CES Challenge.............Challenge 6

Good morning peeps its Saturday again already so you know what that means
We are on challenge 6 & this week its the fantabulous Julie's turn to set the challenge & this week your challenge is..............
'GET AHEAD...GET A HAT'
you can make anything as long as we can see a HAT somewhere on your creation.
I actually couldn't believe how many stamps I had with Hats on but eventually I chose these.....

I love these Magnolia stamps I'm rather ashamed to say this but Tilda I've had for about 3 months & this is the 1st time I've inked her up....shame on me!!!! I got a picture of a witches hat off the net, resized it & printed it out & used it as a template. I actually had a diff pic in my head of how this would turn out & the pic in my head was nicer but never mind :o(
The papers are Basic Grey 'Eerie', fab pad of paper this is. The pearl Hat Pins were white & I coloured them with a black Promarker. Also the bottom rose by the pins was cream & I sprayed it with Cosmic Shimmer 'bronze'.

Here are the close-ups of Tilda & Edwin they are coloured with Promarkers. I decided to colour their hairs Orange which I've never done before but I think they look ok. I chopped off Tilda's broom & replaced it with a more authentic 1 which I got from Ebay, I think they are fab!!!

This is my handmade flower, I love making these!! I've added Stamens to the centre & I sprayed it with Cosmic Shimmer bronze & red. The lace on the hat was Ivory & I coloured it with my Spice Promarker.

The little sparkly gems at the bottom of the hat are from my stash & the Halloween buttony thing is from my button jar & cant remember where it came from initially.
Basic Grey papers, Dew Drops, Hat Pins, Mulberry Curly Rose, Stamens, Promarkers & the scalloped card are all from Crafty Emma's Store
Now for the prize for the winner.....

Memory Box 'Glitterati' paper pad......I wish I could enter lol I luuurrrvvveee paper lol.
Pop yourself over to CES Challenges & check out the DT's creations they are absolutely amazing.
Well that it from me I hope you can join us for this weeks challenge we all look forward to your creations.
Mr Blogger seems to be working fine today so I'm hoping to catch up on all my commenting & blogging. May be back later with a new card but until then
Bye-D-Bye for now, hugs to you all that stop by here & big big thanks, you are all fab.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Awww my little Poor Boy

Good afternoon peeps just a quickie post before I cook tea I have my orders to make home-made Lasagne tonight. I have made a male card today......get me another male card!!
Without further ado I will introduce you......
....meet 'Poor Boy' from Secret Crafter  I brought a few digi stamps the other day I just couldn't resist them they have some fab 1s. I've still got their website open now on another page because I'm wanting a few of their rubber stamps lol. I have followed the sketch on Sketch & Stash for this card, its a really canny sketch I enjoyed it & think I will be using this on more cards.....so be on the look-out lol.

Here is a Close-Up of 'Poor Boy' he is coloured with Promarkers which are available from Crafty Emma's Store. The papers are Basic Grey 'Kioshi' of which I really am down to scraps now so I'm looking for more. All the edges have been inked with Vintage Photo distress ink & distressed. The buttons are from my stash & I've threaded Twine from Emma's through them. The top corner I've just covered a button in some Kioshi paper.
I have also had another new stamp today.......

......my personal stamp I ordered it about a week ago & it arrived today. I ordered it from Bunny Zoe's & I really am so pleased with it.
Well thats it from me for now it has took me ages do this post because Mr Bad Blogger is been a nightmare & taking soooo long to up load my piccies.

Pretty As A Flower.......Sarah Kay

Hi there peeps its me again I'm running rather late tonight so this is an extremely quickie post. My card tonight is another 1 of my new stamps but its not Tilda tonight lol.
Meet Sarah Kay 'Spring Blossoms'
I love this stamp I think its sooo pretty. I have followed the sketch on Fussy & Fancy which this week the fabulous Mindy designed, pop on over to her blog her creations are stunning.

Sarah Kay has been coloured with Promarkers. The paper is from Papermania 'Rose Garden' & all papers have had their edges inked with 'Victorian Velvet' distress ink.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid & then topped with Cosmic Twinkles 'Iced Candy'. The organza ribbon is from Bunny Zoes & the button on the ribbon I think is from The Hobbyhouse.

All edges were distressed with my stressy tool & the pink pearls are from my stash. The sentiment came with the paper pad. The card the image is on has had corners punched with my new MS corner punch.
I'm off to link this up & then off to the land of nod. I really hope you like my card. Thankyou with all my heart for your wonderful comments I appreciate each & every single 1.

Nighty night

My Autumn Tilda........Apples & Cherries collection

Good afternoon all you lovely crafters I actually made this card last night but unfortunately I decided to do some crafting in the living room inside of my hobbit..... BIG MISTAKE!!! I brought the new dvd yesterday 'Streetdance 3D' I absolutely luuurrrvvveee dancing....more than crafting & cars & that says something!! Anyway we decided to put the dvd on so I could watch it whilst crafting just in 2D & not 3D mind....think that may be bit hard to do lol. Well I had half my card done, my image done there was about 15 minutes work left......WRONG once the dvd went on it turned into 2 HOURS work left.....its not a good idea to craft & watch a DVD about your biggest passion.......& believe me its a huge passion of mine lol!!
Well onto my card I've noticed a few challenges around blogland setting 'Autumn' as their challenge & my goodies turned up today so naturally after I came back from the hospital I just had to play.
Here is my 'Autumn' themed card.....
Meet 'Tilda in the wind/rain' from the new 'Apples & Cherries' collection. I couldn't resist these new 1s I would of got them all if they were not sold out lol. The paper I've used is Basic Grey 'Porcelain' which I've nearly completely ran out of :-( I've also added some Tulle from my stash onto the umbrella & some Glossy Accents to make it look wet lol.

Tilda has been coloured with Promarkers which you can get from Crafty Emma's Store. I've also used 1 of the Magnolia Doo Hickey Doily Flower dies which I also brought with  my new stamps from Bunny Zoes Crafts I inked the edges with 'Rusty Hinge' distress ink & added a flower which I got from Wild Orchid.
The card I have Tilda on was inked again with Rusty Hinge & then I used my new MS punch around the corner but only punched out the corners & not the sides.

Close-up of the flower I love these Magnolia dies the 1 here is the small 1. The leaves were punched out using my woodware punch & then inked with 'Forest Moss' distress ink. The flower was also inked just a tad with 'Vintage Photo'.

Last pic to show dimension. The flags were cut out using my WOJ Pennants die through the cuttlebug & then it was inked with 'Rusty Hinge', 'Forest Moss' distress inks & then a little 'Vintage Photo' on the edges.
I think thats it for now I've had a nice shopping trip this morn & brought my daughter some new clothes & coats I'm away now to pick up my son from school he finishes at 2.30 on a Wednesday which narurally he loves. Will be back later with something new, I've got a full night to craft while boys & their dad go fishing.
Thankyou for stopping by & leaving your wonderful comments you are all fabulous.
Bye-D-Bye for now peeps
Hugs Vicky xxx

My Skater Girl.......Kenny K

"She was a skater boy, she said see you later boy.........he wasn't good enough for herrrrrrr"

Good evening peeps was singing to myself lol its a quickie post from me tonight. I didn't think I was making a card tonight but then just after 9.30 I decided to make a really quick 1, it took me an hour & its for Kenny K. I absolutely love these images there isn't 1 I dont like & they are FAB to colour. Over there this week they have rather a fab sketch.....
I will def be using this again its 1 of those sketches thats great when you dont have much time....love it!!!!!
For this sketch I've used 'Hockey Girl' here is the direct link. I know she is Hockey but to me she is 'Skater Boy' lol. Here is my interpratation of the sketch....

The paper is Prima 'Fairy Flora' pad from Crafty Emma's Store its soooo pretty!! I have inked all edges with Brushed Corduroy distress ink & distressed a little bit. The scalloped card is also from Emma's. The gems are from my stash, they are Prima I think.

Here she is close-up. She has been coloured with Promarkers.

The flowers I have punched out using Paper Shapers punches & then inked with 'Brushed Corduroy' & 'Fired Brick' distress inks, layered them up with foam pads & popped a Prima gem in the middle.
I think thats about it peeps hope they like it over at KK, fingers crossed.
Thankyou for stopping by it means sooo much to me as you know & I will be round in the morning to have a nosey at your blogs I havnt had time to get round tonight to every1. I'm at the R.V.I Hospital in the afternoon so I will catch up before I go.

Sparkley Tilda

Hello peeps hope you are all having a good weekend. We've had an adventful 1 to say the least but I shall not bore you with the details so instead I'm just gonna get on with my card lol. After the weekend I've had I couldn't get into a crafty mood last night.....my mojo had kinda said 'Toodles' 'see ya later'. So instead I eventually stamped a Tilda onto my water-colour paper & coloured her. Today some of my mojo made an appearance & said 'hi'........
Say hello to 'Ballerina Tilda'. She was stamped onto 'The Langton' watercolour paper & coloured with distress inks. I think there was a small explosion from a glitter bottle in my craft room & a lot of it went over Tilda & the card lol. Over at 'Totally Tilda' their challenge is 'Glitter & Sparkle'....she is certainly sparkling!!! I've kept meaning to enter their challenges but either run out of time or forget about it....well this 1 I am entering. As I painted Tilda last night I had to pick paper to match Tilda instead of the other way round, I actually do that a lot lol. The paper is K&Co & its from the 'Big Stack', its had its edges inked with 'Antique Linen' distress ink & distressed with my stressy tool.

Doily has been inked with 'Tumbled Glass' distress ink. All gems are Prima & the flowers I punched out with my Paper Shaper punches & then covered in 'Waterfall' stickles & white 1s are covered in 'Diamond' stickles & added a Prima gem to the middle.

The strip through the middle I punched using 1 of my MS punches, I cut small slits in each side of the doily & slid the card through & then added a punched flower. The swirls are made using my Cuttlebug.

The sentiment is from Magnolia & Tilda has been edged with 'Diamond' stickles.
Inks I've used to colour Tilda are.....
Skin...Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick & Vintage Photo.
Hair....Walnut Stain
Dress & Shoes....Tumbled Glass.
Well thats it from me I'm running a tad late on my tutorial just because of weekend disasters but I will be putting it on in the next day or 2.
I hope you like my card I would love to hear what you think whether its good or bad. Thankyou for stopping by & thankyou for your wonderful comments they really do make me smile, I appreciate every single 1.

Bye-D-Bye for now

Anyway I will show my creation for this week
Meet 'Henry Mouse with Christmas Bauble' from WOJ. He is painted with my 'Distress Inks', I'm still in the practice stage with these so I'm still a bit erm...raw lol. The bauble has gold Promarkers added in places & Henry has crystal stickles on him. I love these little fella's he is just sooo sweet.
The papers I've used are Websters Pages 'Winter Wings & Holidays' & you can get them from Crafty Emma's Store these papers are gorgeous, mine have been stroked a LOT!!! I've inked all the papers with 'Vintage Photo' distress ink & distressed with my stressy tooly thingy. The Poinsettia's are also from Emma's & they also got inked just a wee bit with the Vintage Photo & also the 'Dew Drops'. The ribbon & gems are from my stash as to the buckle.

This is lying flat to show you the dimension. This is a new style card that I saw on someone's blog a while ago but I cant remember whose it was sorry!! Anyway I thought I would have a go so here is the inside......

It took about 15 mins to remember how the card went & then I had to make the template. I really enjoyed making this card & I love how it turned out. I'm hopefully going to be putting a tutorial on my blog over the weekend so keep popping back if you like. I have used the same pad of papers & still egded it all with Vintage Photo. The 2 doilies I sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer 'Bronze Blush' & then dried it with my heat gun because I'm inpatient lol. The sentiment is computer generated.
These pieces of card are cut using a nestie in my Cuttlebug. The tabs were also cut out & embossed using my cuttlebug & then cut in half & edges inked with Vintage Photo.
Well thats its from me but do pop on over to CES Challenges to have a look at what the girls on the DT have done, they are gorgeous.

Butterfly Keeper

Good evening again its me again but this time with a card.
Over at PFP this week the challenge is make your own flowers well thats right up my street so I've made my fave type of handmade flowers & I've done another Criss Cross card because I just think they are sooo pretty. Here's my card......
This is the pretty Butterfly Keeper from
Crafts & Me & she has been coloured with Promarkers.
I absolutely adore this stamp is is 1 of my all time fave stamps & I am guilty of neglecting her......throw me to the hounds!!!!!!!
The paper.....this paper has been stroked, felt, even licked its that blooming yummy.....I think I shed a lot of tears when I was cutting this.....sniffle.....sorry I was starting to go again then!!! The paper is Websters Pages 'Hollywood Vogue & Wonderfall' & I got them from Crafty Emma's Store.....go get some before I go & buy more....yum yum!!! All the papers have been distressed with my stressy tool & inked with 'Milled Lavender' distress ink. The gems & butterflies are from my stash.
Added a little bit of Lavender Stickles to the white butterflies. The butterfly that is on the image I cut out of another image & layered it using 3D foam pads & then smothered it in Glossy Accents altho it did make the pen go thick around the outline of the butterfly.

This is the inside with again the same papers.....arn't they irresistable!!! The ribbon is actually from a box of choccies hubby brought me a while ago lol. He got a huge bouquet of flowers yesterday cus I havn't been well & he feels awful cus he can't help take the pain away......GOD I love my hubby he is just the BEST!!!!
The sentiment on the card which was run through the Cuttlebug with a nestie & inked with Milled Lavender again, the sentiment is from WOJ it took just over a week to get here but its gotta come from Austria & I got 1 of the new dies & a few stamps.

The flower I made from cutting out 3 6-petalled flower shapes & attaching them all together, they are coloured with Promarker, distress ink & spritzed with Glimmer Mist & dried with the heat gun to create a bit of aging.....dont know how else to explain it lol.

This is the last piccie. I really quite like this card although I think its because I lluuurrrvvveee these papers lol.
I think thats it from me I'm gonna try get some more crafting done.....hopefully. Eldest is sleeping at his girlfriend's tonight, Natalie is in bed & I brought hubby & Jake (youngest) new Xbox 360 games each today so they are linked up together in separate rooms playing on them.....men & their toys lol....aye who am I to complain I'm the same with my crafting lol.

Ringa Ringa Rosies.....A pocket Full Of Posies...& pics of my new car

Good evening once again all you lovely peeps, 2 posts in 1 day arnt I doing well. I have made another quickie card tonight its for 2 challenges. The 1st is Pocket Full Of Posies their theme is 'Lavender & Lace'. The 2nd challenge is Inspirational Sketches & their sketch is this....
So here is my interpretation of it...

Again I've used a scalloped card from Crafty Emma's Store I love these they are fab if you are wanting knock up quick cards, usually I make my cards from A4 & 12x12 card. The papers are Memory Box 'Gossamer' from Emma's Store, these are gorgeous papers in pretty soft colours. They have had their edges inked with Milled Lavender distress ink. The bow & lace are from my stash, the umbrella charm is from Emma's. The large flower & the small purple 1s are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the rest of flowers are from my stash they have also been spritzed with glimmer mist but it was hard to catch on camera.
Meet 'Spanish Tilda'

She is from the Bon Voyage collection, yet another 1 that I still hadn't inked up until now. She is coloured with Promarkers & the edges of her dress & the flower in her hair has Purple Stickles on....just to give it a bit of bling, doesn't she look so so pretty.
I have made this card for my step-mum because she looked after Natalie on Saturday while we went to get hubby's boat from Scotland......its the 1st time we've left her with someone for nearly 2 years but with her been poorly all week we didn't want to push her too much. So I've made a card to say thankyou & I'm buying her some 'Me To You' slippers tomorrow....she loves Tatty Teddy lol.
Right as promised I've put a couple of pics of my new car on......now as some of you know I'm not a girly girl especially when it comes to cars....well I didn't get a car as such I got this....

Its my pick-up truck & I absolutely love her, she is big & beefy & growls like a beast on wheels lol. You can just see hubby's boat there beside it lol. Normally I drive a black van with seats in the back & room for Natalie's wheelchair, you can just see it by my railings with the blacked out windows.

Here is my beast from the back, the roll bar just got fitted today by my hubby, it was the first thing I brought for it I'm ordering the front bull bar tomorrow for it lol. Told you I wasn't a girly girl lol.
Well thats it for me tonight I'm hopefully gonna link this card up I've had a nightmare with Blogger today so please forgive me if I havn't gotten to your blogs I will certainly be trying again tomorrow.....ggrrrr the damn thing.
Anyway nighty night peeps sleep tight dont let the bed bugs bite......
Thankyou for stopping by once again you all rock da house!!!! lol
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

I Love Promarkers with Kenny K

Good afternoon lovely crafters I'm just popping on to quickly post a card I've made before going on my school run.
Over at I Love Promarkers this week they have a Sketch to follow....
with the optional theme of 'Ripping'.....well who doesn't love to rip papers!!
I decided to make another male card......yes you heard right a male card. I got this image from Kenny K cus I thought he was just sooo cool, he reminds me of my youngest a little bit when he is playing on his Guitar Hero on the Nintendo Wii lol...Here is my card....

This is 'Rock Dude' & what a dude he is, he's just mint!!
The papers are Basic Grey 'Eerie' & they are from Crafty Emma's Store as to is the scalloped card & the black Dew Drops & the Twine in the buttons. All the papers have been 'ripped' to fit the theme & of course I've followed the sketch.

Here is Rock Dude up close & personal & you can get him here. He is of course coloured with Promarkers & then sprayed with lashings of Spray & Shine from Crafters Companion.
I think thats it...............way my giddy gosh I've done it!! I've actually FINALLY done a quick post.....

PFP & Whiff Of Joy Challenges

Well good evening peeps hope you are all fine & dandy & refreshed & was back to school this morning, sickness finally stopped on Saturday.........thank goodness!!!! I still havn't took any photo's of my new car, I keep forgetting & my hubby pinched it on Sunday to tow his boat to the beach so he could go fishing, my youngest son loved every minute of it altho he was a bit green around the gills when he came back bless him.
Anyway onto tonights card, I decided that I would try something new tonight & made a Criss-Cross card, wow I absolutely loved making this, will be making more I know that lol. This card is made for PFP which the lovely Julie has chosen a photo inspiration, I took the colours & the spotties from it. Its also for Whiff Of Joy whose theme this week is layers.....hope both challenges like what I've done......
here it is.....
I'm really enjoying doing Crimbo cards at the mo so I thought that I would make this for Crimbo, red is a beautiful crimbo colour anyway & its on Julie's piccie. The papers I've used are all My Mind's Eye 'Holly Jolly' & are from Crafty Emma's Store & let me tell you they are blooming gorgeous, I'll be getting more of these. All the papers have had their edges inked with Walnut Stain distress ink. The large Poinsettia is inked with Fire Brick distress ink. Behind the poinsettia is some tulle I got from Ebay which I just fiddled with to add a bit of decoration.

Here is the inside what slides out I've kept it simple-ish so there is room to write a personal message on it. The image of course is WOJ 'Willow with Santa's Stocking' & she is coloured with Promarkers, I adore this image. The stamped sentiment is a stamp from Crafty Emma's as to are the Poinsettia's large & small & the Card Candy which are the red & gold spots I've stuck on, I've stuck these on with foam pads to give them a lift.....they are lush & you can get all colours in them.

Here is my little creation side by side lol. I really hope you like this & hope they are ok for the challenges I'm entering them into......fingers crossed.
Well thats it from me as its bed soon.....how is it it never seems long before that damn alarm clock beeps at 6.30 & I'm having to get up again!!!!
How did I do peeps....was it short, I'm thinking it was.....for me anyway lol.

Nitey nite sweet dreams everyone & thankyou SOOO much for stopping by I really appreciate your visits & your comments.
Hugs to all

CES CHALLENGES DT CARD............Challenge 4

Good morning peeps. Gosh it seems ages since I've been on here, well its been a few days anyway lol. I've had such a hectic week my poor Natalie has been ill with vomiting......every half hour it was terrible....I've had a new washer & I think she wanted to test it out lol. Altho it is fab its the new LG 11kg washer, if you want a new washer get this its fab....oh & BIG lol, I need it in my household lol.
Anyway lets get on with the job in hand.....its Saturday so that can only mean 1 thing!!!!
Yes you got it......CES Challenge time!!!!
Challenge 4 this week & it was my turn to set the theme & the theme is.....
Baby Bonanza
Make any project as long as its for a baby, which means if you want to you can go all out on cuteness lol.
Here is my creation for the challenge this week....
I have made a card & mini exploding box. I've only ever done an exploding box once before & it using 12x12 card, this box however is made just using 1 piece of A4 card, how fab is that. It makes an excellent keepsake. There are a few piccies so please bear with me.

The papers are Webster's 'Lullaby Lane & Life's Portrait' but unfortunately have been discontinued (I'm not happy :-( however pop over to Crafty Emma's Store to check out the NEW Websters papers, they are gorgeous. The image of course is Hanglar & Stanglar, I love these guys nearly as much as Magnolia but they are so hard to get, mine are from Ebay. For the card I actually used a blank card from Crafty Emma's, the Dew Drops are also from there. All edges have been inked with 'Sage' & 'Tumbled Glass' distress ink.

Here is the card lying down to show you the 3D element of it.

Close-up of image which is coloured with Promarkers on smooth white card also from Crafty Emma's Store this is excellent card for Promarkers & Copics. The card its layered on is cut out using a nestie in my Cuttlebug. In the corner I made a bow with some lush baby ribbon & hung an acrylic dummy from it. The ribbon I got from Ebay as to the dummy.

Here is the mini exploding box made using A4 card & the same Websters papers as the card & everything inked with the same inks. The lid I stuck some pretty lace ribbon on & attached mini safety pins & Dewdrops on each side of the box to decorate a little.

Here is the box opened. I attached a small round box inside which is glued down, its to put baby's 1st tooth in or 1st curl....a keepsake to treasure. I attached the same lace to the lid of this box & attached a 25mm blue rose from Wild Orchid. The box itself I painted using weathered wood crackle paint.

The card I put 2 rub-ons lightly on rubbed distress ink all over then removed the rub-ons to leave the words there. I think it gives a really nice effect & it gives me a reason to use my rub-ons which normally sit in their stand lol.
Pop on over to CES Challenge to check out all of the DT creations, the ladies have made some fabulous cards, they are gorgeous. Have a go at entering our challenge the winner gets this.....

My Minds Eye fabric brads & ribbons, these are totally gorgeous.
Well thats it from me for now I am sorry for not blog hopping hardly this week but with Natalie being ill I just havn't had time but she is better now so I will be over to visit you this weekend.
I also got treated to a new car yesterday, its rather big & yummy will put a pic on later.
Will let you go now thankyou for making it to the end of this long post lol, I know there was quite a few pics wasn't there? Hope you all have a fabulous weekend, take care & thankyou for popping in its sooo much appreciated.

Bye-D-Bye
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
