Good evening my lovelies how are you all? I'm sorry I've MIA this weekend but apart from a little colouring saturday night I've had the entire weekend with the family spending quality time with each other. So I will catch up with you all I did try to do little bits when I could but not a lot. Its also my daughter's birthday today wow 19 years old I still remember the day she was born & doctors telling me I would be lucky if she lived 2 weeks as she really was that ill..............she is now 19.......She may not be able to do anything & is totally reliant on me & her dad but she is loved soooooo much!!! It just goes to show life can take a turn at any moment & we have to make the most of it while we are here.
Right onto my quickie card, now this is a digi image that I coloured in a few months ago to be honest & I've finally gotten her out of my box of coloured images & put her on a card to partake in a few challenges whose themes are much the same.
This is 'Strawberry Surf' digi image by Hannah Lynn which of course is exclusive to Crafts & Me.
Papers are Fancy Pants 'Beach Babe' which I thought were perfect for this image.
Flowers & 6x6 scalloped card are from Crafty Emma's Store as well as the DP's
She is of course coloured with Copics colours I cant remember tho as its that long ago & I didnt write them down.....sorry.
Inside is of course decorated to compliment the front.
Pink & blue card & pearls are from my stash. Flags were made using WOJ pennant die.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous image! I too colour my images in (usually against a piece of patterned paper) and keep them until I need them for a specific DT or challenge. I colour better when I have done a few. lol :)
Fabulous DP and perfect for the image.
Glad you had a great family weekend, and I'm sure Natalie had a fab time with lots of fuss and attention. :) You must be so, so proud, all of you. Love can get you through anything :)

Happy Birthday to your daughter! I knew a woman once who was told her son would never get out of bed, never talk or interact, that he'd be a "vegetable." When I met him at age 12, he was not only up and walking around, he was able to make his own bed, shower himself, and get basic food items from the kitchen to feed himself (he was blind and had cerebral palsy). You and your daughter are a blessing in each other's lives....I hope she has a wonderful birthday. And, as usual, your card is fabulous.
