Crafts & Me DT Card - We Are Going 3D

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Sorry I've been MIA I ended up catching that awful flu bug off Natalie & it passed onto my chest, Natalie is still poorly with hers but thankfully over the worst of it.........I havn't had one for years so I cant complain really but it did knock me off my feet so again no crafting lol.

Anyway its time for a new challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges & this week our lovely Angela has set the theme which is...............

3-D

Which means all those fabulous yummy embellishments we all love to put on our cards, flowers, gems, pearls, buttons etc etc.............

I have used an older stamp by Jasmine Becket-Griffith & its one of my favourites by her, I say 1 lol. This is 'Making A Wish' & I just think she is sooooooooo pretty & I love her little angel/fairy on her shoulder. The stamp of course you can get from Crafts & Me Store.

The paper is one of the new pads from Prima 'Fairy Belle' & I matted onto dark brown card & inked the edges with vintage photo. I also added Melissa Frances pearls to the corners. The paper & pearls were from 

My Crafty Heart.

The butterfly was cut using a Marianne die & I heat embossed it to make it look sparkly & added pearls to the body.

The organza ribbon & butterfly button are from my stash which I've had quite a while. The image I coloured with copics & added spots of white gel pen to the hair & gold gel pen to parts of her clothes.

CES Challenges DT Card - Wryns say 'Happy Birthday'

Good morning my lovelies hope you are all having a fabby easter weekend for those that celebrate this occasion. I've got everyone round mine tomorrow for easter dinner & we give out pressies & choccy eggs. We've always made a deal about it from when the kids were born & we still do, this year tho is Payton-Lea's first easter so Easter Bunny has been REALLY nice to her lol.

Anyway its time for a new challenge over at CES Challenges & this week it was my turn to set the theme & I chose a really easy peasy one........

SWIRLS & PEARLS.

See how easy is that...........we all love our swirly pearly things dont we.

I've also made a card for one of my favourite challenges as it was the owners birthday..........can you guess which one????

Yes of course its Christy's birthday & the challenge is of course 'Happy Birthday' so I brought along a few of her Wryns to wish her Happy Birthday.

First up we have 'Grow A Little Love' Wryn, coloured with Copics & I've glittered the hearts with 

Stardust Stickles & put a pearl in her hair.

I also stamped Happy Birthday on the dp & added small pearls. The paper is Echo Park. The flowers & paper are both from Crafty Emma's Store.

Next we have 'Close To My Heart' Wryn also coloured with Copics, added Stardust Stickles to her wings & a small pearl in her hair.

The fence is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die.

Last but def not leat we have 'Spring Bling' Wryn who again is coloured with Copics, Stardust Stickles added to her flowers to give her the bling & some pretty pearls in her hair. I also added shiny green gems to the tree to add a wee bit extra bling.

The swirl is another Magnolia Doo-Hickey die & the grass I cut using the fabulous new Memory Box die

'Grassland Border' from My Crafty Heart. I cut 3 layers out in different shades of green.

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Birthday Card

My Crafty Heart - Believe

Hello all my lovelies how are you all? Well I thought I would pop on a card that I did last week before Natalie got ill.......I'm hoping to get some crafty time today......altho when I say that it goes wrong but fingers crossed lol. I'm missing my crafting & colouring, especially my colouring!!

The card I've done is mainly using products from My Crafty Heart........

The paper is my favourite pad My Minds Eye 'Lost & Found - Blush' Ive inked the edges with vintage photo ink & matted onto thicker kraft card.

The beautiful silk flower are the pretty Prima 'Bristo Blooms'. The corners are cut out using 

Memory Box 'Macarena Corner' die. I've also added a pink Melissa Francis pearl to each corner.

The gorgeous image is 'Believe' by Zindy Nielsen only from Crafts & Me store. I've coloured her with Copics & inked the edges & matted onto thick kraft card. I cut the mat out using a

Marianne Design Creatable die. I cut the frame out twice & stuck them together.

The doily & ribbon/lace are from my stash, the ribbon/lace I've had forever & got quite a few metres of it.

The butterflies I kept from the last time I used the Butterfly Delights die, I kept the little butterflies as they are perfect if you just want smaller butterflies. I've used a Cream Pearl Pen which the lovely Teresa sent me to add pearl spots to the bodies of the butterflies & I've added some to the corners of the image. Love these pearl pens & Teresa has a few different colours available in her shop.

Tiddly Inks 2 Year Anniversary - Frame The Moment

Good morning all you lovelies how are you all? Well I've still had no time to craft yet but last month the uber talented Melissa & Christy asked if I would be a special guest for their special 2 year Tiddly Inks Anniversary......well smack me down with a wet fish.............I was sooooooo shocked & immediately said YESSSSSS!!!

My goodness I've seriously become addicted to those gorgeous Tiddly Inker images & try my darnest to join in every challenge...........& cry on the ones I miss boo hoo :0(

So the uber talented Christy is celebrating 2 years of Tiddly Inks & her uber talented design team have been creating lots of inspiration for us all why not pop on over to the challenge blog here to find out all the details & see all the fabulous creations from the special guests.

The theme we were given was 'Frame The Moment' now we all have LOTS of those dont we. 

Here's my card I made especially for this theme.........WARNING PHOTO HEAVY.

I used the image 'You & Me'..............you dont want to know how long it took me to choose an image, they are all so darn yummy!!!

Paper & pearls are from My Crafty Heart. The paper is the new Prima 'En Francais' love this paper!!

The twill sentiment is from Crafts & Me.

Butterfly is from my stash & I cant remember where I would have initially got it from but they really are so gorgeous IRL.

Added some muslin fabric from my fabric stash.

The love sentiment is a Tim Holtz ticket & the film strip I found an image on google & printed it off onto acetate & inked it with vintage photo to darken it a little.

The gorgeous image I coloured with Copics & I found another film image on google enlarged it & again printed that onto acetate & then attached it on top of the image. This image I think is perfect for weddings, anniversaries or any kind of love themed creation. What better moment to frame than a wedding day, so its based on that but for maybe an anniversary.

I have to say I really enjoyed making this card last month it all just fell together & the image was a sheer joy to colour & one I will use many times..........I love how they look sooooooo in love.....

An update on Natalie for my lovely friends she is a little bit better & fingers crossed has managed to escape being admitted to hospital. She is still really poorly but any improvement is good & she has still been able to give us her gorgeous smiles.........I loves my angel so much that lassy is a fighter I tell ya, my little hero.

New Artist Coming Soon To Crafts & Me

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Hope you all have had a lovely weekend. I'm sorry I've been missing in action but I've got a very ill daughter at the mo she has been poorly all weekend & we've had the doctor out twice since last night. She has a really bad chest infection yet again & its really affecting her breathing they were going to admit her to hospital today but luckily the doctor who came has been few times before & knows me & Craig can handle a lot of things & we have quite a bit of med equipment to be able to look after her well. So she is on special inhalers with masks, antibiotics & steroids & hopefully in the next 48 hours she will improve. I have cards that I made last week I've just not had time to even use the internet. I just about remembered to email my candy winner her voucher on Saturday lol.

Anyway I'm popping on quickly to show you a show sample that was made for CRafts & Me store using a stamp from a new artist that Teresa has brought to her store. Now remember these samples are smaller than average & have to be flat.........yes which I hate!!!!!!!!!!

This is called 'Love Letter' have you seen how long her hair is.......OMGoodness!!

I have of course coloured her with copics & I paper pieced her dress using the same paper I did for the card. The paper is a digital one from Etsy & to give off a different contrast I printed off some of the paper onto cream thin card for her dress just so it would give a slightly darker colour. Everything else is from my stash.

The pearl bows & heart is from a shop on Ebay.

Well its a quick post from me I'm afraid I'm off to check Natalie's Blood Pressure & SAT level & then cook tea, homemade lasagne tonight.

I will try my best to get around to visit you all but it will be short comments & I'm not promising anything. I should have gone docs myself today as I've got a huge abscess in my left cheek.......when I smile only half my mouth smiles I look like I'm having a stroke lol. It has provieded a bit of humour to the family over the weekend & we have needed it tbh lol. Natalie tho comes first tho & compared to how she is suffering my abscess really is nothing & there will be plenty time go docs after.

Saturated Canary DT Card..............Thinking Of You

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Are you all enjoying this totally gorgeous weather, I'm hardly using my tumble dryer, except for underwear, socks & towels of course........

Anyhoo its time for a new challenge over at Saturated Canary Challenges, your Twine creations were stunning. This time we have another fabulous challenge & it is.......

THINKING OF YOU.....

I love to send cards to just let someone know that I'm thinking of them, that they are in my thoughts.

For mine I've gone a bit shabby chic, I got these papers from Etsy, cant remember who tho or when tho, but I will try find a link to the shop itself......fingers crossed.

You cant see much of the papers but let me tell they are soooooooo pretty & perfect for shabby chic. I've inked the edges & matted on kraft card. This is also one of my fave colours on cards, love pink & brown............tbh I lurve brown lol.

The corner I've cut out with a Marianne die from My Crafty Heart, also the Melissa Frances pearls are also from there........so love these pearls!!

Flowers, ribbon & lace are from my stash. The leaf is cut out with another Marianne die.

The image is the oh so pretty is 'Hand Me Downs Ragamuffin' I really love the raggamuffins they are my fave. You can of course get Krista's fabulous images from her Etsy store here.

I cropped the image & then coloured her in Copics & added 2 tiny pearls to her ears as earrings.

The doily is from my stash & the heart I cut with a die & crimped it. All the kraft die cuts also got sprayed with white spray paint slightly. The butterflies are from my punch, my most favourite punch lol. The gorgeous pink fabric flower is from Crafts & me Store.

Saturday Challenge - Shabby Chic/Vintage

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card - Sketch

Hello again my lovelies wow today has been soooooo hot, its gorgeous!!

Anyhoo I'm back again with my Midweek Magnolia DT card.........yep wee bit late but its me & I'm ditzy, I really am..........I think I should have been blonde you know!!

Anyway this week we have a super duper sketch for you, you know I love my layers & this is fab for it plus scope to add my foofy bits.........a girl has to have foof lol.

I've used an image that I coloured up last year & I heard her crying from my box of images, so just had to use her & give her a home on a card..........

As her dress was blue it suited me to do my fave colours which on a card is blue & brown followed very closely by pink & brown lol.

The gorgeous papers are again the new Prima 'En Francais' & have been inked at the edges & matted onto thick kraft card. The thin strip is a scrap of Magnolia paper called 'Blue Wedding'. I  also punched 3 holes & attached gold eyelet things lol & threaded string through.

The gorgeous satin ribbon is from my stash. I've used 2 magnolia doo-hickey dies, the flags (bunting) & 

the swirl, I edged the flags with ink & threaded bakers twine through them & stamped the letters on them.

Flowers & bakers twine are from Crafty Emma's.

This is 'Farewell Tilda' from the Bon Voyage collection & she was coloured with copics. No idea which ones & the colouring I did soooooooo long ago lol.

Blue sparkly gems are also from my stash as is the die that I used to cut out the arrow thingy & stamped 'You' on it.............miss you....

Crafts & Me DT Card - Elegant Fairies

Good morning my lovelies how are you? Hope you are all getting this lovely sunshine that us in the north are getting.

Well today its time for a new challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges & this week its the Rockin' Rubbah's turn to entertain you & this week our uber talented Karina has set the theme which is.......

ELEGANT FAIRIES..........

An easy one dont you think, basically bring us those gorgeous winged fairies.....we all love 'em!!

Here is my Elegant Fairy which Teresa over at Crafts & Me has an abundant supply off in rubber & digi.

I have used the so so beautiful 'Night Blossom' this pretty little thing has only ever been inked for a show sample so I thought she deserved proper attention lol. The thing with Teresa's stamps is you can make them subtle & soft go to Karina's here to see or colour them boldly they really do suit so many styles. I sooooooooo love Teresa's stamps, always have!!!!!!!!

The flowers are from my stash, the middle rose is from WOC & the larger flower was from Crafty Emma's.

The little scrolls are actually tickets I rolled up so thats why you can see numbers on them.

Of course 'Night Blossom' is by the fabulous artist Janna Prosvirina. She was of course coloured with Copics colours used are.......

C3 C1 COO & white gel pens for her wings & to highlights the spots on the flowers.

Her hair I was originally doing black but then decided to add red for a bit of drama lol. It looks lush IRL.

The gorgeous paper is the new Prima paper 'En Francais' which is so gorgeous. I inked the edges & matted onto grey card. The fence is from a memory box die 'Wrought Iron Fence' & I've used Melissa Frances pearls in the top corner. All these you can get from My Crafty Heart.

Lace, ribbon & muslin are from my stash.

Hello all you levely jubbly people how are you all? Wow we got clear blue skies again, my we are being spoilt ssssshhhhhhhh tho or we might scare the sun away............

This card I just made for the sake of it, its not very often I have time to look at the challenges now so most of my cards I make then look after to see what challenges there are....... Its nice tho cus I'm making what I want to make, so they really are being made with love....if you know what I mean lol.

Anyway here is a Tiddly Inks-er image that I coloured up ages ago........

I've done a diff size but forgot the measurement lol.........I see the fabby Lou Mac doing these size cards all the time & they are always so fab. I did really enjoy doing this but when I want my foofy bits then I will do my normal sized card me thinks lol......not much room for foofy.....

The papers are again My Minds Eye 'Be Happy' I really love this pad & I will have to get more. I've inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink & matted onto thicker kraft card. The gorgeous pearls are 

Melissa Frances 'Trinkets & Baubles' pearls.

The butterfly is cut with my Magnolia Doo Hickey die & I placed some MF pearls on the body.

Lace & bow are from my stash.

This little cutie is 'Whatcha Doin......?' from the Wryn & Friends collection.........I soooo love these!!

I cut her out using a round nestie then placed her behind a Tim Holtz clock die I added sparkly gems all around...........a girl needs her bling...... I also added a wee flower to her hair where her hair clip is.

I cut a corner out using a Marianne Die & inked the edges. Inside of course is also decorated.
