CES Challenges DT Card

Good morning all my lovelies how are you all? I have a poorly 16 year old at the mo he has a bad chest infection so he's on antibiotics as well as his inhaler cus he has asthma.......but its ok he has his xbox lol.

Anyhoos its Saturday so that means its time for a new challenge over at CES & this week is the lovely Carrie's turn to set the theme which is................

SHAPE UP............

I dont mean go out buy one of those trainy sporty bra things & start jogging........gawd no!!! We mean shaped cards.. so no square cards & no oblong cards either........bring those shapely curvy cards lol.

I have used one of the gorgeous new digi images from Crafts & Me, my regulars will know I ADORE Hannah Lynn always have done ever since I first saw them on Crafts & Me so I always get excited around the 1st of each month for their new images.

The shape I cut out using a large die on my Grand Calibur, I really need to use this more. The gorgeous dragonfly is a Memory Box die called 'Willow Dragonfly' from My Crafty Heart.

The gorgeous image is called 'Dahlia' & I coloured her with my beloved Copics. I went for bright colours which is soooooooooo unusual for me. I coloured the dragonfly wings so they were see-through & you could still see her body through the wings. I had so much fun with this I really did!!!

I used a Marianne Frame die for the mat behind the image.

Flower & card candy I got from Crafty Emma's Store which is closing down so many things are on offer.

The gorgeous paper is Prima 'Madeline' & inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink.

All A4 card used is from Paper Mill Direct.

My Crafty Heart DT Card

Hello everyone how are you? I am very late with this card I meant to get it on this morning but didnt actually get it made til this evening. I got my DT stuff from the lovely Teresa the other day & as soon as I saw this stamp I had to ink it up.............its just the sweetest image.............

This is of course a Sarah Kay stamp, I so love her images & altho I have quite a few of her stamps I am very guilty of neglecting them & some have still not seen ink.......shame on me I know!

The gorgeous paper is Prima 'Nature Garden' this is such a pretty pad. I have distressed all the edges with walnut distress ink & matted onto thick kraft card.

The fabby dies I have used are as follows......

Along the top I have used Memory Box 'Catalina Border' which is sooooooooo pretty & may become my favourite die.

I have also used a new die that Teresa has recently added to her store, I have used

Cheery Lynn 'Pair Of Ferns' these are great cus you actually get 2 dies in the pack, a lefty & a righty which I think is an awesome idea!!!

This sweet Sarah Kay stamp is called 'A Little Bit Of Country' & I coloured these 2 lil peeps with my trusty copics, I also paper pieced the little fella's waistcoat & trousers cus I think paper piecing looks so nice..............& also cus I was being lazy lol.

I also added a gorgeous piece of Enchanted Collection Lace along the bottom & a few cream Melissa Frances pearls in the top corners.

Flowers are a mixture some are from WOC.

Prima paper, Lace, Memory Box die, Cheery Lynn dies, Pearls & Sarah Kay rubber stamp are all from My Crafty Heart.

All items are very well packaged & very fast delivery, pop along & look at the fabulous items the lovely Teresa has in her store.

Well I will try & look for a challenge or 2 to enter into lol, I never seem to have the time at the min. I am still trying my best to catch up with everyone its just taking its time. However my IBS is playing havoc the last 2 days so I know I will be up all night tonight so I will catch up with you all then lol.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card - May Flowers

 Hello my lovelies how are you all? Well its wednesday so what does that mean.....yes its time for 

Midweek Magnolia's & this week we have such an easy one for you.........

MAY FLOWERS...

....how easy is that we all lurve flowers dont we so bring all your pretty Magnolia florals to us & join in the fun.

Yes I know shame on me for not inking this pretty thing up, isn't she lush!

The wicker heart is from my stash, I've had them forever but I think this is maybe my last one so I really need to remember where I got them so I can get more.........

Flowers, lace & gingham ribbon are all from my stash.

I've used 'Rose Scent Tilda' from the Sweet Crazy Love collection & she has of course been coloured with copics. Not completely happy with the colouring but didnt have time to do another :0(

Along the petals on the card blank I have placed Melissa Frances Pearls, I cased this idea from the lovely Teresa from My Crafty Heart as I saw it on one of her gorgeous cards, thank you shug for the inspiration!!

Ingredients for my card are as follows...............

Papers are Magnolia Paris Red Peony & the bottom layer is again Magnolia but an older one which I forgot I had. Its White Lace from the Lazy Summer Days collection, both paper have had edges inked with vintage photo distress ink.

Dies used are DooHickey Fence & DooHickey Swirl.

Celebrate You

Hi all my lovelies how are you? Well its been a mega hectic weekend & I've barely been on my laptop at all. So this is gonna be a quick post with a card I've managed to make tonight then I can come visit you all & catch up on e-mails lol.

Yes its another SC card & yes ita blue & brown again lol.........in my defence I had this image coloured ages ago but recently found it & thought I would put her to a card.

The paper is Prima 'Pixie Glen' & I've inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink & matted onto thick kraft card. The tulle is from my stash |& the blue pearls are Prima.

The gorgeous image is of course by the Uber Talented Krista at Saturated Canary, I have cropped the image & coloured her with Copics. I also added Stickles to her eyes to give some sparkle but couldnt catch it on camera.

Inside has been decorated inside as well & I've cut out 2 'Prim Poppies' using a Memory Box die, 1 for inside. I love my dies they have to be my favourite things to use. The sentiment stamp is from Whimsy, its the Fanciful Birthday Notables 1.

TA DAAAAAAAAAA - Yes a card & New Releases woooo hooo

Hello my darling lovelies how are you all?

 I'm finally here with a card, yay get me. I tried last night but my step-bro had probs so I was on baby-sitting duty. I couldnt decide what to colour first then the gorgeous Krista of Saturated Canary sent me some new images

OMG...........they are so gorgeous & will hopefully be out for release sometime today.....I know I say this everytime but this set is fantastic...........isn't it against the law to be that talented, I'm sure it is!! Yes my green eyes are coming out in complete jealousy but also in total awe of the pretty lady who draws these.............

 

........isn't she gorgeous!! This is called 'Butterflies', I think lol. This I had to do first 1 because I love her hair & hair is my favourite thing to colour. Secondly because of the butterflies, I love love love butterflies & a whole lot of things that have wings...........even my watermark which is still the first one I got 18 months ago has a butterfly on it..........butterflies & angels I love!!!

 

I have no idea what challenges are about so this is made from the heart completely, tbh I was worried incase my mojo was still in its sick bed lol. The papers are the gorgeous MME 'Paris & Co' & the edges have been inked with walnut distress ink & matted onto thick kraft card.

 

The beautiful flowers are Prima 'Miss Godivas' & these ones are 'Mermaid'. You can 9 gorgeous fabric flowers in a pack & they are available in a range of colours.

 

Of course this beautiful image has been coloured with my trusty copics.....once I got them out of their sulk from not being used lol. The beautiful image of course will be available today from

 Saturated Canary Etsy shop . The butterflies have also had stickles added to them.

 

The edging along the bottom I used a Memory Box Die 'Butterfly Delights' onto kraft card & edged it with ink. A few of the liitle butterflies from the cut out die I also attached to the card.  The lace above the border is 'The Enchanted Collection'  which are just so pretty. The pearls are Melissa Frances pearls.

Well thats it from me there is a new challenge over at Saturated Canary Challenge blog & its such an easy one, we want to see 'Happy Birthday' creations. How easy is that!!!

Hi sorry for being MIA

Hi all my lovelies how are you all? Yes its me I'm back.......see you just cant get rid of me lol. I'm so sorry for being MIA I've been extremely ill & stuck in bed & not up to using laptop or anything.............my copics I'm sure have cobwebs on them I've never neglected them for this long before. I am back on my feet now altho still feeling weak but I've also been diagnosed with a couple of things so I need to adjust to a new living style so to speak I shall not bore you all with details tho. I've still got more tests to have but I'm just glad to be out of bed. I have to say thank you to my totally fantastic hubby who has looked after me so well............he really is a total gem & the love of my life. He did offer bed baths but you know men...........yes indeedly doo..........naughty boy lol. When I did feel well enough to feel like using my laptop the darn thing had broke on me, thankfully I back everything up on a weekly basis on a portable external hard-drive so I dont lose anything if the unexpected happens.......phew!!! So hubster brought me a new laptop & I go & pick the one that PC World didnt have in stock.............yep thats me!! I'm totally excited about having it & just kept stroking it yesterday, I've gone girly & had a pink Sony Vaio, its my first ever brand new laptop I've always brought my sons & Craig new laptops & then I've just had their hand-me-downs lol. So I'm so excited about having a brand new all for me so yes its getting lots of strokes at the moment lol.

I have had 3 lots of fantastic news but I'm not sure if I can tell you about 2 of them yet...........so will keep ssshhhhh for now..............so incredibly good tho lol.

However 1 of my fantastic bit of news really cheered me up & if I had the energy I would have been dancing away, arms in the air waving around like a complete loon.......... Ok let me tell you. The lovely & VERY talented Kitty had a super duper candy on her blog, some of you may have seen it on my sidebar, its still there actually lol. Anyway the candy was for £50..........yes I won it!!!!!!!!! Can you darn believe it, I'm still gobsmacked & still keep reading the email, I only found out today so it was truly a big welcome back to blogland.

So my darling Kitty from the bottom of my heart I thank you a billion times sweetie, altho saying thank you just doesnt seem enough but thank you thank you thank you.....pop on over to her blog she really does fantastic creations!!!

Well I think thats it, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent me emails asking how I am its meant a lot, it truly has my friends. I'm still on catching up emailing you back but I will email you all back lol.

Crafts & Me DT Card - We Are Going 3D

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Sorry I've been MIA I ended up catching that awful flu bug off Natalie & it passed onto my chest, Natalie is still poorly with hers but thankfully over the worst of it.........I havn't had one for years so I cant complain really but it did knock me off my feet so again no crafting lol.

Anyway its time for a new challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges & this week our lovely Angela has set the theme which is...............

3-D

Which means all those fabulous yummy embellishments we all love to put on our cards, flowers, gems, pearls, buttons etc etc.............

I have used an older stamp by Jasmine Becket-Griffith & its one of my favourites by her, I say 1 lol. This is 'Making A Wish' & I just think she is sooooooooo pretty & I love her little angel/fairy on her shoulder. The stamp of course you can get from Crafts & Me Store.

The paper is one of the new pads from Prima 'Fairy Belle' & I matted onto dark brown card & inked the edges with vintage photo. I also added Melissa Frances pearls to the corners. The paper & pearls were from 

My Crafty Heart.

The butterfly was cut using a Marianne die & I heat embossed it to make it look sparkly & added pearls to the body.

The organza ribbon & butterfly button are from my stash which I've had quite a while. The image I coloured with copics & added spots of white gel pen to the hair & gold gel pen to parts of her clothes.

CES Challenges DT Card - Wryns say 'Happy Birthday'

Good morning my lovelies hope you are all having a fabby easter weekend for those that celebrate this occasion. I've got everyone round mine tomorrow for easter dinner & we give out pressies & choccy eggs. We've always made a deal about it from when the kids were born & we still do, this year tho is Payton-Lea's first easter so Easter Bunny has been REALLY nice to her lol.

Anyway its time for a new challenge over at CES Challenges & this week it was my turn to set the theme & I chose a really easy peasy one........

SWIRLS & PEARLS.

See how easy is that...........we all love our swirly pearly things dont we.

I've also made a card for one of my favourite challenges as it was the owners birthday..........can you guess which one????

Yes of course its Christy's birthday & the challenge is of course 'Happy Birthday' so I brought along a few of her Wryns to wish her Happy Birthday.

First up we have 'Grow A Little Love' Wryn, coloured with Copics & I've glittered the hearts with 

Stardust Stickles & put a pearl in her hair.

I also stamped Happy Birthday on the dp & added small pearls. The paper is Echo Park. The flowers & paper are both from Crafty Emma's Store.

Next we have 'Close To My Heart' Wryn also coloured with Copics, added Stardust Stickles to her wings & a small pearl in her hair.

The fence is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die.

Last but def not leat we have 'Spring Bling' Wryn who again is coloured with Copics, Stardust Stickles added to her flowers to give her the bling & some pretty pearls in her hair. I also added shiny green gems to the tree to add a wee bit extra bling.

The swirl is another Magnolia Doo-Hickey die & the grass I cut using the fabulous new Memory Box die

'Grassland Border' from My Crafty Heart. I cut 3 layers out in different shades of green.

My Crafty Heart - Believe

Hello all my lovelies how are you all? Well I thought I would pop on a card that I did last week before Natalie got ill.......I'm hoping to get some crafty time today......altho when I say that it goes wrong but fingers crossed lol. I'm missing my crafting & colouring, especially my colouring!!

The card I've done is mainly using products from My Crafty Heart........

The paper is my favourite pad My Minds Eye 'Lost & Found - Blush' Ive inked the edges with vintage photo ink & matted onto thicker kraft card.

The beautiful silk flower are the pretty Prima 'Bristo Blooms'. The corners are cut out using 

Memory Box 'Macarena Corner' die. I've also added a pink Melissa Francis pearl to each corner.

The gorgeous image is 'Believe' by Zindy Nielsen only from Crafts & Me store. I've coloured her with Copics & inked the edges & matted onto thick kraft card. I cut the mat out using a

Marianne Design Creatable die. I cut the frame out twice & stuck them together.

The doily & ribbon/lace are from my stash, the ribbon/lace I've had forever & got quite a few metres of it.

The butterflies I kept from the last time I used the Butterfly Delights die, I kept the little butterflies as they are perfect if you just want smaller butterflies. I've used a Cream Pearl Pen which the lovely Teresa sent me to add pearl spots to the bodies of the butterflies & I've added some to the corners of the image. Love these pearl pens & Teresa has a few different colours available in her shop.

Tiddly Inks 2 Year Anniversary - Frame The Moment

Good morning all you lovelies how are you all? Well I've still had no time to craft yet but last month the uber talented Melissa & Christy asked if I would be a special guest for their special 2 year Tiddly Inks Anniversary......well smack me down with a wet fish.............I was sooooooo shocked & immediately said YESSSSSS!!!

My goodness I've seriously become addicted to those gorgeous Tiddly Inker images & try my darnest to join in every challenge...........& cry on the ones I miss boo hoo :0(

So the uber talented Christy is celebrating 2 years of Tiddly Inks & her uber talented design team have been creating lots of inspiration for us all why not pop on over to the challenge blog here to find out all the details & see all the fabulous creations from the special guests.

The theme we were given was 'Frame The Moment' now we all have LOTS of those dont we. 

Here's my card I made especially for this theme.........WARNING PHOTO HEAVY.

I used the image 'You & Me'..............you dont want to know how long it took me to choose an image, they are all so darn yummy!!!

Paper & pearls are from My Crafty Heart. The paper is the new Prima 'En Francais' love this paper!!

The twill sentiment is from Crafts & Me.

Butterfly is from my stash & I cant remember where I would have initially got it from but they really are so gorgeous IRL.

Added some muslin fabric from my fabric stash.

The love sentiment is a Tim Holtz ticket & the film strip I found an image on google & printed it off onto acetate & inked it with vintage photo to darken it a little.

The gorgeous image I coloured with Copics & I found another film image on google enlarged it & again printed that onto acetate & then attached it on top of the image. This image I think is perfect for weddings, anniversaries or any kind of love themed creation. What better moment to frame than a wedding day, so its based on that but for maybe an anniversary.

I have to say I really enjoyed making this card last month it all just fell together & the image was a sheer joy to colour & one I will use many times..........I love how they look sooooooo in love.....

An update on Natalie for my lovely friends she is a little bit better & fingers crossed has managed to escape being admitted to hospital. She is still really poorly but any improvement is good & she has still been able to give us her gorgeous smiles.........I loves my angel so much that lassy is a fighter I tell ya, my little hero.
