A Creative Romance Challenge DT Card

Hello all you lovely jubbly people around the world, how are you all? Wee bit late with this, sorry lovelies.
Well I'm here with another DT card & unfortunately the last for A Creative Romance :-( boo hoo. The lovely Becky & Jenny are closing down the challenge as they are way too busy with everything else they have going on in their lives.......... So A Creative Romance is closing its doors but of course we have to close them with one last challenge.
Of course its your favourite challenge..............
ANYTHING GOES
........yeah we all lurve those dont we.
You have another crimbo card from me I'm afraid though, yep still got a few to do, good job I lurve making these things lol.
I had lots of crafty goodies delivered by my postie yesterday from Live & Love Crafts & some new dies from Noor Design UK, both super awesome shops with fast delivery. So of course did lots of playing ;0)

I've used one of my new dies on this card, its the 'Ice Crystal Edge' die, love it!!! I have also used my older snowflake die, Ice Crystal die No.3 which you can get here. I also added a 'Rusty Snowflake' in the centre, which I also covered with snowtex. I also added 'Shabby White 13mm Bells', ya gotta love these!! Tied them with 'Vax Cord'.

All the flowers this side are WOC from LLC & I have added Stardust Stickles to them, I also added a yummy 'Whitewash Cinnamon Stick', these are super gorgeous, hubster loves these & is amazed cus they really smell of cinnamon.........lol. Yeah he thought they were just made to look like them didnt think they were real lol.
The numbers are cut from a MB die & I covered each number with snowtex & gesso.
Christmas comes on the 25th.................ooohhhh not long now!!!

Ok the yummy image is one of the new Magnolia stamps which hubster got me a few of the other day, I've missed having new crafty stuff lol.
This one is 'Cozy Tilda' & I've coloured her with re-inkers & distress ink markers. Her pom pom on her hat I added Stardust Stickles to.
I've also added pearl dots & also added 'Pearl Snowflakes' to the image.

Can you also see the stitching around the image, took ages to do, I didnt even know there was there was that stitch on my sewing machine. I think they kinda look like snowflakes on this sort of card ;0)

The shape of the card is made with an XXL Go Kreate die. The yummy papers are Pion Silent Night 'Snowfall' & Pion Silent Night 'Angels'. I have of course decorated inside & machine stitched all layers. The sentiment is LOTV 'Handwritten Phrases'. I've also got a MF Doily on the card, 'Cheese Cloth', 'Cluny Lace', 'Birch Pine Cone', 'Burlap Trim' & 'Frosted Berries'.

Live & Love Crafts DT Card

Good morning everyone, how are you all? Yayyyy its Saturday, ya gotta love the weekends. Well not many more weeks left to christmas, are you ready?? I'm no where near :0(
Now Sandy has given us all free reign this week & next week on our DT projects & as I'm way behind on Christmas cards I thought it would be a good excuse to make more. Also I lurve making crimbo cards especially when we have gorgeous papers & super gorgeous images like the new Sagen ones Sandy has recently got in her store.
I ordered a load of yumminess from Sandy a few days ago & as soon as I saw this sheet of images I fell in love with this image. I lurve the hint of red in the image, it captured me straight away.
This image is from the Sagen Vintage Design 'Christmas' sheet, soooooo many beautiful images on it.

The ribbon is Silky Crush Ribbon which you can also get from The Ribbon Girl. Of course all gorgeous ribbon needs some gorgeous bling to go with it, so I added one of Sandy's Pearl & Rhinestone buttons & hung a charm from it as well.


The little sentiment I cut from Maja Design 'A Gift For You - Die Cut sheet'. The bulldog clip is from my stash & I added some 'Snowtex' to it.

Of course I had to add a 'Whitewash Cinnamon Stick', I lurve these sticks, I think they add that perfect finishing touch to a christmas card..........they smell sooooooooo yummy!!

This is the inside, I've made a pocket at the bottom to hold the tags, the tags I added Eyelets & added Vax Cord to them. The top part of the card I cut out the centre bit from the 'Die-Cut Sheet' so I could write a nice verse on it. I attached it by using Photo Corners so it can be removed & kept as a little keepsake.
Isn't this image just so beautiful, you can of course get her & many of the other gorgeous images on this sheet here.

I have used gorgeous papers from Maja Design's 'A Gift To You', I have to say I lurve this paper, the colours are absolutely gorgeous..........I had a hard job which ones to use for this card lol. Of course as always I machine stitched all the layers on my machine, I also inked the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink.
I have also added a Maya Road pin to the corner by the flowers but its hard to see in the pic :0(


I hope you like my card today, I made for a member of my family ssshhh can't tell you who incase they see ;0) I hope they like it though.

Live & Love Crafts Challenge DT Card

Helllllooooooooooo..........yes its me & yes its me with a card.........yayyyyyyyyyyyy. Not only a card but a DT card for our super fabulous lady Sandy over at Live & Love Crafts. I'm telling you I have the best DT's that put up with me & boy I am soooooooo thankful to them.

Ok onto my card & onto telling you about the new challenge which is super duper easy......
WITH LOVE
...........how easy is that!! It doesn't even have to be a christmas card, as long as its 'With Love' going to that special someone. I of course as I'm soooooooo behind in the crimbo card arena have made a crimbo card.
Mojo is not fully functioning so please be warned my lovelies.........
I have gone for a vintage style card, I just love this image. I also have to tell you I love the clothes they wore back then as well, ooooohhh especially those big ball gown puffy type dresses.

Okie dokie back to the card........lots & lots of yumminess from Live & Love Crafts on here........actually the only thing that isnt from Sandy's shop is the card I've used & the dies lol.
The yummy 'Rusty Heart' which I half covered in 'Snowtex' & a wee bit of 'Gesso'.

I've added some 'Jumbo Pom-Pom' & along the side of the image I added 'Pearl Lace With Beads', its lush. 

The Merry Christmas tag I cut from the Pion Days Of Winter 'Borders' sheet, I inked the edges with walnut distress ink. You can also see the MF 'Doily' sticking out there as well.

The image is from Pion Days Of Winter 'Images' & I added some Shabby White Frantage to it & also lightly flicked Copic Opaque White at it so soften it & make it look like it was snowing, it looks lush IRL. I then place the image onto corrugated card which I covered in Gesso & Snowtex.

Ok so the gorgeous papers I used on this, which you cant really see much of but the recipient will get to see them on the inside lol. Anyway they are Pion Wintertime In Swedish Lapland 'Nisse' (the patterned side) & I also used Pion Days Of Winter 'Church', they go well together I love it when I can mix different collections. Anyway I machine stitched them & added Gesso all around the edge.
I've added lots of different textures on this, well as you can see lol.
For the card shape I used Go -Kreate XXL Square Frame Frilly 7.


All the items used form Live & Love Crafts Store.

Dies used are Magnolia 'Srawling Ferns', Tim Holtz 'Snowflake Border & the cluster of snowflakes are from a Noor Designs die, my favourite snowflake tbh.

I'm Back, helloooooooooooooo


Hello everyone how are you all? Yes I'm back, I took some time off to spend time with my family & have a bit of a break. However things regarding Natalie went down bank, with health issues & behavioural issues...........health wise I would rather not go into it all on here. 
Things are still on-going with Natalie & fingers crossed we get there in the end.

However we all need an outlet & crafting is my outlet, something to take my mind off things. So I've decided that I need to get back to crafting, I've really missed it & I even started colouring an image a couple of days ago.........no its not finished & let me tell you my first ones went in the bin. Its starting to come back to me now though, I think lol.

I have to say sorry if anyone has emailed me recently, a couple of months ago we had problems with our email & some of mine did not get to where they were supposed to & also I didnt receive a lot of emails as well. After it was sorted though I was then at a point when I didnt want to email people, so didnt blog, didnt facebook.............in fact the only people I've been in close contact with is my immediate family. Sometimes things happen in life that really throw you. We are all on a time limit so to speak, I think we just take too many things for granted. Time is special & we need to enjoy it & make the most of it. 

Anyhoo's without depressing you further what I will say is I'm so sorry for not keeping in touch, I honestly have a good reason. If you did contact me & I havn't replied then please try again as I've now checked all my email & I'm up to date replying to peeps. If you emailed when my email was having problems then it could have been lost in cyber space lol.

Well fingers crossed I have something crafty to show you very soon, I need to certainly move my butt on the whole christmas front..............in more ways than one lol.

I have had a few emails asking me about how I store my sentiment stamps, if you are interested let me know & I will post it on my blog instead of replying in emails. Also its easier describe with piccies isn't it, maybe I could do a video. 

Well I'm going now before you throw things at your screen at me ;0) Hope you are all doing ok & those needing any hugs right now I am sending you big squishy ones.

Live & Love Crafts DT Card

Hi everyone I am so sorry I'm late, my darling hubster took me away for a romantic night in a luxury B&B as a surprise, first night away on our own in over 26 years. It was a complete surprise which I didnt know about til Friday, oh it was fabulous. We didnt get back til dinner time today & I didnt even have my card finished. So I've never worked so quickly on a card. 
Anyhoo's here is my card based on 'White As Snow'.
I have used Pion's new winter papers, I lurve these soooooooo much. The image is also from this collection as well.

The flowers I have sprayed with white florist spray to soften the colours, make them more muted so they dont take too much focus from the gorgeous image. Of course the 'Fir Cone' has 'Snowtex' on it, as does the snowflake die.

The tree I had cut out weeks ago, covered with snowtex then sprinkled with lots of glitter............boy is it sparkly.

There is 'Cheese Cloth' & a 'Mini Canvas Bag' under there somewhere lol, there is also a tag inserted into the bag which I then attached seam binding bows & some bells to it. Of course it need a winters angel looking over them all & dashings of white gesso here & there lol.

Well thats it from me I'm off to my eldest sons to see my family as I've missed them, I've only been away for one night lol.
