CES CHALLENGES.........Challenge 2

Good Morning every1.....Well its Saturday again peeps...these weeks now really are flying by I'm actually going to buy my 1st crimbo pressie next week, my youngest wants an Ipad & I like to get the expensive ones out the way first lol......BAH HUMBUG!!!lol.

Anyway onto this weeks new challenge over at Crafty Emma's Challenges. Last week we saw an amazing amount of entries.....we were astounded by it & we would like to thank every1 for entering their gorgeous creations.....we hope you will all join us again with this weeks challenge which is......

'Floral Frenzy'

Thats right we want to see flowers, flowery paper. flower embellishments anything thats flowery........we all love our flowers so we know a lot of you will like this challenge. Get yourself over to the challenge blog to get some inspiration, Emma & the rest of the DT girls have done FABULOUS creations that will certainly inspire you.

Without further ado I will show you mine.........

This is my Kinetic card, I've never made 1 of these before I had seen a few about but thought they looked a tad too complicated for me......but then I thought what the eck I will have a go!!! I'm glad I did actually because it unsurprisingly easy, the only time consuming part was put all the layers on lol.

The papers are Websters Pages from Crafty Emma's Store & they are called 'Lullaby Lane & Life's Portrait' I tell ya these papers are truly gorgeous, I sort of didn't want to use them cus of how pretty they are & they are all double sided so you end uo being spoilt for choice.

This is 'Farewell Tilda' another of my new Magnolia's that has took a month to be inked up....oops!! I really need to stop buying stamps but I NEED them!! Tilda is coloured with Promarkers which are also available in Emma's Store. The flowers I have actually made myself which I am quite proud of, I will be making more of these. I made them by printing out a flower shape in 3 diff sizes & coloured with pink Promarkers before being put together.

This is the sentiment in the middle which is from a stamp I brought some time ago & actually forgot I had. I placed gems down the side & along the top....gems were just from my stash.

This is 'Longing Tilda' which I've had for a few months & only used her the once & thought it was the perfect stamp to have on the other side with 'Church Window', both are Magnolia. The flower is a smaller version of the 1 I made on the other side. The Rose charm is from Emma's Shop & thought it was perfect to add to the flower, its really pretty. All the gems are from my stash & the Dew Drops again are from Emma's shop.

Another Award.......WOW Cooooooolllll

Hello peeps I meant to post this the other day but forgot so I'm posting it now. The other day I got another award, this 1 was off the lovely Susie, thankyou again so so SOOO much.....

Now I think I'm doing this right.....oh gosh please tell me if I'm not its all new to me lol.

Anyway apparently I need to....

actually you should see me doing it I've got this page open & Susie's & have to keep flicking between them both to make sure I'm doing it right.........but then getting me knockers in a twist when I do it wrong......hehe hee..........

 OMG I'm laughing my ass off at the mo cus I've just read what I put & it says 'knockers' pmsl.....honestly I can barely type thru laughing that much its supposed to say 'knickers', may be a bit wet soon if I dont stop laughing........LMAO.....sorry peeps...

3. Say 3 things about myself........WOW really....oh god here goes then lol....well obviously as you know I'm very stupid & silly lol, I am like this 12 year old stuck in a 38 year old body.....age really is just a number & life is for enjoying to the max cus who truly knows when our number is up.....I've had so many things happen to me since turning 16, even losing children but I truly believe in making the most of what I have....my daughter taught me that when I was 18, she was only meant to live for 2 weeks, she is now 18 thats how amazing life can be sometimes, she is our diamond!!!!

The 2nd thing is my family, I am utterly devoted to them, my kids & my hubby really are my life & I enjoy spending as much time as I can with them.....I feel like I'm the luckiest woman in the world not only do I have the most beautiful daughter, I also have 2 sons 1 14 & the other nearly 20 & who give me hugs EVERY single day & tell me they love me, even if their mates are here...............that is PRICELESS.

The 3rd thing you should know is that I'm not really a girly girl, the only thing I'm girly in is obviously my clothes lol, Y Fronts really dont suit me lol....crafting is the only way of me being girly....I HATE soaps, I love action films, shooting games on the xbox but my biggest love.........is CARS, OMG I would love to race cars for a living that would be a dream, I reckon I could do Clarksons job on Top Gear & would take less pay as well lol........I am a petrol head & proud of it lol. I want know whats under the bonnet before I even get inside the car loI want the torque of the engine I want know what BHP it has... not whether it electric windows or heated seats or little mirrors for re-doing my make-up in.....I want the machine varoooooom!!! lol.

Right now I have to post a fave pic.....wow now this was really really hard but it can only be a pic of my hero, MY DAD, he really was my best friend & we didnt go a day without seeing each other as well as talking on the phone & texting, he was amazing & if I grow up to be half the person he was....well then I will find myself privliged & very proud.

This was the last ever pic of my dad he died of cancer 10 days later, we found out he had cancer 3 months before & it was like he aged 30 years overnight. This is a pic taken the year before.....

He was always very tanned....he thought he was gorgeous actually, he blinking said it often enough lol. Here he is singing with me on karaoke......I'm Celine Dion lol...........yeah like you believe that, actually I used to be a DJ but still couldn't sing like Celine..........its good pretending though lmao.

Well now I have to pass this onto 5 others....this is the part I REALLY dont like so I'm gonna pick 5 that I didn't pick in my last award.........(or how about ALL of you take it cus I love you all ssshhh dont tell)

Meet Japanese Tilda

Good morning peeps well I amazed myself last night & did actually make another card but as it was late I didn't post it.....I've finally got time now to post it lol!!!

I lost track of time completely last night, hubby came out to me at 12.45 & asked if I realised what time it was.........oops!!!

I got the new Magnolia collection from Bunny Zoe's just before hubby did my extension......I will put piccy's of my new craft-room on soon.....its very messy at the mo lol.

Cool as I'm writing this post Mr Postie has just delivered my Hanglar stamps that I put a post on here about.....how quick was that all the way from Sweden as well!!!

Anyway here is my card.....

I actually coloured this tilda the same time as I did Indian Tilda but only finally put her on a card now, she is coloured with Promarkers except her hair which was coloured with prisma.

The papers are Wild Rose Studio, called 'In Love With Japan' & I got these from Crafty Emma's Store these papers are soooo pretty, the colours are lovely & delicate.

The butterfly I got off Ebay & the flowers except the buds were from Wild Orchid. The buttons are from The Hobbyhouse. Ribbon & flower buds are from my stash. All edges were inked up with Tattered Rose & Tumbled Glass distress inks & then they were distressed. The sister sentiment & tag were cut out using my cuttlebug & then covered in glitter.

I hope you like my card, I certainly think Japanese Tilda is sooo pretty.....this is the first oriental card I've done. Well I'm away to do my DT card now ready for Saturday, hopefully will get another card made to put on here.....you never know lol.

Whiff Of Joy is missing you

Good evening lovely crafters I feel as though I havn't posted for ages when in fact it was just Sunday!!! I'm lost in time I think lol.......oooh it would be being lost in the Seychelles................right I will wake up & stop dreaming!!!!!

The card I have made tonight is for the Whiff Of Joy Challenge the lovely Jane has done a sketch to follow. Well as I've had all my craft room extended I have found all my old stamps so I've been "ooooh I forgot I had that......eeeeee its like an aladdin's cave..........ahhhhhh arn't they pretty.......ooooohhh eeeeee aaahhhhhh....." The last bit I shall not tell you what my husband thought when he heard the noises!!!! (I think you can guess tho lmao)

Anyway I've decided to get some use out of my oldies but goodies............

here is the sketch over at WOJ.....          

I thought that a tent card again would suit this sketch quite well so thats what I did......

This is 'Willow with hot chocolate' but to me as I dont like hot choccy its black tea instead lol. These stamps I've had since March when I 1st starting stamping & colouring so its been really nice to use them again. I stamped Willow onto card 1st then masked her, I keep spare copies of stamps which have been stamped & cut out & they stay on my notice board, then if I want to mask they are there ready & they go back on the board after. It saves having to stamp twice everytime. Anyway I masked Willow & then stamped the chair over her & attached her using some of my jump rings. The papers that I used on the card are by K&Co & its K McKenna. The image was coloured with Promarkers.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid & I put some Stardust Stickles to give some sparkle, I've tried to catch it in the photo but only caught a little bit. The leaves are punched out with my Woodware punches & then they were inked with Crushed Olive & Forest Moss distress ink.

This is my sentiment, I'm hoping it will be allowed over at WOJ, so fingers crossed!!! The key & heart I made myself out of card, used a couple of jump rings from my jewellery stash & a couple of gems from my craft stash. I stamped the heart & the key with a heart shaped stamp that I got from Crafty Emma's Store with text on it, its lush, I stamped it on in Worn Lipstick & then inked the edges with the same. I then wrote missing you on it with my black Memento pen & sprayed it all with CC Spray 'n' Shine.

The gems going around the middle are from my stash & I used a nestabilitie through my cuttlebug to cut the middle out. I placed a doily on the inside which was inked with Sage & Tattered rose. The ribbons are from my stash & also from a craft magazine, a freebie lol. The top of the tent card I punched 3 holes along the top & decided to fasten it shut with ribbon knots.

I think thats its peeps I am trying to keep it short as I'm gonna try make another card.....try I say!!!!!

Some More News & a Blog Hop

Hello everyone how are you all enjoying your weekend....a long weekend for the UK!! This is a longish post as I have quite a bit to tell you but its worth staying til the end if you will, so pull up a comfy chair, relax, have a cuppa on the ready!! 2 weeks ago tomorrow I had such a fabulous Monday, in the evening I had a fantastic e-mail off Crafty Emma offering me a DT position & in the morning of that Monday I received an e-mail from Rachael aka Cowgirl Up Designs offering me a position to be on their posse......I was not feeling good that day but by the end of the day I was running around waving my arms in the air like some lunatic who has just escpaed from some asylum lmao. I was grinning all day long....actually all week long if I'm being honest I never EVER thought I was good enough to be on any DT yet alone 2, there are such a lot of talented crafters out there I am in awe of them every single day.
Anyway I'm done with my exciting news now I will get on with my post. Finally I can shout that I'm on the Posse over Cowgirl Up & today is my first posting & whats more they have a Blog-Hop over on  Cowgirl Up Designs there is candy on offer for the blog-hop. Here is my 1st card for the challenge.....the Challenge this week is 'Make your own flowers'

I decided that the image would suit a tent card fabulously so here is my 1st tent card. I really enjoyed making this so you could be seeing more of these as well as my beloved easel cards lol. The papers are from Basic Grey but I cant remember the name of the pad....oops sorry!!! The ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons which I brought a while ago. The flowers I made by using my retro flower punch & adding a gem to the middle. The hanging bracket at the top was made using my Tim Holtz Hanging Sign & running it through my Cuttlebug. The leaves & butterfly were also made with punches & the image is from Cowgirl Up & was coloured in using Promarkers. The middle I cut out using 1 of my nestabilities through my cuttlebug, I then added gems every so often around the edge.

Crafty Emma's Challenge..... Kick Off A New Challenge

Good morning everyone hope you are all fine & dandy this morning.

Well its Kick Off day with a new weekly challenge Crafty Emma's Challenge blog.
I am sooo excited about this Challenge blog & the other girlies I am working with are just FAB & very talented, I feel VERY honoured to be working with them all.

We are starting off the challenge with everyone's favourite 'Anything Goes' which basically means you can create whatever you like as long as its papercraft.
Here is the 1st prize.... a 12x12 My Minds Eye 'Oh La La' paper pack....mmm it certainly is ''Oh la la''

Here is mine....

It is a Notepad, this was an old hardback book, the insides were cut out & it has been covered in these gorgeous 'Pink Paislee' papers which are from Crafty Emma's Store, the tag is also from here as to are the pretty Dew Drops & the Pearl Pear Shaped Pin in the flowers. You really must get these Dew Drops they really are SOOOOO pretty, the camera doesn't do them justice. The images are from Kenny K & have been coloured with Promarkers which Emma also stocks. I also added metal corners to help protect the corners & also because it looks nice lol. The flowers are all from my stash, so is the doily which has been inked with Vintage Photo distress ink.

This is the inside of the notepad, again just covered in 'Pink Paislee'. Before the pads went on I glued on a piece of ribbon to provide an anchorage for a pen. The pads are actually free downloads from Graphic Garden they have loads of free printout things on there, its fab....

Here is the close-up of the images, I absolutely love Kenny K images they are fab to colour.

WOW.....I Have An Award

Hello peeps I know I havnt posted for a few days I've been a bit busy & bit ill, this damn kidney is giving me a lot of trouble but nezzer mind lol. Anyway I have received an award this morning.....I can't believe it I'm sooo proud.......I am grinning like a chesire cat ;0) Here is my award which I received from the lovely Coops.....thankyou hunni soooo much. Blue Christmas - Whiff Of Joy

Good evening every1 hope you all are keeping fine & dandy, well what lovely weather up here along the North Coast its been today.......can you believe it no rain, blinking 'eckythump!!

Well I'm am gonna try & keep this short.....LMAO 'TRY'. This last few days I've been in a lot of pain (cant wait for my hospital app next month) so its took me 3 days to do this card, I 've started then stopped, then started blah,blah,blah, its so hard to get any whoomph in ya when you are not well isn't it?? Anyway I've FINALLY finished my card & its a Crimbo card, now this is my 1st EVER Crimbo card, I've never made 1 before I only really started making cards this March & I've stayed clear of all the challenges that wanted crimbo, me being a scaredy cat...meoowww.......but I'm tough na, I've hardened up lol..... I'm more like a lion, roarrrrrrr, lol.

I'm just gonna show the card & shush up lol, here it is......

This is 'Melinda' the Christmas Angel & she is from the Guardian Angel collection at Whiff Of Joy. I have only just brought this last week & the stamp at the bottom I brought off Ebay a few weeks ago, I knew I would have to start getting my Crimbo stuff in!! Over at PFP this week the lovely Anja has set the theme 'Winter Blue'. Now as you know I wont miss PFP so its a case I had to do Crimbo but then I'm looking thru all my blinking billion DP's & I didn't have any Crimbo paper but didn't realise til last night....arrrggghhhhh. Ah well lucky enough I have Text Prints paper stack by DCWV & in there was the 2 papers on the easel card.....PHEW!!!!

This is the bottom. The flowers are from my stash. The snowflakes I used my small Woodware punch covered them in glue & then coated them in Diamond Dust Twinklets. The heart stamp has music notes around the outside so I got a free music sheet to try & match the theme, you will see better what I mean on the next pic..................

........its the song 'Blue Christmas' which I thought was rather apt, so I printed it out then inked it up with 'Tumbled Glass' & 'Stormy Sky' distress ink. The card that the image is on is from the Papermill, I get all my card from there, I also ran the card through my Cuttlebug in a snowflake embossing folder. The WOJ stamp, the button in the middle of the large snowflake & the snowflake charm I got from Hobbyhouse, it was actually my 1st time there & my things arrived the very next day, excellent for me as I'm inpatient lol. The WOJ stamp I also put Stickles over her wings & on the fur around her clothes. The chain & all the other bits of charms are from my jewellery making stash & the ribbon is also from my stash. The large snowflak I found an image on the internet & cut it out & then covered it in Diamond Dust again.

This is a side view, I've tried catching all the sparkle but I've not succeeded :-( hubby has gone fishing tonight for a few hours with our youngest son so I've had to take the pics....can you tell lol.

Well I think thats it, I can keep spying my jar of sweeties on this pic so I'm gonna do some more crafting whilst sucking on a sweetie lol

Whiff Of Joy Door Hanger

Hello peeps this is gonna be a quick post because its rather late tonight....or should I say morning!!! I have made my creation tonight for the Whiff Of Joy challenge, I've never entered the challenge before altho I've kept meaning too but then I forget......keeping a diary would be a BIG help wouldn't it lol. Anyway I've never made a door hanger so I thought I would give it a go.....its good to try different things. Anyway before I ramble on here it the close-up of the image I've used...

She is called Dancing Willow......I have had her quite a while actually but only got round to inking her up now....slap my hands!!! I love this image it reminds me of me dancing away in Whitley Bay. I luuurrrvvveee dancing, I can be in a shop & if I hear a beat thats it my body has a mind of its own, I dont even realise I'm doing it until my boys walk away in embarassment lol, actually its just my eldest, my youngest who is 14 thinks its cool & says he glad his mum ain't boring.......YAY get me, I'm cool!!! WOO HOOOO.

Here is my door hanger. For my 1st try it didn't turn out too bad. The tag & sentiments are all made via my lappy & printer & then had the edges inked with Vintage Photo. Flowers are from stash, as too are the pearls. The swirly-thingy-ma-jiggy's are from my cuttlebuggy thing....sorry everything is out in the craft-room & I'm back inside & can't remember what anything is called....lol, I need sleeeeeeepppp

This is the bottom. I made a pocket on it so people can put messages in it, its for a teenager when they are wanting to go & have a good time!!!

Double Trouble........

Hello there all you lovely crafters. Well I've finally finished my craft room, there are still a few finishing touches to do but I was getting severe crafting withdrawal & NEEDED to make a couple of cards. 1 of the cards is a digital image & the other is a stamped image...YAYYYYY!!! Since I packed up my craftroom I didnt leave my ink pads out for stamping so I've had to rely on digi images for the last 2 weeks, it hasn't been a bad thing, I love digi images, you can have them whatever size you want which is just FAB. The thing is I ordered loads of Magnolia stamps from Bunny Zoe, I spent a canny bit actually, naughty me.....I wanted the Bon Voyage collection & they all came the day after packing up my hobbit so for 2 weeks they have sat in their padded envelope.......I was gutted!!! Well yesterday I started to stamp them, only a few for now as I found 2 WOJ stamps that I had still not inked up........is every1 like this.....do any of you have new stamps that have just sat there???? pleeeeezzzzeee say its not just me!!!!

Anyway without further ado here is a close-up of the image on my 1st card.....Hint Of Pink

This is Vikki Lee Vicious from none other than Kenny K's Challenge Blog I have put a link to his blog cus for some reason my internet wont let me onto his shop at the mo....darn thing.

Here is the card......I've seen a few people doing Mono cards just lately so I thought I would have a go as I had not done 1 before, not a whole image anyway, I chickened out & coloured the face skin tones lol . I chose greys but then I found this lush paper (can't remember the brand but I do know its called 'Hint of pink', hope that helps) so decided to add just a touch of pink to her lips & her guitar, I think she looks cool!!

Here is the side-view on the easel card. All the flowers I made myself, also the corners I made with my cuttlebug......I tell ya it feels soooo good to be able to play with my things.....I'm like a kiddie ina candy shop shouting SWEETIES & getting excited!!!!!

  The silver butterfly is from my stash, the sentiment is from 1 of my stamps & I ran the card thru my cuttlebug, the bottom flower I sprayed with Twilight Cosmic Shimmer & added a few bits of glitter dust & then wacked some black stickles in the middle, image is coloured with Promarkers. ONTO MY NEXT CARD

For this card I've used 1 of my new Tilda's from the Bon Voyage collection & I just luurrrrvvveee this image so I coloured her up as soon as I stamped her yeasterday, she was actually the 1st 1 I stamped up....she is just gorgeous!!!

Here is Indian Tilda.....

She has been coloured with Promarkers except for her hair I used black Prismacolor pencil as I can get a better effect off that than my Promarker. For the jewels in her hair I used my gold gel pen.

Here is the card in full, I followed the sketch on Sketch Saturday which I rotated a little bit. The papers are Basic Grey called Kioshi, I've gone thru a lot of this pad its 1 of my faves so gonna have to get some more. The flat 25mm purple & green flowers I got from Crafty Emma's Store, don't forget Emma has a new challenge starting 28th August & has some lovely candy up for grabs Crafty Emma's Challenge All of the other flowers are from my stash as too are the gold corners. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

I am really pleased with how this card turned out, I think its my fave & I really enjoyed colouring her in, will defo be using this image again.

Good morning there peeps & what a good morning it is. Now you may wanna turn your volume down for this cus I'm gonna shout it from the rooftops!!! I am SOOOO excited honestly how I havn't peed my pants in excitement is beyond me.....well that & my hubby says I cant get the sofa wet.......he he he only kidding folks lol!! Well good evening all you lovely crafters hope you are all fine & dandy. I havn't made a card for a few days due to been very busy painting my new craft-room I should be in by Saturday WOOOO HOOO I cant wait honestly this is where I am crafting at the mo

This is the corner of my kitchen, I end up spreading out onto at least 1 other bench at night when I'm crafting & then when I'm finished it gets squashed back up this corner. Its actually usually more squashed up to make sure everything is clear of the hob.

On the left is my new papers & dew drops from Crafty Emma's store that I ordered, the dew drops are gorgeous let me tell ya. On the right next to my buttertub which at the mo is housing some ready made punched outs thingy-ma-jigs, you know what I mean.........don't you? Anyway in front of the tub is a couple of bag charms I'm making for a friend & she wanted Betty Boop on 1.....why wouldn't she want BB... Anyway come Sunday my benches are going to be kitchen benches, I will be able to actually get to my slow cooker, probably still wont use it mind!!!

Here is my card I've made tonight......

It feels like I havn't made an easel card for a lifetime.......slight exageration there I think!!!! I had no end image in my head for this 1, all I knew was that I was following a sketch at Cowgirl-Up Sunday Challenge & it also had to be something to do with music for PFP Challenge which the lovely Andie set. The lovely pretty image is from Cowgirl-Up Design & her name is 'Check Faery', they have sooo many lovely images I was actually spoilt for choice. Head on over to their blog to enter this week's challenge, it has a fab sketch to follow & the winner will receive a selection of cutting files from Kandrew Designs & you will also get to choose 3 fabulous images from Cowgirl-Up Design Ranch & of course you will get your Winner's badge. Right I will quickly tell you what has been used on my card. 1st of all I used a different card for colouring my image tonight, its actually Smooth White Card from Crafty Emma's Store & its blooming FAB, no bleeding when I used my Promarkers & its nicely priced, actually its cheaper than what I usually get. The papers are again from Crafty Emma & they are called 'Queen Bee' by Pink Paislee & they are gorgeous. Everything has had the edges inked with 'Bundled Sage' distress ink, when I say everything I really do mean EVERYTHING....the papers, the sentiment, the flowers, the card itself, the butterfly & ME!!!! All the flowers were made by MOI, except for the middles they were from my stash.

This is the bottom of the Easel card. The sentiment is printed from my Lappy of course & the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons & the buttons are from Bunny Zoe's & the leaves I got from my local craft shop, they were being sold off for 50p all diff sizes.....you gotta love a bargain, especially a craft bargain!!

I think that is it peeps, I'm worn out & inked up & stressed out, even my knicks are in a twist lol.... Anyway thankyou SO SO SO very much for stopping by & leaving your wonderful comments it really does mean so much to me, big huge MAHOOSIVE hugs to you all.

He Loves Me......he loves me not........

Hi there all you lovely crafters, hope you are all fine & dandy. 1st of all I would like to welcome my new followers which I'm so chuffed about, thankyou so so much girls it always cheers me up when I get new followers.... so in no particular order I would like to welcome Nicole, Alison, Carina & last but certainly not least Queenlarubba from Cowgirl Up. Right now onto my ickle creation. To be honest I didn't have much time this morning but I wanted to do a card for I Love Promarkers whose challenge this week is a sketch but also you cannot use more than 3 colours eeeeekk!!! I've had a busy day trying to get this craftroom done & its getting there, hopefully painting will be fin tomorrow then up to Ikea pick some storage-gy thingy-ma-jigs up (say that 10 times fast lol) & then hopefully back in there on Friday WOOOO HOOOO!!! Crafting on a kitchen bench is not for me, I get too stressed lol, altho the family find it funny when I do!! Here is my card I quickly made this

morning....

She is called 'He Loves Me' & she is another adorable image from 'Wags'n'Whiskers. I've stuck to 3 colours, not an easy task actually this is my 4th image lol, I kept forgetting about flowers...damn it lol. The colours are green, browns(diff shades but still brown) & every girl needs a bit of pink.

Here is the card, I'm kinda hoping the silver isn't counted as a colour as they are metal so....hope its ok!!! The papers are My Minds Eye, the silver corners & butterfly are from my stash, ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons (love that place) & you see the little pink gems in the corners they are are from Crafty Emma's shop & they arrived this morn. Let me tell you tho the camera does not do them justice they are SOOO pretty, I got blue 1s as well & when Mr Postie posted them this morn I was nearly finished my card but when I saw these they HAD to go on....you will be seeing more of these.
