My Crafty Heart DT Card

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Sorry I've been missing in action I've been ill with Pancreatitis again so barely even been on my laptop, so I'm sorry if I'm late back replying to emails I will catch up today. I'm also looking after payton this weekend as Ben & Megan are moving to a new house thats 3 mins walking distance from us so they are closer. So while they decorate ready to move in on tuesday we are having Payton.........ok so I told them I was well ssshhhhh dont tell them ok!!

Anyhoos I'm here today with My Crafty Heart DT Card & I've coloured a Sugar Nellie image, I know I havnt done one for so long, this I coloured in a couple of days after release.
Yes I got a couple of these new adorable's which are so rightly named dont you think? She is called 'Sophia' & of course is a digi image from Funky Kits.

The papers are the gorgeous MME 'Paris & Co', I still love this pad, although it is nerly all gone :0(

I've used Blue 'Serenade' flowers & 2 'Silentium' flowers. I added 'Anja Leaves' die, 'Anja Corner' die & 'Vintage Birdcage' die & I added a 'Songbird' Tile on the top.

I coloured the beautiful image with copics & prisma pencils, although these are easier to colour I end up working harder to add my own shading...........yea they dont get much weirder than me ;0)
I also added 2 small 'Pearls' to her hair.

I added 'Pearls' to the corners of the card as well. The raffia trim along the middle is from my stash, I cant remember where I originally got it.

Ingredients used...........
MME 'Paris & Co' papers
Prima 'Serenade' blue flowers
Prima 'Silentium Tea Thyme' flowers
Melissa Frances Pearls
Marianne Creatables 'Anja Levaes' die
Marianne Creatables 'Anja Corner' die
Memory Box 'Vintage Birdcage' die
Prima 'Songbird' tiles
All the above ingredients are of course from My Crafty Heart.

I made the card with A4 dark brown card to help set off the kraft card that I used for matting.

Pop on over to Teresa's store she has a fab sale on & some new lovely MB dies due in very soon :0)

Okie dokie my lovelies I'm gonna have a bloggy hobble along......cant really hop lol, & come visit you all while my darling grandaughter is asleep. She fell asleep on her grandad bless her.

Midweek Magnolia's - Tilda On A Tag

Good morning all you lovelies out there, I'm running a wee bit late this morn as I have just got back from school run & forgot to do my post last night.
Its time for a new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's & this weeks theme is a fabby one......
TILDA ON A TAG.
Actually it doesn't have to be Tilda, it could be Edwin, or a cute animal...........as long as you have a Magnolia image on a tag then come join in the fun.
I have made something inspired from the uber talented Jane what I remember seeing in my first year of crafting. Sorry cant link to the actual post as it was about 2 years ago, I dont remember the colour or anything except it was christmas themed (I think lol) anyway it was fab, so this is what I've made ;0)
PIC HEAVY!!!
I made a gift tag holder, so I always have gift tags on hand whenever needed. The first one I made I did a different shape & too big, the tags got lost in it lol, you will see that next week ;0) So I made a circle one using my largest circle & scallope circle dies..........

Flowers are, Cream Carnation & 2 Pink Fabric Daisies & Magnolia Creamy Berries & die cut leaves.

Stamps I've used are 'Tilda With Love Music' (on front as well), 'Tilda With Dot Bow' (although its hidden lol) & my fave 'Tilda With Heart Socks', will explain why she is my fave another time ;0)

I also did some tags using 'Chocolate' stamp.........had to have this one ;0)

I also added one to the back of the gift tag holder. Tag dies used are Magnolia 'Scalloped Tag' &
Magnolia 'Vintage Tag', my fave tag '0) I also added 2 Scalloped Pearls.

I added more Scalloped Pearls either side & cut the end off a Joy Crafts die-cut & attached some gorgeous 'Ash Rose' Shabby Seam Binding.

The papers are the new Magnolia 'Dream Roses' & I inked the edges. I also added 'Cheesecloth' under the tag on the front. All images were of course coloured with my copics.

I really enjoyed making & designing this & will make more, maybe larger though for other things lol.

Do pop on over to see my uber talented teamies cus after their wee christmas break they have come back with a bang!!!

Right I have loads of blogging to catch up on so will see you soon. Thank you for stopping by & hope you liked what you have seen today ;0)

Hello everyone how are you all?  I need go B&Q for some paint as its time to do some decorating.............old with the old in with the new as they say..........
Talking of new thats the theme over at Papertake Weekly Challenge this week...........
Happy New ...............
...............create something 'New' whether it be Happy New Year, New baby, new job, or even use a new product..........I went with the new product as I got so many of these for christmas.
This is the card that I made for Payton's birthday (2nd January) off her auntie Natty & Uncle Jake..
Sorry about the pics these were taken before my new bulbs arrived as obviously I no longer have the card to re-take the photo's............my next ones will be better ;0)
I lurve gingham & Payton has it on quite a few things in her bedroom so I just had to include it on her card didn't I ;0) I added pink lace underneath as well & a sewn a nice blingy button to the bow.

This is the inside which I decorated spellbinders Marvelous Squares, I love this die!! I also added a Heart from the Marianne die.

The stamp is of course a new one from Magnolia's 'With Love' collection, I sooooooooooo love this collection... This is 'Tilda With Dot Bow' & I coloured her with copics then fussy cut her & popped her onto foam squares so she could lie along the letters :0)

I also added Spellbinders 'Flourish Trim' from their D-Lites collection.
The letters & numbers I've had since I started crafting so cant remember where they are from, they are Woodware though...........it says on the back lol.

The papers I've used are Magnolia 'Pink Butterfly' & the bottom 'Hearts' one I cant find, sorry. I added MF 'Pearls' to each corner & added some 'Cheesecloth' ;0) I didnt want a load of embellishments on as it would have distracted the eye too much.........some things call for less foofiness dontcha think lol.

Ingredients used.............
Magnolia 'Tilda with dot bow' - Sir Stamp A Lot
Magnolia Papers - Sir Stamp A Lot
Spellbinder D-Lites 'Flourish Trim' - My Crafty Heart
Melissa Frances 'Pearls' - My Crafty Heart
Cheesecloth - Live & Love Crafts
Ribbon, lace & button from my stash.

Happy Birthday Ben

Hello everyone how are you all? Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I'm sorry there was nothing on my blog yesterday we had a complete family day so apart from answering a couple of emails I didnt use my lappy.
Payton walked the width of my conservatory last night more than 15 steps on her own, proud grnadma moment going on here :0) We were all clapping for her & everything she got so excited bless her lol.

Anyway I thought I would show you the card I made for Bens birthday, as most of you know he is an apprentice plumber............ ;0)
Isn't this image the coolest............as soon as I saw it I brought it straight away its perfect for Ben, dont forget the plumber's bum lol (yep its not just builders lol)

The tag I made cut out the sentiment from the DP'S & attached it to a 'Trinket Pin', if you knew Ben you would understand why this sentiment is perfect.

The papers are the gorgeous Lost & Found 'Breeze', I love this pad really need to get another one.

The company Ben works for is a large housing company, one of the largest in the North East & on the side of all the work vans it says 'Making The Difference'..............so I had to write it on the side of the image lol.

The fabulous image is from Just Inklined & is called 'DIY King' I coloured the image with copics & added Glossy Accents to the water to give it that realistic look lol.
I have to say I dont normally enjoy doing male cards but this I thoroughly enjoyed :0) Ben absolutely loved it, so much he wants put it in a frame lol.

Sorry about the poor lighting these were took over a week ago when my bulb had gone grrrrrr. I did make him one off Natalie & Jake as well but forgot to take photo's lol.

Anyway I'm off to come visit you all now before I get back to my DT work. Thank you soooooooo much for stopping by it means the world to me.

Vintage Mothers Day

Hello my lovelies how are you all today?
I'm here today with a card I made a couple of days ago when I saw my lovely teamies card for
Live & Love Crafts Challenge. She inspired me sooooooooo much I made a card straight away, couldnt blog it til today though cus of DT commitments.
I made a Mother's Day card for my step-mum, check how organised I am I even ordered her present online after I finished the card............my new year resolution so far is going well ;0)
Hubster brought me loads of vintage-y items for crimbo, Pion & Maja papers etc. I love vintage, vintage & shabby chic or french chic actually............I would have a home full of this sort of stuff.

Antique brass corner, the postcard I cut out of 'Memories' paper & distressed the edges just a little bit. I made a double bow with seam binding & crinkled it so it didnt look new & added a cabochon I made myself. I added 'Lace' & some gorgeous 'Organza Trim', 2 WOC flowers, the berries are Magnolia & a 'White Poppy' at the bottom.

I added a Tim Holtz paper clip to the postcard & I also added 'Pearl String' to the flowers.

The papers I've used are all Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics,  1932 (you can see some of it under the bow), 1903 & 1905, they have all been inked as well. The image is Pion 'Ladies' from Grandma's Attic range, I got quite a few of these, they are lush. I also attached Pearl Trim around the edge of the image. There is also a small doily from my stash in there somewhere lol & I added a Scalloped Pearl to the corner.

Well thats all from me, as always click on the words in red & they will take you straight to that item ;0)

Thank you lovelies for stopping by I really do appreciate it. See you soon ;0)
Tatty bye for now xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Saturated Canary DT Card - Sing To Me

Hello my lovelies how are you all?
I am here today with my Saturated Canary card, yes its a new challenge & this time its my turn to choose a theme. Now for those who know me you will know that after my family my biggest love is music & dance..........so my theme is..............
'SING TO ME'
..............make something inspired by a song, how easy is that. Now Jan & Feb are busy birthday months for me & I have my step-brothers in 3 weeks time so this is for him. He goes fishing with hubster & is his fave hobby. So I went with a bit of fun for this challenge.........
The song that inspired this is the new internet sensation, the singing fish market man who sings
'ONE POUND FISH' - Muhammad Shahid Nazir lol
The video is below, if you want a laugh then click play. Its one I wont have on my cd but you just gotta laugh at it..........lol
The papers are Websters 'Yacht Club' & I've added a button, which is from MME, sssh we wont tell him its a christmas button ;0)

I have added seagulls, cus where I live we always have seagulls. The sentiment I made myself & then curved & inked it. The hook is a sticker from.............erm cant remember.......lol

6x6 Card Blank is from my stash & I added Jute Fabric across the centre.

The image of course is by Krista 'I Got This Boys' & is a digi image which you can of course get instantly from her shop Saturated Canary for that instant yummy fix.

I have to say I think I giglled my ass off the whole time I made this card, it was fun lol. I'm sure my brother-in-law will like................anything to do with fishing he likes & of course he will enjoy the added humour.

Thank you all so much for Payton's birthday wishes yesterday & our new baby news the day before lol. Thank you for all of your lovely comments you all totally rock. Will be round to see you all soon, take care my lovelies

Hello my lovelies so sorry I'm late today in between sorting out the van which got towed to the garage today & then finally getting a courtesy car delivered to us this afternoon.
Anyway it is my grandaughter's 1st Birthday today Happy Birthday Payton darling......
I cant believe she is a year old already, it doesn't seem so long ago I was telling you about her birth......how time flies by........ Anyway I thought I would show you the birthday card & me & gramps that I made........although at this point it doesnt have the sentiment......

E29, E27 E25, E21

Shading done with prisma pencils & also added Pearl Dots around the image.

Paper I used is Magnolia Apples & Cherries '50's Icecream' & Once Upon A Time 'Pink Starlit', I've had these for soooooo long. I've also inked the edges. I made a double bow with seam binding & attached a  Scalloped Pearl to the centre. Added a chipboard numer 1 & added a few flowers, tried to keep them to a min ;0)

Here is the real sweet thing of the day.............
Payton on her new bike what her mammy & daddy got her, they put it in the car so we could see her on it. We should have gone theirs today but we have no way of getting Natalie over there :0(
This is her daddy bring her up the drive-way, isn't that bike darn cute, they arrived the same time as our courtesy car lol. Thats Craig sorting out the paperwork with the bloke who delivered it. Its not the one with the boot open although I would rather drive that one, thats Ben's car.

So we now have transport for pooping to shops etc we just cant go out as a family cus Natalie cant travel in it. Never mind though its only until next week.

Well thats it from me I will be round to see you all later, I did some last night but then something happened to my blog & blogger took it off until I verified it today. Its never done that before.
Anyway thank you so much for stopping by it means the world. See you all laters my lovelies mmwah

Anyhoo onto my post which is my GDT for Papertake Weekly & this week the challenge is....
ANYTHING GOES........
.........nice easy one to start the new year ;0)
I have used a fabulous Manga type image that was free, I found this through my fab teamie Wenda over at CME, there was loads of awesome ones!!!! This one is 'Venus Goth' & from an artist called Sureya.

I have added a Marianne corner, fab distressed 'Storm Cloud' seam binding & a butterfly cabochon from my stash.

I coloured this fab image with copics........
E13, E21, E00, E000, R22, R20
N7, N5, N3, N1 & Black & White prisma pencils
B97, B95, B93, B91
I also did the white lengths with white gel pen & the laces I did with a blue Stabilo pen.
I soooooooooo enjoyed colouring this & I have a lot more ;0)
Added a gorgeous Prima Flower, a Joy Crafts die cut in half, some antique bronze chain & a key charm, which I cant remember where it was from at the mo :0(

The paper is Glitz 'Vintage Blue' which is on sale at the moment at My Crafty Heart, I inked the edges with dark blue ink & matted onto pale grey card to match the grey tones in the image & papers ;0) Added a couple of Melissa Frances pearls to the corners.

Sorry for the poor photo's I'm really struggling with my lamps, I do have bulbs on order & I made sure to order extra for spares lol. Will be so glad when they are delivered!!

Pop on over to Papertake Weekly to see the other fabulous creations that all the ladies have created.

Thank you for the birthday wishes yesterday, we had a fabulous day. Although our van ended up off the road, hubster went the chemist to pick up Natalie's meds & the power steering went while he was out, was lucky not to crash. RAC came out & the power steering pump is broke so needs a new one, unfortunately cus its new year we have to wait until tomorrow. We are all house bound until then as the van is needed for Natalie's wheelchair so we cant take her anywhere :0(
