Quick & Simples.....

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? I cant believe its end of half term, how fast has this week gone :0( Got wait til christmas for another school hol now :0(
Anyway sorry I've not been round we had a full on family day yesterday as my eldest works half day on a friday so we treated everyone to pizza hut including Jake's girlfriend, we laughed sooooooo hard it made my pains worse but god was it worth it..........laughter is the medicine for EVERYTHING!!!
Anyway I made some quickie cards (altho not quick for me lol), nearly a week ago & thought I would pop them on, not sure what I think of them tbh but.........well will let you see lol.
This is going along the lines of flat crimbo cards & for this card I got inspired by my fabby talented blogging buddy Debby when she made these cards here........she does gorgeous simple cards & hers are soooooooooooo much better than mine!!!

For the baubles I used the fabby MB 'Snowflake Ornament' die & I drew lines up to the embossed lettering. The embossing folder is from my stash.
Paper is MME 'All Is Bright' & I ripped it & inked it with Walnut DI.

I have used a Penny Black stamp for this one & heat embossed it with copper embossing powder. I then inked the background using distress ink. The sentiment stamp didnt stamp out too well.
I used Spellbinders 'Edgeabilities - Classic Scallop' for the bottom edge, I wanted it to look like a shadow was being cast by the top scallops. The reason for this card is the Joanna Sheen challenge this time is 'Silhouettes', I'm hoping this counts.
The paper is Prima 'Tea Thyme' & I've added faux stitching around the edge. Not sure tbh what I think of this one but its a first for me, its good to try new things tho, thats the whole point of crafting aint it lol ;0)

Ingredients used...........
MME 'All is bright' paper - MCH
MB 'Snowflake ornament' - MCH
Cream Pearl Pen - MCH
Bakers twine
Poinsettia
Penny Black stamp
Prima 'Tea Thyme' papers - MCH
Glitter Ribbon - Crafts & Me
Distress Inks
Spellbinders Edgeabilities - MCH

Well thats all from me will be catching up with you all at some point today, we go over to Ben & Megans today but will try my best come visit you all.
Thank you sooooooooooo much for stopping by it means the world mmwah
Tatty bye xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
