CAS Xmas Cards For Natalie's Friends

Hello everyone are you getting ready for big jolly fella in red? I'm excited although stressed as well, worrying as always if everything is going to be done & ready...........I do it every single year. Oh worst part is I've got food shopping to do yet..................aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Anyhoo's I thought I would show you the cards I made for Natalie's group/class at her daycare centre. The groups are small, luckily for me lol, so all I had to do was 9 cards. So I went & got some digi images that would not take me as long to colour............... & grabbed the perfect paper pad with fab colours ;0)

90% of these images are the DigiStamp Boutique thanks to my lovely blogging/DT buddy Lisa who makes fabulous cards & therefore drove me to purchasing these images ;0)

Seriously though they are fab for those quick makes, especially for people like me who normally take 3-5 hours to make a card, thats not counting how long it takes me to colour an image.

This cute snowman is called 'Sketchy Snow Person' & is seriously so easy to colour I used him 3 times. However as I dont like making the same card twice each one is coloured differently.

These 2 have very similar papers so just thought I would show you that they are in fact different, so still each card is unique & not repeated exactly ;0)

These 2 images are the ones I saw on Lisa's Blog & what made me go over & spend my pennies lol. Look how cute they are ;0)

The image with the spotty paper is 'Cute Polar Bear' & the one on the right is 'Festive Hug' & I added drops of snow with white enamel.

These images are the 'Cute Christmas Frames', I love how they pop out of the frame a little, especially the snowman ;0)

Ok now this image I fell in love with but its from a different digi shop & one I havn't used for soooooooo long. However when I went over & saw all her yummy images...........well lets say this isn't the only one that went into my bastket lol.

This image is 'Hedgehogs Kiss' from Di's Digi Stamps. I also added glitter & snow drops.

I had to use pink card behind the cards to show them as the white was blending in with the white background of my photo booth lol.

The insides on these are blank as they are quick & simple makes.

Ok products used were Card Blanks & red & green card from my stash. I used a Martha Stewart around the page punch to do the fancy edges top & bottom of the red card. The sentiment is the same on all of them & its LOTV 'Handwritten Christmas Phrases'. The paper pad I love because of the colours, its perfect for younger peeps I think........... its MME 'Mistletoe Magic'. All images were coloured with Copics, sorry I didnt write the colours down as I basically grabbed a load & threw them on my kitchen table & set to colouring lol.

Well thats it from me for now............or until I get time to come back on again lol. I actually meant to post these yesterday but had last minute christmas present shopping to do & other stuff that by the time I finished I ended up in a dark room with a migraine lol.

So I will be round though this morning & later today sometime............family day today, my fave day of the week. Hopefully Natalie is up to going out as it was after 5am this morning before she settled in her bed. Yes I've told her santie is watching her. If not everyone will just come here so its all good anyways lol.

Crafty Little Fairies DT Card

Good morning lovelies, how are you all? Are you all surviving these awful winds we are having in the UK..........here on the North East coast its blooming freezing, but then it always is tbh lol.

Anyhoo's peeps its time for another challenge over at Crafty Little Fairies & this one is the last before christmas, so the fairies have joined ranks & made something that we hope will inspire you to join in with us. So the theme from the Pink & Blue Fairies is.............

ANYTHING GOES

...........how much easier could you ask for this time of year.

I've made a Christmas Card for my cousin who lives 200 miles from me, down in Staffordshire.

The uber gorgeous papers are MME 'Lost & Found Christmas' & I've inked the edges & machine stitched them. I soooooo love this pad, its prob my fave MME pad EVER!!!

The pretty tulle is Melissa Frances 'Cream Pouf Ribbon' & the lace across the top is also 

Melissa Frances.

Here is the inside & the 2 sentiments (I added 2 together to form the greeting) are from LOTV 'Handwritten Phrases'. I also added more Melissa Frances 'Lace Trim' & Marianne design tree.

The 'Pearl Trim', 'Scalloped Pearls' & the Flowers are all from WOC.

The totally gorgeous stamp is 'Santa' by LOTV I've never coloured a deer before & I'm not great at animals but this image I sooooooooo enjoyed colouring......will use it a LOT next year ;0)

The image has been coloured with 'Copics' & I added Snow Dots with a Pearl Pen & Stardust Stickles to his fur on his clothes.

The wording is Dovecraft Wooden wording which I've covered in glitter & the tags are LOTV 'Sentiment Tags'.

Hello everyone how are you all? I have scheduled this post this morning as its easier doing the post the night before when Payton is in bed lol. This morning our little Arjay will be having his operation, fingers crossed he recovers better than last time poor little fella.

The card I have today is a card I made for Natalie's taxi driver & escort, Jim & Debbie who take her day-care every day. After the fiasco of the last taxi driver who we sacked, Jim & Debbie are just fabulous & Natalie loves them both..........the cool thing is they are husband & wife. I think its fab when husband & wife work together, there is a lot that cant spend that much time together, which is a shame.

Anyway here is their card..........

I inked this stamp up a couple of weeks ago & she has been sitting on my desk waiting patiently lol. I haven't put too much foofiness on as I dont know what they like & tbh I'm just hoping they like the card.

I added a Dovecraft Wooden 'noel' word which I covered in Rock Candy stickles then added Ranger Rock Candy dry glitter over the top. The lace & ribbon is from my stash, I lurve the lush colour of the ribbon :0)

This is the inside which as always is decorated to compliment the front. Dies used are Joy Crafts

 'Frame Square' & Marianne Design 'Reindeer'.

The dies added to the front are Magnolia Paris Nights (lamp-post) & the tree is Marianne Design.

The stamp is 'The Day Before Xmas Noel Tilda' from the Winter Wonderland 2013 collection. I coloured her with 'Copics' & I added White Flower Soft under her feet to mimic snow.

I didnt write the colours I used but I can tell what they are.......... ;0)

I also fran-taged around the image with Shabby white & 'Aged Rose'.

The gold star in the centre of the bow is from my stash & I added shabby white fran-tage to it. The gorgeous paper is Pion 'Christmas Flower', i inked the edges with Walnut distress ink & machine stitched them.

Well thats it from me its actually 2am as I'm finishing this & Natalie is just finally settling off to sleep, so hopefully we can sleep now, fingers crossed. Will be back tomorrow with my CLF DT card & I will update you on how Arjay is doing.

Hello everyone how are you all? Well its busy busy busy for everyone I think lol. I'm barely getting chance to craft let along blog, today has been the 1st time I've been on my blog since my last post. I've actually done some crafting today though as I have sooooooo many things still to make eeeekkkk!!!

Yeah panicking & getting stressed a wee bit now lol.

A good note though as on friday 13th we got our new van yayyyyy. We currently have a Renault Traffic with wheelchair access for Natalie, it has a ramp on the back to push her into the van. This I cannot do as she's sooooo heavy. However we have now got the Renault Master which is soooooo much bigger & has an electric tail-lift.........its so much bigger it doesnt go under our car port properly :0)

However its sooooo much better for Natalie, we took her out in it for the day on Sunday & I think she loved it more than us lol.

Anyhoo's I'm babbling on. I'm here with a CAS card...........yes me but its a case I must. This one is for the day-care centre that Natalie goes to. Although she hasn't been today as she was up most of the night so it wasn't fair to send her when she would be really tired. She's going tomorrow though, fingers crossed as she has a Christmas Jumper competition :0)

See I told you........its def clean & simple for me lol. I scalloped the edges with a Martha Stewart punch. I used white card & a burgundy card.........which is showing up really dark here :0( I cut them all to size then punched the scalloped edge & layered them up.

The stamp is Creative Expressions Ornate Bauble stamp & I heat embossed it with a dark red. The sentiment in the middle is LOTV & I added bit of stickles in red tinsel I think it might be called. Excuse the pics as the glitter is still wet.........I normally always wait til it dries before taking pics, sorry :0(

The top white card I embossing with the snow folder. I added gorgeous velvet ribbon, made a small bow & added a 'Heart Shaped Pearl' to the centre of the bow. 

Well thats it from me I better go as I've got my grand-daughter to bath. Payton is staying here tonight as Arjay goes into hospital again tomorrow morning...........yes again. He's having his hhips done.............yes AGAIN!!! The doc looked at the scan pics just under 2 weeks ago & decided that although he was happy with his hip placement he's now not. So our little fella has got go through it all again a week before christmas.

Crafty Little Fairies DT Card

Hello everyone how are you all? Well I'm here today with my first DT card for Crafty Little Fairies & this week we have a super easy theme for you..........

LET IT SNOW

.............see how easy peasy is that!!!! Even Thicky Vicky here finds that easy ;0)

I made my card last week with an image I had coloured up for weeks!! Yep weeks & finally these cute lil snow-guys have gotten onto a card.

Aren't these just the cutest little snow-guys............ I've also used LOTV 'Winter Wishes' by Nitwit.

Wouldn't you love to have these guys sitting in your back garden.

The poinsettia is from Marianne die & I added a Resin flower from MCH to the centre. The tag is LOTV 'Christmas Sentiment Tag'. Also added a Magnolia lampost.

This is the inside with lace from my stash & gorgeous silk crush ribbon............so love this stuff. The frame is Joy Crafts.

Added the same lace & ribbon to the front & the Joy Crafts frame got frantaged with shabby white.

The gorgeous cute image is LOTV 'Snow Family' coloured with distress markers. I also added stickles & stardust glitter to the snow at the bottom. The fence is Magnolia doo-hickey with added white gesso.

The snowflake is Spellbinders & I added white gesso. The pearl flat backed string is from WOC. I made a bow with the silk crush ribbon & added a 'Bark Star' & added a Love Heart pearl to the centre & another LOTV sentiment tag. You can get Silk Crush ribbon here.

Hello peeps I'm running mega late today. I've been up nearly all night but by 8am I was shattered so went bed for a couple of hours & hubster took over. However I completely forgot to schedule my post.

Anyhoo's todays post is about a fundraiser Krista is doing where you donate money & you get this image......................it will NOT be the shop after!!!

...................isn't this image just gorgeous!! This is a limited offer to raise money, so once the fundraiser is over this image will never be on sale & will be retired...........now you wouldn't want to miss it....would you?

I will put the links at the bottom of my post for the fundraiser.

I made a bow with 'Shabby Seam Binding' & 'Cheese Cloth' & added a 'Shabby Bark Star' to the centre with added gesso. The charm is from my stash & really cant remember where I got it from :0(

The postcard is from a stamp from my stash & the postage stamp on the postcard is by Whimsy Mini Postage stamp which I've had forever lol. The bronze charmy thing is from my stash & I've had it for a couple of years, no idea where from. Flowers are from WOC.

The gorgeous 'Backpack Friends' image has been coloured with Copics & I added a Whimsy Postage stamp in the corner & machine stitched.

I will add the colours used as soon as I find the list............

The super yummy gorgeous paper is my fave brand Maja Design & this one is 'Vintage Autumn Basics No.XXII' the edges were distressed a little, inked with walnut & machine stitched. This sheet is so gorgeous especially for those like me who lurve blues on cards..... 

Under the image I added 'Cheese Cloth', also the Shabby Seam Binding & Lace are from LLC. At the top is a clock from a Marianne Creatable die & I stamped it with Magnolia's Postcard Stamp. The butterfly is from Etsy.

My Crafty Heart DT Card

Hello everyone, guess what its the weekend wooo hoooo. Thanks for the positive thoughts regarding Arjay with his tests. There was a big chance that our lil man was deaf as you could make loud bangs & he wouldnt even blink, not even when a doctor stood behind him & banged on his desk. However his tests have come back satisfactory, although at first they thought he was deaf in one ear. So this is good news up to now, yayyyyyyyyy...... do you know what that means............ he really likes my singing!! He always smiles when I sing to him....... lol.

Anyhoo's onto my quickie card that I have for you today using goodies from My Crafty Heart.

I have used a Magnolia stamp from last years collection Christmas Story (possibly my fave collection) this one is 'Tilda On The Roof' coloured with copics.

The gorgeous papers are from 2 MME pads. The main papers are from MME 'Lost & Found Christmas' & the piece of paper with Merry on it is from MME 'Vintage Christmas'. All papers have been inked & machine stitched.

The banner is LLLC 'Heart Banner' & I added pearls from my stash & letters from Maja Design 'Die Cut Letters'.

I added gorgeous MF 'Lace Trim' up the side. The plaited one on top is from my stash. The large flower is also from my stash. The dies I've used are MB 'Snowflake Border' & MB 'Fresh Foliage' . The gems are 

MME 'Faceted Christmas Gems'.

There is a big sale over at My Crafty Heart so why not get over & do some crimbo shopping. 

Saturated Canary rubber stamps are only £6...........yes £6. There are many other bargains over there too.

Saturated Canary DT Card

Hello everyone how are you all? My brain is like mush this week if I'm not forgetting things, I'm forgetting about things............honestly my brain is screwed. Now I'm running a tad late with this post, I've had an Occupational Therapist here with an Architect & I'm babysitting Payton so its been busy.

Anyhoo's onto the job in hand. Ok so another fortnight has gone by & its time for a new challenge over at Saturated Canary & the theme this fortnight is...........

UNTRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLOURS

...........I lurve untraditional colours so loved this challenge.

I have gone for one of my fave colours on crimbo cards, well actually on any card lol, Violets ;0)

The papers I've used are Websters from my stash, they are not even christmas papers...........yep totally untraditional lol. I inked & stitched them as always.

The snowflake is from Asda last year & I'm making sure they get used this year lol, they really are so pretty though. The chipboard snowflake is from my stash & I added shabby white fran-tage & a bit of

  Wine Fran-Tage.

I have cut a Marianne Creatable Village & covered it with glass glitter, its lush & sparkly IRL.

The gorgeous image is 'Nikki' & I cropped her & coloured her with copics & added shabby white fran-tage.
