Hello everyone how are you all?
I'm showing you something I made earlier this week, its took me until now to blog it lol.
Now when I started to make this I had this whole different picture in my head...........believe the picture was lush!! However it didnt turn out the way I had imagined but I will show you anyway & I will try again on my next one......as I do love the look of them.
Live & Love Crafts have a lush fabby challenge on at the mo & its an inspirational pic which I loved as soon as I saw it..........so I've gone for the colours, the vintagey feel & the books ;0)
As this is a book............. sorry about this pic it was hard to photo.
Its a book that opens though.............I used this paper on the side as I thought the writing on the paper was perfect for it.
It opens up & I can store all my gorgeous Pion images in there..................its perfect for them.
The gorgeous image is Pion & I distressed it first then tripple embossed it with UTEE, cracked it & added walnut distress ink to give it a old look to it. Isn't she sooooo sweeti, think this is my fave Pion image.
Sorry about the light showing at the top, hubster fitted lights on my 3 units to light them up.
This is it in situ on my dresser in my craft room. The book next to it my hubster brought me about 5 years ago, he saw it in a shop that does handmade things & knew I would like it. I wasn't into crafting or anything like that then lol.
Materials used are as follows............
Maja Design 1891, Pion 'Little Sweeties' image, 'Marie-Antoinette' 50 mm Lace, 'Filigree Key', Copper Metal Rose 11mm, Metal Ornaments, Cameo Lady, all from Live & Love Crafts.
Flowers are from WOC.
Regency Embossing folder that came with the Ebosser.
Tassle I made myself & the button, chain & key bundle charm are from my stash.
