CES Challenges DT Card - Charmed

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? This is actually scheduled cus sometimes mornings can be busy & also my memory is like a sieve.........seriously I'm surprised I dont forget my own name!!

Anyhoo its saturday so that means 2 things...........yayyyyyyyyyy its the weekend & its also time for a new challenge over at CES Challenges. This week our super Carrie (who's about to become a mommy) set the lovely theme of CHARMED.

Easy eh.........just add a charm to your creation & come join in the fun.

I've used the beautiful 'Pricilla Pie' from Saturated Canary, dontcha just love Krista's images, that girl has some serious freakin' talent!!!!!!!

Papers are Websters Pages which I lurve & are one of my absolute faves. I've also added some fab muslim & some sparkly blue gems.

This beautiful Ragamuffin has of course been coloured with Copics which are my fave colouring item altho I am seriously thinking of trying out the Shinhan Touch Twin Markers when they actually get to the UK!!

I added sparklies to her hair as well cus a girl gotta bling, even a Ragamuffin, especially when she looks this pretty.

The flowers & 6x6 Card Blank are from Crafty Emma's Store. The sentiment I think is from Paper Makeup Stamps.....eeek I think anyway!! The little 'Angel Charm' is from My Crafty Heart.

Everything else is from my little stash...........sssshhhhh........

Now its not very often I know what challenges are out there til after I've done my card, unless I've seen a fab sketch on my travels lol. However a couple of fabby blogging friends are on a DT where they want favourite things.......well ladies here are some of mine......

Fave images Saturated Canary & 'Pricilla Pie' is my ultimate fave. Websters Pages, Bling, Flowers, my copics & the colour blue.........phew, didnt do bad did I lol.

Friendship Warms The Heart.........

Hello all you lovelies how are you all? The weather has been canny up here by the sea today, even got a load of washing dry.........then Natalie gave me some more....she so loves her mammy lol.

Over at Tiddly Inks this time they want to see fabric & I do love to join in their challenges so I've kinda gone Fabric OTT..........but what the 'eck lol.

I've used one of the fabulous Wryns, I so love these cuties!!

Its not very often I use an image twice especially when I've got so many still to use but this is my fave Wryn & I cropped her just a wee bit for a slightly different look.

I used WOJ Pennants to make fabric flags & hand stitched across the top & added small pearls.

I used another fabric to place in the middle. Fabric is from my stash that I've had a while.

I've added some pretty lace & lush ribbon to add bit more fabric. All from my stash along with the button & I added a little bit of Jute Ribbon.

This is 'Close To My Heart' Wryn I've coloured her with Copics & added Stardust Stickles to her wings. Well she deserves some bling does our Wryn

For my last bit of fabric I made a tag out of fabric using one of my Doo-Hickey dies, I cut out 2 pieces of fabric & hand stitched around the edge. I used a piece of cream fabric & stamped a sentiment on it, its a sentiment from one of my wood block stamps. I added some more Jute Ribbon & a button & tied some string through it & a Tim Holtz safety pin which is just for looks as its also glued onto the card.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card - Time For Kick Off

Good morning all you lovelies out there how are you?

Well its the day we have been waiting for.........yep its kick off day over at 

MIDWEEK MAGNOLIA'S

For the first challenge we thought we would start off nice & easy so enter any creation that has.........

HELLO

Yep any sort of welcome & come along & join us all. Mine I made an oopsie on it, yea I know first week & already a oopsie! Well I found an envelope from one my beloved craft shops & inside were a few stamps from last year that I had not even took out............my bad... So thought I better use them & thought they would be perfect to kick off a new challenge with so.............

Let The Games Begin...........

Now you see why my post title says what it says lol. Now I lurve footie & when Magnolia released the Winner Takes It All collection I didnt like them...........except for these of course!!!!! Yep then they sit in the envelope til this week, I actually got them on release week as well would you believe as well as others from other companies..........ssshhhh they are still in the envelope lol.

Anyway as its a new challenge I thought it would be fab to use these images & made the sentiment to go with it using my Dymo. Fence of course is cut with my Magnolia Doo-Hickey.

This is 'Football Edwin' which I originally got from Bunny Zoe's but cant find him, so here is another link to him. Psst Bunny Zoes has a sale on on some of her maggies.....

Images used are.....'Soccer Tilda', 'Soccer Bench' & 'Goal Background' & they were all coloured with Copics. They were all stamped onto a new card I've been trying & I have to say I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Its 'Copic X-Press It' blending card & its fab!! 

Of course as you can see its a step card. All card used is from my stash, the papers are a mixture of scraps & hand stitched around them, fab way to use those scraps up. Football button & ribbon also from my stash. 'Play' ticket is Tim Holtz.

Just Magnolia - Anything Goes with Optional Stitching

My Crafty Heart DT Card - Nellie Snellen

Hello all you lovely people its been beautiful here in sunny Newbiggin today, hope its just as lovely where you are.

Quickie post today.

Today I'm showing my DT card for My Crafty Heart & I've used one of the gorgeous Nellie Snellen stamps that Teresa has recently stocked.........these are sooooooooo easy to colour & fast!!

I've used Sweet Eline's 'Frog On A Flower' isn't she sweet. 

I've used the beautiful My Minds Eye 'Be Happy' I sooooo love this pad & the colours in it. All the papers have been matted onto pale grey card.

The gorgeous flower is a single flower I cut from the length of 'Natural' Prima Rose Trim & attached a Jenni Bowlin Pewter pin.

This little sweetie was coloured with copics & I added Stardust Stickles to the flower & her wings.

Tulle is from my stash & pearl bow is from Ebay.

I also added 2 'Victoria Bouquet' Resin Fowers to 2 corners & small pearls to the image.

Lady Of Opal

Hi my lovelies how are you all? I'm having a real manic hectic  monday so I'm gonna try be quick lol.

As I told you I had been playing with some of my digi images & been playing about cropping them. I've not seen them done before but I did get the initial idea from a digi image company who had drawn an image coming off the page.

Anyway here is another one I've done......this is probably my most favourite...........

This is 'Lady Of Opal' by Sara Burrier & she is a digi image exclusive to Crafts & Me.

I've kept the card pretty simple..........for me anyway lol to show off the gorgeous lady.

The metal corner was silver I painted it with Gesso. The gorgeous 'Resin Flower' is from

  My Crafty Heart.

Ribbon-lace & tag is from my stash.

The pretty paper is Melissa Frances 'Vintage Attic Treasures' oh & these are treasures they are soooooooo pretty!! No I dont cry when I cut them.............ok maybe a little teeny bit!!

I've inked all the edges with Vintage Photo & matted onto Dark Brown card.

I cropped her to show her beautiful hair, her pretty face & those gorgeous wings, I then mirrored her to face the other direction. Its amazing how different an image can look after doing this.

The original image is here. She was coloured with copics & added glitter to her wings.

I used a Marianne Design Creatables to make the frame behind her.

I punched out 2 butterflies & attached Hero Arts gems to the body. The large pearl is from my stash.

Well thats it from me this post has took me ages cus I'm rocking Payton-Lea as well while her mam & dad have done back down Yorkshire to get their new car, its easier her staying with nana & gramps he hee.

CES Challenges DT Card - Flower Frenzy

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Well I'm running extremely behind so I'm just gonna get on with it.

I'm finally here with my card for CES Challenges which should have been on yesterday, this week it is our lovely Donna has set the theme.....

FLOWER FRENZY

How easy is that, you just make sure there are flowers are your creation & we allllll love flowers!!!

I have used a flower template for my card, I found it off google but cant remember from what site as I've had the template for ages.........I've also finally inked up 1 of my Magnolia stamps, got quite a few of these un-inked so must get them used.......

As the theme is 'Flowers' I thought why not finally use this flower template. I cut it out of thick kraft card & drew faux stitching around the edge of the petals with a white gel pen.

The tag I've left blank until I know who it will be going to I've attached it to a button using Bakers Twine.

This is 'Rose Scent Tilda' from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection & she was of course coloured with my beloved Copics, sorry tho I didnt write the colours down I used.

Papers I've used are Prima' Sparkling Spring' which I got from Crafty Emma's Store along with the flowers & the bakers twine.

Saturated Canary DT Card.............Doilies

Hello my lovelies how are you? I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has sent get wishes for Natalie, they have worked & she is quite a bit better today. We actually can go bed tonight we've spent the last 3 nights in the living room with her grabbing the odd hour here & there lol. So glad she's on the mend its awful when our babies are poorly isn't it.

Right the reason why I'm here & it is of course time for a new Saturated Canary Challenge, woooo hooooo I hear you say. This time the challenge is soooooooo easy & yummy, its..........

DOILIES

See how easy peasy is that, so all you need is a doily & 1 of Krista's gorgeous images on your creation, whether it be a Saturated Canary one or Sassy stamp.

I soooooo love this image & really enjoyed colouring her. She is called 'Love Letters' & of course you can get her & lots of other from Krista's Etsy shop here.

The hearts I cut out with 2 different sized nesties out of kraft card & crinkled them through my crinkler thingy, ssshhh I dont know what its called & have had it for a year & used it twice..... The hearts were also edged with Vintage Photo ink, they have now had Stardust Stickles added to the edge but I took these photo's late last night & was too lazy take more today lol.

On the corner I've used a Memory Box die 'Madera Corner' from My Crafty heart. Teresa has quite a few new yummy goodies in her shop that you will love & she has more coming so watch this space.

Corner was cut out using dark brown card from my stash & I added a large pearl.

This beautiful image was coloured with Copics, colours used are.......

Paper is the gorgeous Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle Collection' & I added faux stitching with a Letraset fine liner & matted onto dark brown card. Used A4 sand coloured card for the actual card. Doily is a square one from ebay which I chopped some out to make it oblong. I added brown seam binding from my stash. The flowers are from WOC. Pearl hearts are from a friend

Crafts & Me DT Card - Pretty In Lace

Hello my lovelies how are you all today? 

Well it is of course Wednesday which means a new challenge over at Crafts & Me & of course its the Rockin' Rubbah Girlies turn to set the challenge. This week your hostess is moi........yay ickle old me & I decided to choose something I lurve to use on my creations so the theme this week isssssssssss....

PRETTY IN LACE.

You gotta love lace havn't you, there are just so many gorgeous ones out there. You dont want to know how long it takes me just to choose the one I will use........for this card I changed my mind 3 times lol.

For my card this week I've used my very 1st Crafts & Me stamp & its still my absolute favourite stamp!!

I have used 'Butterfly Keeper' by the fabulous Hannah Lynn who is one of my favourite artists. Isn't she so beautiful, I lurve her hair.

The lace & ric-rac is from my stash, I think tho the ric-rac I brought from Bunny Zoes prob about a year ago lol.........yeah I forget about things lol.

Of course the stamp is exclusive to Crafts & Me Store. She is coloured with Copics & I added glossy accents & a sprinkling of glitter while it was wet to give it sparkle & dimension, it looks gorgeous IRL.

E29 E25 E23 & I cant remember what I used on the butterflies. I also added a small pearl to her armband thingy.

Paper is Memory Box 'Gossamer' & I edged it with Vintage Photo distress ink & matted onto brown card. The top paper with the script on is Marianne Design 'Roses Are Red' which I love but think they are getting discontinued :0( The card it is matted on I cut the edge of it with a Memory Box Die as I thought it was perfect being butterflies. I added 2 gorgeous Prima Flowers, a corner die & punched out some small butterflies & added pearls to them.

I'm actually happy with the way this card turned out, which doesn't happen very often & its in one of my fave colour themes, pink & brown. Pop on over to see my fabulous teamies creations they are stunner, each of them.

I'm here to tell you about a fabulous new challenge coming to a blog near you........

MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS

Yayyyyy another challenge blog dedicated to all you Magnolia lovers out there.

I have to admit I've neglected mine of late altho I still love colouring them so when I got the surprise e-mail off Anne telling me about this new challenge that she was starting & asked if I would like to join I jumped at the chance........who wouldn't? Its fabulous to be on a design team from the word go cus you get to watch it grow & you truly see it expand & grow from strength to strength.

So why not pop along & follow this super challenge blog & be with us from the start, you wont be dissapointed. Kick off day is the 7th March so mark it in your diaries my lovelies, I hope to see you talented peeps there.

You Are Special To Me

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Thank you for your sweet get well wishes for Natalie up to now fingers crossed she kept a bit of water down last night & she has just had a weakened milk feed. 

Anyway we slept in the living room with her last night but I couldnt settle & knew I had cut a card out last week & I had plenty of coloured images so thought I would put a card together.

I made a tag card a couple of weeks ago, yeah I know I still havnt posted it on here lol. When I was making it I looked at all my tag dies, I have quite a few & I barely use them so that gave me this idea.

WARNING PIC HEAVY

I drew around my Magnolia Doo-Hickey die onto card & then scanned the image, once scanned I then enlarged it & printed it out onto another piece of card as a template to draw around. Fold over your A4 card & place the template so that parts of it just overlap the crease of the card, those are the parts that will keep it joined. See pic further down for better idea of this.

TIP: When printing out print out a second one slighter smaller so you have a template for the paper. 

Now I love this idea however I'm not happy with the decoration at all but I was following a colour scheme over at MDU & well tbh honest its not choice of colours........I'm not a fan of orange, I like terracotta but not so much orange.

This flower I made from ribbon last year some of you may remember me posting the pics....yeah can you believe its took me this long to use it......should of made it in a diff colour but I'm glad I did it now lol. The leave of course is another Magnolia Doo-Hickey.

This is the inside & I kept it pretty simple. I used another one of my Magnolia Doo-Hickey dies for the tag inside & stamped a sentiment on from my wood block stamps on my shelf which I've had since I started crafting..........gosh its been nearly 2 years since I started.

The image I coloured up months ago so no idea what colours I used all I know is I coloured her with Copics. I did add some shading on her hair with Dark Umber prisma pencil last night to give it more depth.

I used my Magnolia tag template again & drew around it for cutting out Longing Tilda as I wanted the hole in a different place then I ran the die thru my bigshot & cut another tag out in kraft card & stamped To & From on it.

Ooops need take my son school back soon.............

Lol was hoping get it done before I took him lol.

The heart doily is from ebay & I used my last bit of my favourite lace, will have to get more! Everything else is from my stash, little hearts from a friend. My lovely blogging friend June is now on the DT at Just Magnolia & I wanted to give her support so made this for their challenge as well, pop on over to June's blog she makes the most gorgeous cards.
