CES Challenges DT Cards..........Embossing

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Those that are unwell I wish you all better.

Well its Saturday so you know what that means CES Challenges & this week our lovely Jane has chosen the theme & it is EMBOSSING.....dry or heat it doesn't matter we want to see any.

I warn you there are a lot of pics as I couldn't decide which card to use so I'm showing both lol.

I followed the sketch on The Sugar Bowl for both but missed out one little bit on the second one so only 1 I'm entering there.

A baby card for a blue one & of course I've used 'Bambino' digi stamp from Sugar Nellie's Simply Adorable range. I've only ever done 1 baby card before so I'm getting the practice in lol.

Sorry about the crooked piccy you will see tho in the next pic that the lace is actually straight lol.

He is coloured with Copics.

Papers are Websters Pages & these & the scalloped card I've used you can get from Crafty Emma's Store.

Footprint ribbon & mini blue mini safety pins are from my stash & the white lace is from Bunny Zoe's.

Flower made using Magnolia Doo Hickey with a blue button & bakers twine.

I used 'Baby' embossing folder & lightly dusted it with blue chalk.

Now onto a card for a pink one. For this I used a Sugar Nellie stamp, it was the 2nd stamp I ever brought last April & I'm so ashamed to say it is only now getting inked for the 1st time.......

This is 'Caitlyn' isn't she so cute, she's just lush & I cant believe its took me so long to ink her.

Papers again are Websters & gingham is from my stash. The embossing folder I used I got from Sir Stamp-A-Lot but they dont have it anymore so here is one I've found on Ebay, I also lightly dusted the words with pink chalk. The lace is from my stash also.

She has been coloured with Copics & I added tiny pink gems to each flower on her hat.

The inside has been done to compliment the front, it also has the same embossing folder inside. All of the flowers & the leaf I got from Crafty Emma's.

Coffee Time........

Good evening all my lovelies hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday weekend. It was sunny all day here today altho this afternoon that breeze turned rather cool.........altho it dried all my bedding so I shouldnt complain.

Well tonight I have followed a fabulous sketch, this I really enjoyed & if ever I'm stuck for a layout I will be using this again...everything just flowed together. Now the stamp I'm using I didnt think I had so a couple of weeks ago I ordered it & what do you know I do already have it......yep so at least you know 1 of the stamps that will be in my candy lol.

Here she is.........

This is 'Coffee Time' & she is one of the manga girls from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits. Altho I hate coffee, I'm a tea drinker, black, strong & no sugar lol. I still love these manga's I will have the full collection 1 day lol.....I'm nearly there lol.

The card is made with A4 card & for the edge I used my WOJ heart die.....I love these. The twill sentiment is from Crafts & Me.

For the inside I used the sketch as well I just replaced the buttons for card candy which with the bakers twine I got from Crafty Emma's Store.

To colour her I used Copics.

R46 & R59. Not many used for this.

The crocheted flower I made myself & added a button to the middle. I experimented with 2 different coloured wool, I'm getting brave & adventurous lol. The buttons are all from my stash

The lace & the twill ribbon is from my stash. The paper is the gorgeous Marianne Design A4 pad

'Roses are Red' which really is sooooo beautiful. The deep red A4 card for matting & A4 card for the card base are from Papermill Direct.

Make A Wish............

Good morning everyone how are you all this morning? It was soooo beautiful yesterday even had a nice run in the car with the roof down.....it was lovely. Natalie was fine at the Alan Shearer centre the staff there are soooo lovely & Natalie loved it altho the facilities downstairs were shut so she didnt go into the cave to the censory area or the giant ball pit.....I soooo want to go in there with her!!! We had a lovely 2 hours at the metro centre went macky d's for dinner. 2 hours is nothing tho at the metro centre its too big!! We didnt even spend much money I brought no crafty stuff can you believe.....I did buy myself 2 new tops & another pair of skinny jeans lol.

Anyway onto my card which I made for The Sugar Bowl challenge which is a fabulous sketch altho the colour of purple & green kinda threw me out of my comfort zone......but I do like to thrown out of that & it turned out not bad in the end. I even got to ink up another forgotten stamp yayyy

I rotated the sketch just to be different......I do like to be different lol.

This is 'Make A Wish' by Sugar Nellie which I got from Funky Kits. I actually found I had a big pile of purple & green paper but dont know who they are by they were just lieing at the bottom of my 8x8 paper drawer sorry.

The image I coloured using distress inks I've been playing over the weekend with my pencils & inks, I'm trying to practice more. I sprinkled glimmer dust over her wings & wand.

All the flowers, except the small green ones are from Crafty Emma's Store along with the scalloped card.

The lilac & mint green card used for matting were from my stash as is the hat pin & pearls.

Well thats it from me I'm gonna get my next load of washing in then I'm doing some hopping to come catch up with you all. Unfortunately yesterday took its toll on me & I ended up bed ridden last night droll I know but it was worth & me & my sons girlfriend kept looking at baby things lol......awwww so cute & sweet.
