Dad's The Word........

Helloooooo all my lovelies out there how are you all? I'm just popping on to show you a card I've made.....my goodness I've missed my crafting. I am on way to catch up with you all, last night there was a bum shape in the sofa cus I sat here that long trying to catch up....it takes forever but I will be there...I will soldier on......onward upwards & all that lol.
Right I'm shushing now & showing a card I've done with my new rubber off hubby last week.
This is a new release from LOTV called 'Dad's The Word' I dont have that many male stamps so when these were I saw these I loved 'em.


The keyring style thingy is Tim Holtz off my hubby & the ribbon,button & scrolly thing are from my stash.
I punched out 'Happy Birthday' using my MS punch & also punch the lattice one at the bottom but cut off the scallops to make it more erm.....manly (she says in a deep voice....now choking....)

The image was stamped onto Bristol Board & has been coloured with Prisma pencils & blended with sansador.


Last piccy my camera has missed me & just wouldnt stop clicking, I had to smack it lol. Papers are from Bearly Mine.  
Well thats it from me for now I'm off to lie down for a bit cus.....well I've pushed myself a wee bit too much today as we've been having a sort out of Natalie's bedroom......yeah hubby told me off too. So he has gone pick up Jake from his work experience & I'm having a lie down for 5.

    What a great card. I too don't have a lot of DUDE themed stamps. LOL. I really love the charm you included. I'm a big Tim Holtz fan. I want to be his friend. :-)

    Hallo Vicky, I've been way too busy for the last wee whiley as well. Where does the time go, Ro's room always takes me rather a long time, and then theres still the girls to do. ho hum my crafting will be there when I get back to it.     Hi Vicky, glad you back on the mend. Sorry for ongoing you but flaming routers been driving me mad. Got a new one so all sorted. Nawty you fr doing to much. I spear nearly 5 hrs today rearranging kitchen cupboards and have a good sort out. Looks like a showroom!!! (for now)

    Oh you're back on form darling, this is divine,
    although I have a house full of men (2 son's and me Hubby....bet you thought what a tart didn't you !!! ha ha ) I don't make many male cards I never know what to put on them to embellish ....no flowers, no sparklies and no bows !!! but you got it spot on, fantastic little embellis great detail, thanks for the inspiration

    Oh Vicky you naughty girl, you should be resting not making cards but I must admit I do love it, lol, the embellishment, colours and image are super. Don't worry too much about trying to catch up you just take care and sit yer bum back on that sofa, lol.

    Hey sweetie! So happy that you are feeling better. I have missed you. I totally understand that you didn`t want to get hospitalized. It is sooooooo boring! lol. Love your new card and stamp. My 3year old does too. She is sitting in my lap now, so it`s a bit difficult to write, lol. She said: mommy that is nice. I like it.
    We are having a day home from the daycare just enjoying ourselves. It`s so nice to get some cuddling from her as she totally is daddy`s girl, lol. But as long as he is not around i get some love, hahaha. Hope you have a nice day and don`t overdo things. Big hug from Mona

    Really cute Vicky. I do hope you are taking things careful. I am having a better day today but that could all alter within a couple of mintues. I am very up and down. Had to make a card for a customer so that's what go me moving today.
