Sweet Pea Stampers DT Card.............Button Up...

Good morning my darlings how are you all? Well we have lovely sunshine this morning lets hope it stays. Yesterday it was lovely all day but it was soooooooooo warm we had fans going everywhere, my little crafty hobbit was like a sauna...........
Anyway today its time for..........
This challenge is.....
BUTTON UP
Yep as long as it has buttons then come & play with us but please remember you must have a Sweet Pea stamp or a Crafty Purple Frog image on your creation.
For my card today I've gone for something a little different image wise as you will see.........

Told you it was different lol.........as you know I dont normally do cute with my Sweet Pea stamps its the fantasy range I love I love how different they are but Lynette sent me this free with  one of my orders cus she had an offer on a while ago. So I thought I would use it & do something different lol.

The papers is Websters Pages which I absolutely love & on the little frame thats on the paper I stamped a sentiment. The sentiment is from the Whimsy postage stamp from Bunny Zoe's what I had for my birthday off hubby..........these are fabulous I love 'em!!!

This is 'Butterfly Dragon' by Lisa Victoria & I coloured the image with Copics & added glitter to her wings. I stamped her out then cut her out with the next size down of this Fleur de Lis square nestie, matted it on blue card then cut out the largest square with cream card.....I love the look of it actually.

I stamped the wings on the image a second time coloured them & then cut them out & fixed on top using foam squares to make the wings 3D........

The buttons are also Websters Pages & they come with the twine, they are self adhesive but I have a thing about things being glued on securely so I added a drop of glue as well to them both. I added stickles to the flowers for an extra bit of bling.

    I was over on sweet pea stampers earlier this morning and I have to say they're all gorgeous creation, but this really did stand out for me. It's so gorgeous Vikky, I love every element.

    Hi Vicky, Great card, love the glittery wings and the way you have popped her in the frame again and again, know what you mean about the gluing extra, can't abide it when something falls off of a card, especially when they take so long to make. spoils the whole effect. hugs and enjoy the sun, while its out that is lol, heidi x
