Copic Marker Europe DT Card - Tara

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Yayyyy its the weekend I soooooooo love weekends I get to spend lots of time with all my family...........what more could I ask for :0)

Todays card is for the Copic Marker Europe blog. Now most of you know my 2 most favourite things to colour are faces/skin & hair I could sit & colour these all day long, these never stress me out, never worry me & I find them so relaxing to do. Everyone has a favourite thing they like to colour, these are mine.

As you know I had a huge love of Sweet Pea stamps as well as Hannnah Lynn but I havnt done a Sweet Pea stamp for sooooooooooo long, well they have now gone digital woooooo hooooooo I lurve digi images the most. So I went over, (yes its took me a while to find out they have gone digital lol) & brought a few images. 

My 2 fave artists over there are Ching-Choux Kuik & Karen Middleton, I love her faces thats she draws. This one is by Karen Middleton & is called 'Tara', isnt she so beautiful!!

I have used 2 of the new dies from MB, LOVE these ones the most I think ;0) I've used 'Fresh Foliage' & cut it out with white card & dabbed Gesso all over it to give it texture. I also cut out 2 of

 'Forget Me Not Stem' in a sage green card.

I decorated inside to compliment the front, I also kept all the flowers neutral so the image would be the main focus. I added a 'Metal Corner' which I painted with white Gesso.

I have added beautiful white & sage green lace from my stash, the green is showing its true colour though for some reason. I also stamped the sentiment in Ivy green.

This pretty lady was of course coloured with Copics, colours used are........

Face - E13, E21, E00, E000, E0000, Cheeks R20 & Lips R85

Hair - C9, C7, C5, C3, C2, C0

Leaves YG97, YG93, YG91 & Blender pen to lighten bits of them.

I also added White Liquid Pearls to the berries.

The background around her was done with G000 & the Blender pen.

I matted her onto a Spellbinders die which was cut out of grey card & then dabbed with White Gesso.

Papers used are Pion Studio Of Memories 'Collage & Ring Of Roses' & I inked all the edges with Weathered Wood DI. Papers are light to let the image again be the main focus.

Papertake Weekly GDT Card - Tie Up Your Loose Ends

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Sorry I've been missing in action for few days I've had severe withdrawal from a certain pill I'm on as the prescription didnt get done last week, so I had to go 4 days without, so its been a weekend of suffering. I tried go down Ben & Megans on sat as I dont like letting the kids down but ended up back at home an hour later & in bed for the afternoon.

Anyhoo's I did manage to finally make my GDT last night for the new challenge over at

 Papertake Weekly, this week its.............

TIE UP YOUR LOOSE ENDS - add a bow

A fab challenge & come on who doesnt like bows ;0)

Now you know when you have an idea in your head, yeah well this didnt turn out the way I wanted it to, but its starting to grow on me...........I think lol.....

No image cus its hard to colour with the shakes, funny though lol. This is a 'Thank you' card for Ben & Megan give to their nanna (my step-mum) as she has helped them out with moving. I'm putting a thankyou verse on the inside.

I just went with dies, flowers & of course a bow.

The die underneath the flowers is a new die MB 'Lavish Branch' & I added 2 cus I loved it so much ;0)

Also added Marianne 'Corner', love this corner die I think its my fave corner die ;0)

Papers are MME & the key charm is from.............no idea lol, I think maybe Ebay... Also added

 'Cheese cloth' & some 'Jute fabric' for a bit of texture.

I used Cheery Lynn 'Birdcage' die & then drew around the die on some music backing paper to put behind it, raised it up a bit & added a MME brad to the top. I also cut out Marianne 'Bird On Branch' die. The button & ribbon are from my stash. Inside of course was decorated as always.

Saturated Canary DT Card - Sitting at the movies....

Good afternoon all you lovely jubbly people, how are you all? Do you have snow still? My goodness its so slippy up here, its very rare we get it living so close to the sea. You should see all the kiddies on their sledges its fab seeing them with their rosy cheeks & big smiles..............

Anyhoo I'm back again with another DT card, yep busy week this week lol. This one of course is for Saturated Canary Challenges, is it really a week since I did "£1 Fish" lol......gosh its going quick.

Ok so lats challenge was songs, this one is another fab one chosen by our lovely Mindy.....

Inspired By A Movie........

I had sooooooo many idea's running through my head but then had to go with this cute couple..........

Can you guess the film???????? lol............yes of course you can 'My Girl', are you singing the song yet as well? I had it in my head the whole time I was making this card ;0)

The papers are my favourite papers Glitz 'Pretty In Pink' I love this pads so so much, its my absolute fave!!

I made a double bow with pink seam binding from my stash & attached this most gorgeous

 Prima 'Zipper Pull', if you click on the photo you can see it says 'Love' on the zip pull & then the hanging charm says 'You'.

Doily is from my stash, flowers from WOC & I added 'Elegant Scrollwork' die & MF 'Pearls'.

This cute couple is of course one of Krista's new release digi images, 'Puppy Love', have you ever seen a sweeter, cuter couple!!!

They were coloured with copics & prisma pencils & the background was also coloured with copics.

I also added a 'Heart' pearl to the image ;0)

I added 'Vintage Birdcage' die with another MF 'Pearl' & gorgeous 'Jolie' lace. Inside was also decorated & there is another heart doily in there ;0) I used my Dynamo thingy-ma-jig for the sentiment.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card

Hello again my lovelies, this is my 2nd post today, look below if you would like to see my Crafts & Me card. I went for a fasting blood test yesterday as my last blood test showed my sugar was low, anyhoo's it ended up being an expensive blood test, which cost me £50!! The nurse had a gorgeous pair of Adidas boots on that I soooooooo had to have............they are lush ;0)

Anyhoos enough of my babble its time for a new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's & this week we have a fabby them for you.........

PINK, PEARLS & RIBBON

I've inked up another of the stamps from the new collection ;0)

I really enjoyed making this card, its kinda shabby chic which I sooooooooo adore :0)

The papers are the ever so yummy MME 'Lost & Found - Blush' this is still one of my all time fave pads!!! All edges were inked & matted onto kraft coloured card. I also added 'Cheese Cloth'.

I made a tag using my new doo-hickey 'So wrapped lovely' die & attached a metal 'Handmade' plaque & some bakers twine. The bottom corner is the Magnolia 'Postcard' stamp which is stamped on the inside.

The stamp is 'Tilda with little pocket' & she was coloured with copics & prisma pencil. I also added spica pen to the flowers for bit of sparkle & I added dots using white Liquid Pearls.

I also used the 'Postcard' stamp & made a cabochon with the postal mark & attached it to the centre of the bow that was made with Silk Crushed ribbon, this stuff is so pretty.

All the flowers are from WOC, & I added Marianne 'Heart' dies to the front & inside. I've had quite a few emails to ask what the frame is that I've used here that Tilda sits on & its Marianne Creatables Large Oval by Petra.

Magnolia Down Under - Flowers

Crafts & Me DT Card - Something New

Hello I'm running mega late today everything ran late yesterday we didnt finish moving Ben & Megan til 9pm last night, still got bit more to move today & clean the house. Cus things didnt go to plan Payton stayed here last night cus her cot wasnt set up. So I've not even had time to look at my comments from yesterday..........I will make time later though.

So quickly here is my card for a new challenge over at Crafts &Me Challenges & this week the theme is...

SOMETHING NEW

Basically use something new.

I didnt have time to colour an image as I was shattered so I took the easy route & went vintage again ;0)

The stamp I've used is 'Marilyn Seated' by Stampsmith from Crafts & Me Store. I stamped it & then heat embossed it with UTEE, just one layer though to make it look old & then distressed around the edges just a little.

I added beautiful 'Tulle Pleat' trim & 'Organza Rose' trim over the top.

Flowers are all from WOC & I added a 'Metal Corner' & a 'Doily' & a Marianne 'Clock' die.

My something new is Pion papers, this sheet is 'Studio of Memories' & I inked all the edges & as always decorated inside to compliment the front.

Well thats it from me but I will be back when I can with my Midweek Magnolia card. I've have Payton again & I'm hoping today she will take a nap, she didnt yesterday at all.........wish I had her energy lol.

Papertake Weekly GDT Card- Baby its cold outside

Good morning my lovelies, how are you all? Well for the 1st time this winter us here by the sea have snow, I've had to keep kids off school. Typical we get snow when we are helping Ben & Megan move house today..........so I'm babysitting Payton & Natalie & the youngest is helping his dad load the van ;))

Well its time for a new challenge this week over at Papertake Weekly & the themem this week, aptly called.............

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

.........yea it is, I'm sitting here in the conservatory looking at my snow covered garden lol.

I decided to go vintage again as I want to do more vintage & shabby chic this year, I dont like to do the same kind of thing & I'm worried about getting stuck in a rut, so you will be seeing different things this year ;0)

All the flowers are from WOC & I added 'Holly' underneath out of kraft & gave it a light dose of 'Snowtex'. I also added white 'Pearl String' in amongst the flowers.

I made a double bow with 'Shabby Seam Binding' & attached 2 silver bells which I covered in 'Snowtex' & added a 'Scalloped Pearl' to the centre. I covered a silver 'Metal Corner' with 'Snowtex' too.

I cut out these tags from the papers I used & cut out the letters & popped foam squares beneath them to make them pop out that little bit more. 

I also added  a strip of 'Jute' fabric but twisted it & doused it with 'Snowtex',  I also added 'Jolie' lace underneath.

If you click this pic you should be able to see where I have twisted the 'Jute' fabric. The bead trim is from my stash so is the wooden snowflake which again got snowtex treatment & I added this fab 'Let It Snow' charm.

The image is from the Pion range & this image is from the sheet  'Fairytale Of Winter' I so struggle when it comes to choosing an image as they are all so so gorgeous. I also added snowtex in places so add a bit extra snow ;0)  I have also used Pion paper Silent Night

 'Nativity Scene' & inked the edges. Sooooooooo love Pion papers..........you can hear my sobs everytime I cut into it :0( I also added a 'Doily' & some 'Cheese Cloth' underneath there somewhere lol.

I will be around to see you all, although it may be a bit sporadic as I've got Payton & Natalie so will only be able to use my lappy at certain times.............when Payton is alseep lol, she likes to press all the keys, also when we have an Ipad or a laptop in our hands we usually have to go onto You Tube to watch her

 favourite video.........she is sooooooooo my grandaughter she loves any music with a beat ;0)

She even says 'Again' when it finishes & when you say again she says 'Yeah'.........I could eat her up she is so darn cute..........she is my yummy bear lol ;0)

Card Mania GDT - Oh So Girly

Good morning everyone have you all had a good weekend? Ours has been hectic Payton certainly kept us on our toes but tbh we absolutely loved it........bit hard to say who keeps us up most at night Natalie or Payton mmmmm toughie lol.

Ok so I'm here today with a GD spot today for Card Mania, yes I was extremely honoured to be their 'Guest In The Spotlight' & their challenge this time is...........
'Oh so girly...........'
I decided to use one of my much neglected stamps as I am determined to get them used more this year, no its not a resolution...........I daren't push myself that much lol ;0)
Also this is the 1st bag I made for the tags which was too big, so now its a gift bag lol.

I've used one of my hanglars, cant remember what she is called though sorry. She is coloured with copics & prisma pencils.

I used a Go-Kreate die to cut the shape, I used the smallest one in this pack.

I used Marianne Creatables 'Clocks & Hands' die & added an MME brad to the centre.

I made a double bow with seam binding &; attached a large blingy button, every girl likes her bling ;0)

I cut the Joy Crafts 'Border' die in half & attached half to each side & attached a button & 

 'Scalloped Pearl'. Under this I also attached the handle which is 3 lengths of seam binding plaited together. If you enlarge the pic you may be able to see better.

The paper I've used is Magnolia 'Arrow Heart' & I inked the edges. All the flowers are WOC & I've added Marianne Creatables 'Tiny flowers 1' die & also there is a piece of  'Jute' fabric underneath going across the middle.

My Crafty Heart DT Card

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Sorry I've been missing in action I've been ill with Pancreatitis again so barely even been on my laptop, so I'm sorry if I'm late back replying to emails I will catch up today. I'm also looking after payton this weekend as Ben & Megan are moving to a new house thats 3 mins walking distance from us so they are closer. So while they decorate ready to move in on tuesday we are having Payton.........ok so I told them I was well ssshhhhh dont tell them ok!!

Anyhoos I'm here today with My Crafty Heart DT Card & I've coloured a Sugar Nellie image, I know I havnt done one for so long, this I coloured in a couple of days after release.

Yes I got a couple of these new adorable's which are so rightly named dont you think? She is called 'Sophia' & of course is a digi image from Funky Kits.

The papers are the gorgeous MME 'Paris & Co', I still love this pad, although it is nerly all gone :0(

I've used Blue 'Serenade' flowers & 2 'Silentium' flowers. I added 'Anja Leaves' die, 'Anja Corner' die & 'Vintage Birdcage' die & I added a 'Songbird' Tile on the top.

I coloured the beautiful image with copics & prisma pencils, although these are easier to colour I end up working harder to add my own shading...........yea they dont get much weirder than me ;0)

I also added 2 small 'Pearls' to her hair.

I added 'Pearls' to the corners of the card as well. The raffia trim along the middle is from my stash, I cant remember where I originally got it.
