Crafts & Me Challenges DT Card

Hello my lovelies how are you? The weather here by the sea is rather cold, in fact we have SNOW!!! We normally get off lighly a lot of the times when the north east gets snow due to us being next to the sea. However we have it the worst today as when hubster took Jake school (about 5 miles away) the roads were clear by the time he got to the school. It does of course make hubster happy ;0)

Anyhoo enough of my babble onto my post today which of course is for Crafts & Me Challenges & this week we have a super duper easy one for you...............

ANYTHING GOES with otional Christmas Ornament

So its 'Anything Goes' which we all love but you have the option to make a christmas ornament, remember tho its 'Optional'

As you can see I took the easy route lol...........actually I have made an ornament but then my mojo went & I  couldn't decide what image to use so I'm gonna use it for a different image, will show it tomorrow.

I added 'Snowtex' to the 'Tree Branch' & added a wooden snowflake on top which has been heat embossed. The 'Reindeer' has also had the snowtex treatment. I added a Whimsy sentiment & some pretty pink lace & dotty ribbon & added a 'Snowman' charm.

The poinsettia is cut from a Marianne die & I've heat embossed it with some Stampendous Shabby Pink embossing powder. I've only recently got this but OMG this stuff peeps is just gorgeous I really wish you could see how beautiful it is, I've gone & ordered the Shabby white so I can see what thats like. Sooooo pretty!!!!!

She was of course coloured with copics & I added dots to her with a white gel pen. I added glitter dust to the whites on her clothes, this pretty lady deserves sparkle.

She is called 'Wintergreen Wishes' by Hannah Lynn.

The gorgeous oh so pretty papers are 'Christmas Memories' by Mindy Baxter & they are a digi set available at her Etsy Store, these are just sooooooooo pretty!!! The die behind the image is of course from Joy Crafts I lurve these dies ;0)

GDT Creation For My Step-mom

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? A few weeks ago I had a lovely email from Sharon asking me if I would like to be Guest Designer for December & January over at

  Papertake Weekly...........well she didnt need ask me twice I am soooooooooo honoured to be guest designer for them wooooooooo hooooooooooo!!

Anyway the new challenge this week is..........

I have designed & made something new for my step-mum as at christmas time we buy her a few small gifts to open on the day but then give her £100.........well what do you buy a woman who has everything more or less....... At least this way she can buy what she wants & likes ;0)

I have used 'Christmas Angel' by the uber talented Krista at Saturated Canary, I sooooooooo love this image & of course I added sparkles to her wings & baubles ;0)

This is a card & gift in one............

This is the inside, the gorgeous digi paper is from the lovely Inger Harding, its so pretty as soon as she released it I brought the whole lot, including the side panels & the tag on the front.

I added 2 corner dies, a reindeer, doilies & some lush lace.

These are the 2 panels either side & I'm going to put a keepsake poem in & some photo's. The corners are open so things can be slotted into them & keep them in place.

This is the pocket I made for the centre & here I can put the money.

It is kept closed by a velcro button.

I wanted the pocket to be expandable so I created a file-type pocket so I'm not restricted as much when putting things in.

All the flowers are from WOC, hubster treated me to a big box full last week bless him.

This is the other side of the tag which also came from the same paper digi set. The wooden snowflake I added some paint, glitter & a glitter pearl to the centre, its so sparkly.

I added 2 organza ribbons to keep it closed. The brackets are a Joy Crafts die which is

 'Middle Fleur-De-Lys' I lurve these dies!!! All the dies I've also inked with Walnut DI.

I really need to say a HUGE sorry for not coming round much but last week all I had was 5 presents eeeekkkkkkk, I have been saving though so the money was in the bank for christmas. So at the weekend I decided to get stuck in & when ever I get chance sit on the net & shop, shop shop!!!!!! Most of my crimbo shopping is done online, thank goodness lol. I have given myself a week to get all of christmas finished with just food shopping to do, so I have til this saturday. I'm doing well so far & I've got Natalie's completely finished & Jake's nearly finished, Payton's is half done :0)

December is so so hectic for everyone so please dont leave a comment if you dont have time I know how busy we all are & know how precious time is at the mo...........I do think we get robbed of hours more in december mind.......think we should get more than 24 hours each day......WE NEED IT!!!!!! lol.

My Crafty Heart DT Card - All That Glitters

Hello everyone how are you all? Thankyou so much for all your lovely messages about Natalie, she is no better but she is no worse either so thats a good thing. I am still angry about the centre doing this & making her so ill, she relies on all those looking after her to keep her warm & safe.........its not like she can say when she's cold. Surely common sense should have prevailed!! Hubster is ringing them tomorrow cus he is more diplomatic than me, when it comes to my family I get really mad & I'm not diplomatic at all............I would end up shouting at them tbh!!

Anyway this is a card I made for My Crafty Heart but I used a Magnolia stamp as this one has been coloured up for ages & thought the colours suited this card tbh lol.

I have kept this sort of on the flat side.....well for me it is lol. The papers are the gorgeous 'Blitzen' by Bo Bunny & I've inked all the edges.

Used a couple of silver bells from my stash, these are so hard for me to use as Minnie hears them & comes running ready to play with them.............how do you explain to a bengal they are not hers lol.

I added lots of sparkle to this card & a few dies..........I sooooooooo love my Ebosser!!!! ;0)

I've added Stickles to the reindeer that is on the paper, this paper really is gorgeous I love it!!

The sentiment I cut from the paper & inked the edges.

This is of course 'Tilda With Snowheart' & she was coloured with copics, I dont remember the colours as she has been coloured up for ages.

I've also added Stickles to the heart & I've added dots of snow using my Snow-writer.

I decorated the inside as always love the paper as its like a little scene inside the card ;0)

I've added 'Tiara' Stickles to parts of the dies & also some Blue Gems.

Sorry for being MIA

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Brrr isn't it so darn cold & we are supposed to have snow on the way, altho some peeps have it already. Better dig out those thermals!!

I'm sorry I've been missing from blogland I do have creations made but havnt had chance take photo's, I will try tonight to take some pics & get them on my blog.

I havnt been in blogland because Natalie is really poorly with her chest again, she was fine on thursday when she went the day care centre. However they did a fire drill not long before home time & they had to take all of them outside. They didnt have time to put a coat on Natalie & then while she was out there her taxi arrived so they still didnt have time to put a coat on her they said, although her taxi driver is lovely & I know he certainly would have waited if need be!!! So she travelled home with the coat just  placed over her. Yesterday she started to burn up really bad & started coughing & wheezing, it took us til 1am this morning to finally get her temperature down but she is so wheezy & constantly needing her inhaler.

To say I'm not impressed is an understatement, I know they need to do these fire drills but this week has been the coldest we have had & for Natalie to go outside without a coat on I think is ridiculous & now she has to suffer with it. She is so poorly bless her so obviously we are keeping her at home for at least this next week & words will be had with the centre!!!! 

I will try get around tonight to see your blogs as I am missing you but it may take me a while catch up with you all :0(

I'm off now to get tea cooked. Can you believe its the 1st December today, my goodness where has this year gone!! However santie will soon be here ;0)

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card - Star Of Wonder

Hello my lovelies how are you all? 

Well this week sees another new challenge over at Midweek magnolia's & this week the fabby challenge is............

STARLIGHT STAR BRIGHT

So basically a christmas card with star/s on it.........simples ;0)

My mojo went on me when making this so I'm not happy but didnt have time to make another one :0(

The gorgeous papers are Mindy's beautiful digi papers which you can get on her Etsy shop, her shop link is in my sidebar.............pop yourself along she has just added new ones.

These ones are from 'Christmas Cookies' I lurve the colours & this one was even more perfect as it has stars ;0)

These Tilda's are my fave Maggies although I'm ashamed to say its took until now to ink one of them up. They have been coloured with copics & I paper pieced one of the dresses. Wings have lashings of glitter on.

The pom-pom trim, ribbon & the silver stars are also from my stash. The sentiment I just printed out on my lappy & aged it a bit.

I cut a star out of burlap & layered another card in kraft on top. From the burlap I added a Tim Holtz Safety Pin & hung a Christmas Charm. I also added stars to the inside.

Crafts & Me DT Card - Santa's Little Helper

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Hope you all had a lovely weekend. The weather is absolutely awful here, we've had nothing but rain & would you believe hubster has gone fishing in it!!! Yep think he's mad!!!

Well I'm here today with my Crafts & Me Store card, I'm a bit late but I'm here lol.

For my card today I've used a gorgeous new rubber stamp by Robin Pushay, this is gonna be my fave Crafts & Me christmas stamp!!!

Isn't this just the sweetest image, as soon as I saw this I fell in love with it!!!

This is 'Santa's Little Helper' & is exclusive to Crafts & Me Store.

Added a 'Snowflake' with a button from my stash & some Gems. Lace & pom-pom trim are from my stash. 

I love how she is standing in a christmas tree, so so cute!!

She is coloured with copics & a touch of prisma pencil in places & I've also added lashings of 2 different glitters, she is lovely & sparkly. I also added pearl dots with my Gold Pearl Pen.

The papers are scraps of MME 12x12 paper. The holly sprig is from my stash & I the sentiment is from a Kaisercraft stamp. Ive kept my foofiness down to a minimun so the image shone out ;0)

Cute Card Thursday - Girls Only

3 Quick & Simple Christmas Cards

Hello all you lubbly jubbly people, how are you all? Guess what its friday woo hoo thank crunchie for that, I sooooooooo love weekends......but then dont we all. Altho they go too quick I reckon we should get a petition together to get a 3-day weekend.........what do ya think?

Anyhoos I have 3 simple & quick christmas to show you, I made all 3 using scraps of 12 x 12 christmas paper I had left from last christmas...........or was it the christmas before???

I think all the papers are a mixture of MME & Pink Paislee christmas.  I've added lace & stringy stuff from my stash.

The sentiment is from my Kaisercraft Turtle Dove christmas stamp set. I gave the holly & berries a light colouring with pencils & added some sparkles. I stamped it in Memento Rich Cocoa.

On the MME set there was also a 12x12 sheet of pop out tags & things, this card is all MME.

I added some burlap under the Merry Christmas tag & pulled out some of the threads to give it a softer edge. With the threads I pulled out I added them to a button from the sheet & added a holly leaf as well.

This is my fave as its kinda vintage-y ;-)

I added lace & ribbon to this one & used my Kaisercraft stamp again. I have ran out of deep red card :0( so I had to colour this card with my copic, was not happy doing that as it slows things down when making cards & uses my ink lol. However at last minute its fine, I have ordered more A4 card today tho ;0)

Now these cards are not super flat but to me they are flat & its still gonna be soooooo much cheaper than posting a card of foofiness in a box ;0) The card blanks I got when I got my Ebosser as I knew they would be handy for quickie cards ;0) Also added spots of a pearl pen on each card, its an addiction that thing is lol.

Saturated Canary DT Card - 50 Shades

Hello all my lovelies how are you?

Gosh these weeks are really flying by now arn't they can you believe its time for a new challenge over at Saturated Canary already...... We have a nice easy one this time our lovely Lou has designed a sketch pop on over to see the yummy sketch.

I have used some more of the new release Saturated Canary stamps by the talented Krista, you get these 2 stamps together so I thought I would use them together, arnt they fabulous. I love these as they could be used for female & male cards............oooh la la

The top corner is a gorgeous Marianne die, I've also added Prima flowers & a Marianne corner. Seam binding & lace from my stash. The gorgeous charm was a gift from a lovely friend 2 christmasses ago.

I've used spellbinders die for the image mat.

These 2 stamps are called 'Grey Tie' & 'Under Contract', yes based from the sexy story 50 Shades Of Grey............have you read that book? I have read half of it but then hubster brought me a new ebook the kindle fire hd (fantastic ebook) so I gave my kobo touch to Megan............of course all my books were on there, so I've still not brought it again.

Loved Lou's sketch it still gave scope to add a few foofy bits ;0) Images were of course coloured with copics.......

Crafts & Me DT Card - First Snow

Good morning everyone, how are you all? I would like to start off by saying thank you sooooooooooo much for all the lovely comments I received yesterday they really cheered me up, mmwah thank you.

 I am here today with a new challenge over at Crafts & Me & our lovely Teresa has set the theme this week which is.............

CIRCLES

........so easy isn't it, as long as there is a circle on your card/creation then bring it along & join in the fun.

I have used a stamp from last years christmas release but its one of my faves ;0)

I have used 'First Snow' by Zindy Nielsen exclusive to Crafts & Me Store.

Added Snowflake & tied 2 gold bells & added Stickles.  

The poinsettia is a Marianne die & I added a button from my stash.

The image of course was coloured with Copics & I added Flowersoft 'Polar White' from the diamond range to the fur on her hood, I quite like the effect. I also added it around the edge of the image as well.

My circles are, sentiment, image & matting underneath, 2 doilies & a button.

The papers are a mixture of Websters & Glitz, the song sheet is Glitz & I distressed the edges & roughed it up a bit ;0) I also added pearls using my Cream Pearl Pen.
