Midweek Magnolia's DT Card

Hello everyone how are you all? Thank you sooooooooooo much for the wonderful comments about my craft room, I am EXTREMELY lucky & extremely thankful to have it & it will last for many years!!

Well I'm running a wee bit late today as had to go out this morning then went B&Q get some handles for my bureau............but then saw some gorgeous wallpaper for the living room lol........hubster's look was priceless lol. Good job I do the wallpapering lol.

Anyways today sees a new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's & this fortnight its a FAB one.....

LACEY LACE

.............come on who doesnt love to put lace on their creations, I think I do on nearly every one, except males ;0)

I have used a Go-Kreate die for the size & shape. The gorgeous paper is Magnolia Special Moments which I've had a while but just kept stroking it lol. I distressed it a little & machine sewn all around the edges as always ;0)

I have used some uber gorgeous lace 'Coco 55mm' & added some Maya Road Organza Rose along the top.& Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Swirl'. Also added some gorgeous 'Cheesecloth' underneath the image.

Inside is decorated as always but I also added a Pocket to put tags inside to write messages on. Isn't that paper just so gorgeous I lurve the lush colours, need try find some more ;0)

The tags were cut using Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Scalloped Tag'. I attatched 'Lace Florence' along the top of the pocket, well its actually sewn on to make it really secure..

The stamp is from the new Zodiac Collection this one is called 'Scorpio Tilda', I have to say one of my faves from this collection. I coloured her with copics, colours used are below.

E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R32  - Skin

E49, 47, E44, E43, E41 - Hair

V17, V15, V12, V000, YR27, YR24, YR21 - Clothes

E55, E55, E51, E50 - Ground

C3, C1, C00 - Background, although hard to see in the pics :0(

All the flowers are from WOC, I added Magnolia 'Sprawling Ferns' & also added 'Stardust Stickles' to the flowers. I also added a Joy Crafts die & cut it in half to place either side. The sentiment is LOTV 'Handwritten Phrases' & the pearl hearts are from my stash.
