Saturated Canary Challenge - Sweater Socks Fairy

Hello my lovelies how are you? I'm running a tad late because I forgot to schedule my post & we've been busy building a run & hutch for our new 'French Lop' rabbits for Natalie, Payton & Arjay ;0)

Anyhoo's its time for a brand new challenge over at Saturated Canary & the theme this time issssssss...
WINGED THINGS..
.........I loved this challenge as soon as I saw it as I lurve wings & I had my image all planned out until...........yep until Krista released those gorgeous 'Fairies'........well I had to use one of those!! The only problem was..........'Which one????'.........
I chose 'Sweater Socks' Fairy & the reason is is because I have a HUGE sock addiction, seriously I'm addicted to them, my socks always have to match what I'm wearing lol. I have a huge addiction not just for me either....no, no, no......for all of us!! My youngest only wears black 'Simpson' socks.........he has over 30 pairs lol. You dont want to know how many Natalie has...........although plain socks just bore the pants off me :0(

Anyhoo's now you know how weird I am............ I will tell you what I've used on this card ;0)
I made sure there was an abundance of wings on this creation lol.

Joy Crafts gorgeous 'Butterfly Border' die covered in Shabby White & 'Aged Wine' Fran-Tage.
All the gorgeous flowers are all a selection of Prima.

The gorgeous Fairy I coloured with Copics & added glitter dust to her wings. I also dotted the background & added fran-tage around the edge.
Colours used are..............
E11, E21, E00, E000
E29, E27, E23, E21
V99, V95, V93, V91, V000
C3, C1, C00
BACKGROUND
E55, E53, E51, V95, V91 & Blender pen

The gorgeous papers are Prima which I got from My Crafty Heart & I inked the edges with walnut & machine stitched them. I added 2 different layers of lace, both from my stash. Fence is Magnolia & the small clock is a Marianne die. Feather butterfly from my stash. I've also added gorgeous 'Say it in crystals - Roses' by Prima in the 2 corners. The small butterflies I made using a small punch.

We hope you will play along with us in our 'Winged Things' challenge & if you need that instant Saturated Canary fix then head over to here............where you will also find the gorgeous new fairies & other winged beauties ;0)

Thank you sooooooo much for stopping by & leaving the lovely comments, they always cheer me up ;0)

Wish upon a star birthday girl

Hello lovelies how are you all? I meant to post this this morning but have been trying to get a French Lop rabbit for Natalie & my granchildren.

Anyway this is a card I have made for Payton's 2nd birthday. Yes I know its not until just after the new year  but I recently brought some LOTV stamps & I saw this stamp (which I still didn't have) & brought it purposely for my granddaughter.

This image looks like a little ballerina girl dancing with a wand to me. Payton adores music & dancing, as soon as she hears music she starts to dance & she especially loves clubbing music...........she's soooooo like her nanna wooo hoooooo ;0)

I've used La La Land's 'Heart Banner' & added letters to each banner to spell 'LOVE'. I also added a 'Clay Heart' which I gave the Fran-Tage treatment with Shabby Pink.

I used the fabulous Joy Crafts 'Butterfly Border' & fran-Taged it with shabby pink.

I used some pink tulle from my stash & made a gathered trim for behind the image. Also made a double bow with pink seam binding & added the gorgeous MF 'Glass Rose Button', these are so so pretty!!

The stamp is called 'Wish Upon A Star' & I coloured her with Distress Markers. I have to say I really enjoyed colouring this & is probably gonna be my fave LOTV stamp :0)
Also added 'Stardust' stickles.

The papers I've used are the utterly gorgeous Maja Design Sofiero. This one is 'Royal Summer Residence' & I inked the edges with walnut & machine stitched them. I added 'Cluny Fan Lace', some Melissa Frances Pearls & a MF 'Resin Corner'. Doily under the image is from my stash.

Well I'm well prepared on one of Payton's birthday cards lol. I couldn't resist colouring this little lady up ready for our wee princess.

Thank you sooooooo much for stopping by I'm slowing catching up with you all, will be round later.

Holy Light

Hello everyone how are you? Well I'm finally here with that Christmas card I was gonna post........I cant even remember when I said now lol. Anyway I've finally remembered to post it & its using one of my new stamps that I got the other week.

This is 'Holy Light' from the latest release at LOTV. These are all sooooooooo yummy!!!
Isn't she so darn cute!!! Of course as its a Christmas Card I had to give it lashings of Snow-Tex & Stickles ;0)

I added Tim Holtz On The Edge 'Snowflake' die thingy at the top. Covered the snowflakes in Snow-Tex then added 'Stardust' Stickles here & there.

I coloured her in Tim Holtz distress markers, I lurve seeing LOTV in distress inks, I enjoyed colouring her.
I also added stickles to her wings, her head-dress & the flame on the candle. I added Snow-Tex all around the edges as well.

The trees are from my Marianne die &.....yep they got snow covered too & I also added a couple of
MF 'Pearls' to the bottom of each. The ribbon & lace are from my stash.

I used Marianne 'Holly Leaves' die & inked it up with Anitique Linen to match with her dress ;0) The flower is Prima & I added some sparkle to it. The corner die is a Joy Crafts die.

The papers I've had for ages & I think they are Pink Paislee. I've edged them all with Walnut distress ink & machine stitched all around them. The sentiments I cant remember where they are from, the Holiday Greeting I stamped in Brown Memento then aged the card with Pumice Stone, distressed it & layered it over some corrugated card painted with gesso.

Well I think thats it from me I saw that LOTV have a Christmas Challenge on so gonna pop it over there ;0)

Also to let you know that the uber talented Krista has released 4 new 'Fairies' in her shop here, they are so yummy. Here is one of them below...........
Sweater Socks Fairy
'Sweater Socks' Fairy, lurve this one...........but I have a HUGE addiction to socks, seriously sad I am lol but I dont care............its the simple things in life that give me pleasure lol.

Okie doke I'm away now, I'm gonna make Lime & Coconut cake today.......if you hear screaming dont worry its Ben arguing with his dad of who should have the most...........yep even though I always make 2 lol.

Crafts & Me DT Card - Hannah Lynn

Good morning from me at sunny-by-the-sea....... How are we all today? Well I meant to post this card yesterday but went down Ben & Megans while hubster fixed their tumble drier, so comepletely forgot :0(

So better late than never. Now this is another image I found in my coloured box, although she was only half coloured lol..........so I finished off the wood & the rocks at the bottom & voila, here she is.....

This is a digi image from the Hannah Lynn collection over at Crafts & Me, isn't she gorgeous!!!
Have you noticed anything on my card that I normally dont add???
Yes stitching..........my hubster fitted yet another socket to my craft room so I can have my sewing machine set up permanently, she was getting really neglected. He's added the socket underneath the worktop & drilled an hole for my wires go through, it keeps it all neater on top for me.
So I've machine stitched all my papers ;0)

All flowers are from WOC & I also added some rolled ones I made with my Marianne die. The ribbon is from my stash & the lace is from LLC

The banner is a La La Land 'Heart Banner' & I've inked it lightly with milled lavender, although its hard to see.
I've added a 'Metal Corner' & give it fran-tage treatment with shabby white. I've also added one of these gorgeous clay hearts. The sentiment tags are Little Darlings 'Tag Alongs' & the brad I think is MME.

This lady is called 'Analinda' & she is coloured with copics. I did not write the colours down & she has been coloured up for months.
The wood however I used.......
E29, E27, E23, E21
The rocks I used warm greys & added some green to give a mossy look.

The gorgeous paper is Pion 'purple Wallpaper' 6x6, although the middle sheet on the front is from the 12x12 full sheet, this is from Alma's Sewing Room collection. All paper has been inked with 'Pumice Stone' distress ink. I also added some corrugated card painted with Gesso & I also added gesso here & there ;0)
The dies next to the image is a Joy Crafts die which I cut in half.

Well thats it from me but why not pop on over to Crafts & Me where Teresa has a massive clearance sale on while she is having her store re-designed........50% off, go on grab a bargain or 3 ;0)

Thank you so much for stopping by will be back tomorrow with a christmassy card ;0)
Enjoy your Sunday.

Did not turn out quite as I had hoped but I will be making more as I enjoed making it. The tutorial you can get here & the instructions are really easy to follow ;0) If I can do it anyone can lol.

The papers are from 2 pads of Bo Bunny. The blue one is from 'Welcome Home'. I made little scrolls with scraps from the paper I used behind the image. That is from an older Bo Bunny pad

Flowers are from WOC.

Decorated inside with a complimentary paper as always.
The image is 'Princess Reading Beauty' from Saturated Canary, she is available as digi & as a rubber stamp. I have coloured this image with Copics, however I dont have the colours as I coloured this image a couple of months ago & found her in my coloured up box of images.

I fussy cut the image out & placed her on a clock die. I made a scroll for the top with some spools from LLC & the sentiment is from a sheet of Pion papers.

Krista has released some fabby new digi images to her store here.

Midweek Magnolia's Challenge - Fancy Folds

Hello everyone how are you all? We have a beautiful sunny day here by the sea today so hubster is cutting the lawn & doing some de-weeding in the front garden before we end up with a jungle........mmm I reckon he would make a good Tarzan ;0)

Anyhoo's back to reality lol we have of course a new challenge this week over at
  Midweek Magnolia's & it is...........drum rollllllllll
FANCY FOLDS
.......yep thats right we wanna see fancy folds, whether it be an easel card or envelope card or......you get the picture dont you lol.
I took the easy option & went for an easel card, although in all honesty I did this card last week but didnt put the foofiness on & it wasn't meant for this challenge but I ran out of time so..............here it is lol.

I brought this little sweetie as soon as they were released.......yes its took me til now to ink her up. I was in my hobbit last night & found a stamp from the collection before that was still un-opened......I need putting on a ban or something..........no more goodies!!! Lets pretend that wasn't wrote ok ;0)

All of the yummy gorgeous flowers are of course from WOC. The 'Swirl' is my favourite Magnolia Doo-Hickey die.
Excuse this piccy...... The dies I've used are Go-Kreate XXL 'Scalloped Circles' & XXL 'Circles'.

The stamp is 'Cute Little Tilda' & my I think she's one of the cutest little maggies. I have coloured her with my Distress Markers as I wanted a soft look to her, this little girl cries out for soft & delicate. I have also added Shabby pink & white Fran-Tage.
The gorgeous papers are the new MME 'Lost & Found-Madison Avenue' these are sooooooo yummy they really are!! The sentiment is from my wood stamp stash & the tags are Magnolia 'Dream Tag' . The pearls are from my stash. The cute little 'Baby Clothes' die is by Memory Box from My Crafty Heart.
Ribbon, lace & doilies are from my little craft room ;0)

Well thats all from me folks but please pop on over here to see my teamies wonderful creations.....seriously peeps they are all truly gorgeous!!!!!!

Thank you sooooooooo much for popping in I will be round laters, right I'm off to get some cleaning done.

Feeling blue...........

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Hope you have better weather than we do, its absolutely pouring it down :0( Still the plants & lawns need a good watering ;0)

I'm here with a card that I did, I think nearly 2 weeks ago but completely forgot to blog it........dont know where my mind is these days lol. I'm not really feeling blue but my card is full of the blues ;0)
I finally inked this little lady up when I got my new markers..........
I've used 'Blue Cross Tilda' I love anything to do with crosses & angels so this was my first Magnolia stamp in the basket when this collection was released lol.

The ribbon is East Of India ribbon from my stash & I'm not sure where the coin charm is from, I cant remember. Lace is also from my stash.

I love all products by Melissa Frances including her Vellum Envelopes & Tags. However I decided to make my own Vellum Envelope & use up the abundance of vellum I have lol. I made the envelope, I scalloped the top edges I also added Shabby Blue Fran-Tage & embossed it with a butterfly folder. Then added a Magnolia tag. Quite pleased for my first attempt ;0)

The 3 blue flowers are from WOC & the rolled flowers I used a Marianne die & popped Blue Pearls inside. I've also added Gesso to the flowers.

This Tilda is of course from the Special Moments 2013 collection & I coloured her with Tim Holtz distress markers. Cannot remember the colours as this was coloured when I first had my markers so this was a practice one lol.
The frame is Spellbinder 'Floral Oval' & I added 'Shabby Blue' Fran-Tage & also inked the edges with walnut distress ink.

As always inside is decorated. The gorgeous papers I've used is my favourite of all paper makes....
Maja Design - 'Vintage Spring' - these are from my 6x6 pad. I distressed them a wee bit & inked the edges with walnut distress ink. I also added the beautiful new Joy Crafts 'Butterfly Border' I lurve butterflies so have to get new butterfly dies & this one is a beauty!! This too also got the fran-tage treatment ;0)

Ooooh have you seen the new Magnolia Sea Breeze release Maggie fans? Mine came through my letter box on friday........oooh as soon as I saw Sir Stamp A Lot on the envelope I was beaming.....well once I had chased hubster round the kitchen table to get it off him lol.

I also got new stamps yesterday from a different company so its not just new magnolia images you will be seeing for those of you that are not Magnolia fans ;0)

Well I'm off to do some hopping before my grandaughter arrives so will see as many as I can soon & the rest laters. Thank you soooooo much for your lovely comments especially on my Prima doll tag in the post below, it really means a lot.

Oh before I forget I've had a few emails asking me if I'm selling my copics, I am NOT selling them or giving up on them, I want to be able to colour with all different mediums my next one will be to master Prisma pencils. I love the vibrancy of copics however sometimes I want a soft delicate look & nothing does that like distress inks/markers.

Lotsa squishy hugs Vicky xxxxxxxxxx
