorable? The gorgeous paper actually comes in this shape I just cut around it & layered it up on some Turquoise card, added some lace & then glued that to the scalloped 6x6 card base....see it really is a simple card.

This paper truly is beautiful I'm going have to get another pad just for stroking purposes cus I shed quite a few tears cutting into this. I won £10 from Bunny Zoes so I got a couple of paper packs & of course some more lace....this one is from my stash. The paper is 'madeline' by Prima mine is the A4 pad but I cant seem to find it in the store so its the link for the 6x6 instead.

A beautiful crochet flower with a blue paper rose in the centre, a feather behind it & a hat pin with a glass bead.

CES Challenges DT Card.........Teddy Bo Bunny

Good morning & Happy Easter everyone how are you all? Well it looks like we are in for a fabulous day weather wise hope so as we are packing a pinic & having a day out.....family time. I'm sorry for not getting round to everyone yesterday I ran out of time. We took Natalie to the Alan Shearer centre yesterday as they are having her for weekend respite to give us a break.......wow its weird we kept going in her room last night to check on her & this morn was up at 6.20 whats that about....typical lol. Last night my eldest had deliveries to do until 2am & my youngest went with him so for the first time in 20 years me & hubby had a night to ourselves.....wow it was soooo quiet. So we had some true quality time together so my lappy was turned off.....I will catch up today tho....my boys prob wont get up til din time lol...so that will be when we go out.

Anyway onto the reason you are here for my card of course & its a new challenge at CES Challenges

we had our lowest amount of entries last week for the sketch so we are giving you an easy one this week to bring you all back to play............. It was the fabulous Sue's turn this week to pick a theme & its fab..

Spring Colours/Image

With all this glorious weather we have been having it shouldnt be hard. I have done my first easter card which I made on Monday but only took piccy's last night so redid them in the sunshine this morning.

Yes its another Teddy Bo image I've never made an easter card before so the only stamp I had that could of suited was a magnolia stamp...yes un-opened from last year. However I went onto Teddy Bo.com & well a few kinda leaped into my basket........I think they are really frogs indisguise you know.....cus wow do these little bugga's jump fast....lol

Dont look too close but I forgot to colour the leaves so guess what my job is later lol.

Yes its an easel card & I followed the fabulous sketch on sketch & stash....I did the bottom the same but without the corners

The gorgeous papers are Prima these & websters are my fave paper companies. ANyway this pack is the 'Jack & Jill Celebrate' 6x6 pad which of course you can find here.

Of course what would eater be without a cross somewhere so I added a small silver crosse to some chain from my jewellery making stash.

Bald bare patches......& maybe babies!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening my lovelies how are you all? Isnt this weather just soooo beautiful I've actually spent the afternoon out in it today.......yeah not relaxing unfortunately. No instead I've spent the day gardening etc with hubby. I've jet washed all the decking which took me 3 hours & now looks patchy where half of the stain has come off lol, but its ready for re-staining tomorrow. The conservatory has been scrubbed & hubby has cut the lawn & we've removed ALL of the dead plants & dead conifers.........I have sooooo many bare patches now I am gutted!! I like evergreens in the back garden cus then it looks beautiful all year round. I keep the containers for flowers & also we have a huge garden at the front as well which I can throw loads of flowers into lol.

Soz about the pics I've only just took them & we've got sea mist coming in so the telletubbie hill at the bottom of the street is dissapearing slowly lol. See all the empty bits.....yeah well there were conifers & grasses & things big bad winter killed them..........I knew I should of got artificial ones......

Removed the dead grasses from the back of the water feature so even that looks bare & we've thrown all the flower containers so there is barely anything on my patchy looking decking now lol.

The conifers down the side used to go along the back as well thats how many we have lost.....not impressed got them all to replace now.........damn garden costs too much. How is it we want big gardens then when we do get them we moan at about the upkeep........ This was all just mud when we moved in cus it had just finished being built so its took us 4 years up to now......we had planned to do the front this year & give it a good overhaul............mmmmm we'll see!!

Are you wondering about the heading.........babies..... Yes well my doggies went outside in the back yard, they not allowed in the garden without us. Anyway I had to give Natalie her meds so by the time I went to check on the dogs & get them in they were ermmmmm.........stuck!!!!!!!! Yes those damn dirty doggies should be ashamed.... Rang hubby as he has gone fishing & he thinks its so funny he laughed even harder when I told him she is walking like she has just got off a horse!!! ROFL So we not have to wait to see if we will be having yorkie babies.....thousand shames...........a thousand shames they should be feeling!!

He did it!!!!!

So anyway I'm shattered to say the least it was not good for the kidneys I'm suffering now lol so there may be no card from me tonight.....I will re-phrase that there will be NO card from me tonight but I will catch up with you all later on your blogs.
