Simply Sassy, Simply Christmas

Howdi doodie my lovelies, have you all had a good weekend? Now is it me or are these dark nights drawing in in the uk, my goodness, no sooner are we in September that you get the feeling summer really has gone..........yea ok I know we didnt have one but we had the light nights lol.
Now I havnt crafted at all over the weekend, I havn't even been on my lappy since saturday dinner ;0( but I do have a card I made last week so I thought I would show you that.
How simple is this...........for me anyway lol. I am doing a lot of my Christmas cards like this this year cus the prices Royal Mail charge for their postage now is ridiculous......

I have machine stitched all around the edges of the paper.........yea check me out lol. I have decorated inside but not as I usually do.
Now its not very often I use card blanks but when I do I make sure I use lots of card inside & out cus I dont like how flimsy they seem to feel. However this doesnt help the postage costs. So I have still attached another piece of card to strengthen it but I've also added thick paper, folded & attached that, 120gsm I think? I've used a Penny Black stamp to add a sentiment & Stampendous stamp to add 2 snowflakes. Had these over a year but I neglect them especially the Penny Black ones :0(

The gorgeous image is of course A Simply Sassy stamp & it was a free stamps that came with the final collection if you brought the full set, however it was for a ltd time.
She was of course coloured with copics & prisma pencil & I added lots of dots with my Pearl Pen. I also added Glossy Accents to her eyes.

The papers I think are Pink Paislee, had them a while & these are scraps as they were 12x12. Card blank from stash. Poinsettia I glittered up with Stardust Stickles & added a pearl & cut some
Holly Leaves which are lush. The sentiment on the front is from a Penny Black stamp set.
I've had these PB stamps for over a year but I've just seen they are on sale right now, more than half price ;0)

Ingredients...........
Simply Sassy stamp - Funky Kits
Viva Pearl pen, Stardust stickles & pearls - My Crafty Heart
Penny Black stamps & Stampendous stamp - Sir Stamp A Lot
Holly Leaves die - My Crafty Heart
MB Snowflake Corner - My Crafty Heart

I would like to thank you for all your lovely comments & emails regarding the anonymous person, tbh it didnt upset me, I pity the person who sits & judges others.........maybe you should look at your life a bit more closer, you never know it could make you happy :)

Anyhoos my lovelies thank you for stopping by I will catch up with you all. We are being lazy tonight & having chinese take away, yayyy no cooking for me lol, hubster has to pay tho ;0)

Toodles, take care mmwah xxxxxxxxxxxx
