Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card - Vintage

Hello everyone how are you all? I've been longer at the gym today without realising so I'm running a teensy bit late with my DT post. Its those weights, they are addictive lol.

Okie doke, so we have a brand new challenge over at Deep Ocean & this fortnight the theme is........

VINTAGE

.........yep one of my favourite themes. I have made a Vintage Love card for an Anniversary.

I have used a beautiful Pion image called 'Romance', I lurve Pion Vintage Images. This one I distressed a little, inked with pumice stone & machine stitched around it.

I've added a Heart Shaped doily & then cut out some corrugated cardboard in a heart shape then covered it with Gesso. Added flowers & some MB dies.

This is the inside, I've added heart shaped doilies & card to the top & bottom. The bottom is to write on & the top I will add a romantic verse. The butterfly is a MB die.

Papers are Pion 'Rose & Ocean Of Roses' from the Studio Of Memories collection which has now be discontinued..........so these will be gone when Sandy has sold all of her stock.

I've used White Silky Crush ribbon which is so gorgeous IRL, you get this ribbon from the Ribbon Girl here. The Bronze Metal thingy I got from Live & Love Crafts last year & the gorgeous scrummy bling in the centre is from my stash.

I added a Mini Canvas Bag & made an homemade tag to go inside, the charm is from LLC & I added a heart shaped pearl & a touch of Gesso. I tied the tag with White Seam Binding also from The Ribbon Girl.

The beautiful lace I've added is called 'Constance' & I've added Shabby Rose Organza Trim on top.

The 'Bark Heart' & the 'Love Heart Clip' are also from Live & Love Crafts.

Ribbon Girl Challenge - Add Ribbons

Live & Love Crafts DT Card

Hello everyone yay its the weekend, ya gotta lurve the weekends.

Ok so I'm here with this weeks theme which is Checks/Stripes, I have gone for checks. I actually made the base of this card beginning of this week but only finished it last night when I finally chose an image lol. Its usually the other way around for me lol.

I have used gorgeous Maja Design papers for this one.

I have added a beautiful resin charm which you can just see, for some reason my camera hasn't picked things up very well. On the tag there is a 'Butterfly ClipS' which are on special here right now.

A better look at the papers inside the card. For the shape I used a Go-Kretae die.

I have used a Saturated Canary image for this one, I lurve this image, She is a Little Darlings stamp called 'Puppy Luv' but I've just used one of the stamps. I coloured her with distress markers.

There is also 'Cheese Cloth' under all there somewhere lol. The tag also has a Stempelglede sentiment on it. All links to products used are below.

Live & Love Crafts Challenge - Wings

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Well its time for a new challenge over at the Live & Love Crafts Blog.......wow these months are flying by!! It will soon be time for the jolly fella in red to come woo hoo. Tbh I brought the first crimbo present beginning of August...........I dont normally start til September but.........well grandchildren need to be spoilt by grandparents........ ;0)

Ok back to the challenge where the thewme this month is...........

WINGS

.............how super easy is that. I have the card I was gonna use last wednesday for my inspirational post...........so yep its another LOTV image..........its an addiction that I dont plan on having treatment for ;0)

I have again used the new gorgeous Pion Winters Day papers, they really are lush. These ones are 'Christmas Eve' 6x6 & all have been inked with walnut & machine stitched.

The poinsettia I made with a La La Land die & it got inked with pumice stone then sprayed with lots of Glimmer Mist then added a silver Metal Rose to the centre from Live & Love Crafts.

I added Pom Pom trim to the side & all the flowers are from LLC, including the 'Frosted Berries' which I love. I also added a 'Fir Cone' & bits of 'Snowtex' over all the flowers. 

This darling LOTV image is one of the latest christmas ones & one of my faves, it's called 'A Little Prayer' & again I did Elise's effect with the embossing but this one I coloured with Copics. I did this & the snowman family the same night & wanted to compare with copic vs distress ink ;0)

Colours used are........

E11, E21, E00, E000, RV21

E29, E25, E23, E21

RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91

C5, C3, C1

I also added Tim Holtz Picket Fence glitter to the bottom as snow, I love how thick this glitter is. Of course I also added White Fran-Tage around the image ;0)

The lace along the bottom is gorgeous 'Crocheted Pearl Lace 22mm', I lurve all the little pearls on it. I also added a 'Silver Snowflake' on the end, again with a touch of Snowtex. I added a beautiful 'Resin Angel'  to the bottom as well, I chose this one as she is praying aswell.......perfect together.

The banner I made myself using a LOTV 'Christmas Handwritten Phrase' stamp.

LOTV Guest Designer Card

Hello everyone I'm here today with my last card for LOTV as their Guest Designer for August, boo hoo :0( I have to say I'm so proud, honoured & extremely thankful that I got chosen to be a Guest designer & totally loved it. Thank you soooooooo much LOTV for having me. Ok as I'm running late I will make this a quickie post.

Ok so onto my last card & again I've used James Bear..........this is my favourite James stamp :0)

I've used Maja Design papers, inked the edges & machine stitched. 

The top layer I cut into a flag shape to add some interest & also stamped 'Love You' with LOTV 'Handwritten Phrases' sentiment stamp.

I decorated inside to compliment the front, again with the flag shape. A space will be added to write a personal message on.

I've added gorgeous lace & tulle to the side. The sentiment is LOTV 'Pretty Grunge Relations' & I added a couple of small pearls to it.

The fabulous stamp is 'James Umbrella' & I coloured him with distress markers & added pearl dots using a pearl pen. I also added glossy accents to the puddle but you cant see it in the pic :0(

The fences are 'Lovely Fence' from Magnolia.

The 'Sister' charm is from my stash. The leaves are Magnolia 'Sprawling Ferns'.

All of the flowers, the lace, the tulle & the Maja Design papers are all from Live & Love Crafts, who have a relaunch sale on til midnight tonight if you want to go shopping for the most beautiful shabby chic & vintage products there is.

Live & Love Crafts DT Card - Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Hello everyone you have me today instead of the lovely Becky, yep the lucky gal is on her Jolly Holly-days ;0)

So the theme this week was to use the new Pion Days Of Winter papers.........let me tell you these are soooooooo darn gorgeous & 100% drool worthy mmmmm.

Now originally for my card I had actually used another LOTV image but when I was about to schedule last night I saw Tracy had used the same image lol...........great minds think alike. Luckily I ALWAYS have LOTV images coloured & at the mo I have a few crimbo oones too ;0)

I lurve blues on christmas cards, I have to say its probably one of my fave crimbo colours...........I even have blue & silver on my crimbo tree lol.

Can you see the beautiful lace.........I could spend ages looking & drooling over the laces that Sandy stocks........I wish I had the money to buy it all & lots of it lol.

I added lots of frantage to this card, shabby white on the Bark Star. On the snowflake edge I used Shabby Blue & the little Snowflakes I used Shabby White. I also added Gesso here & there. For some reason the fir cones have come up very dark in this pic :0(

This is the inside, I have not put anything there to write on yet as I wanted to show you the gorgeous scene, isn't it soooooo pretty!!! I have inked the edges with pumice & as always machine stitched all the layers.

I made a banner myself using a LOTV sentiment stamp & a scrap piece of Maja Design paper. I also added Gesso around the edge for the snow effect. The little bottle I added micro beads in, its what I call magical christmas dust & I attached 2 very small bells ;0)

 I have used the same technique the lovely Elise uses on some of her cards. I have used LOTV 'Snow Family' which is one of my favourite crimbo stamps tbh, I love this one soooo much!! I stamped the image with Versamark then embossed with white powder then coloured with distress markers. Its a bit like coloured a lightened image when doing the no lines effect so I recommend having a stamped image next to it for comparison. Of course I also added lots of glitter.

I made tags from the small images, these are both Magnolia Doo-Hickey tags & I've added Pion images to both as well as seam binding, lace & of course a charm on each ;0) Of course the tags slide into a small mini bag. There is also a doily under there some where :0/ The sentiments are both LOTV 'Christmas Handwritten Phrases'.

Sandra has re-opened her gorgeous store today, go pop on over to see her fabulous newly designed website..........I had to take a peek before doing my post. Its gorgeous & suits the style of the shop to a tee..........so beautiful just like the stuff she sells.

Go on have a good shop.........especially if you are like me & are now suffering withdrawal from the website being offline..............it was like being without the internet, being without caffeine............being without craft stuff!!!!!!! arggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!! Its ok though as its back online.......phew I can go get my fix now;0)

Okie doke I'm away now, sorry I have run late today we've had a builder here to do measurements for my daughters bathroom............yep that will teach me to schedule wont it...
