Sweet Pea is Flowing In Pink

Good morning all my lovely friends out there.
Can I 1st send out my thoughts & prayers to this terrible disaster in Japan & surrounding area's me & hubby looked at the video's on the internet & I wanted to cry for them...it really is awful & unimaginable!! My heart goes out to each & every one of them. It will be a long time before I complain of anything put it that way my pains are nothing compared to what they are going thru.
Well we have a miserable day here really yukky & grey. My eldest Ben went for a drive last night with his girlfriend Megan & my youngest son Jake & he sent photos thru the blackberry doodly-ma-bob & I think he was about 25 miles away & there was snow.....SNOW.. in blooming spring!!!!!
Anyway I got to play last night I sat & coloured an image in the living room & then went into my hobbit to craft...... I have a desk now in the conservatory so I do all my colouring inside but I'm in the process of re-arranging all my copics & promarkers into 1 big case so I can carry it around & colour where I want.
Right I'm gonna get on & show you what I made its a picture for Natalie's bedroom once its all done which explains the colours.....I used another un-inked Sweet Pea stamp & its become yet another fave I sooooo enjoyed colouring her she is sooooo pretty.
Here is 'Flowing In Blue'
WARNING PHOTO HEAVY

Yes ok so for my princess she flows in pink & black. Its a 8x8 picture frame that I brought about a month before crimbo I think.

The brackets are from my Tim Holtz Sign thingy & I just cut the brackets out & snipped off the hole things for where you would hang the sign. The frame I ditressed in some area's.

The butterfly is a new die that I cant remember the name of will pop into hobbit later to have a peek lol.
I cut the bottom one out of pink card & then the edges inked slightly with weathered wood & the top out of white then sprayed with CC spray & shine & sprinkled lashings of glitter over the top.

She has been coloured with Copics & pink Liquid Pearls added to the butterfly & the oval thingy's. I've also used a white gel pen to create dotty streaks in her hair & on the butterfly. Its very rare I use my white gel pen but its fab for this effect.
Colours used...... E000 E00 E01 E13 R20
W0 W2 W3 W5 W7
RV29 RV34 RV10

This is to show you it standing up, it does come with a stand that you can attach but I'm not sure yet if its going on the wall or on her shelf or dresser so I'm leaving it off til decision is made lol.

Final piccy.... Below is the list of ingredients used with links of course so you know where to get them.
8X8 Frame is from Quixotic Paperie
Pink paper is Magnolia Angel Dots from Sir Stamp A Lot
Frame behind image is a Marianne die from stash.
Large centre flower is 45mm Rose from Wild Orchid Crafts
The small black roses are from Crafty Emma's Store
The white flowers are from my stash & the pink & white buds I cant remember to be honest lol.
The beautiful Sweet Pea by Ching-Chou Kuik stamp you can get from Crafts & Me based in the uk
& you can also get it from Sweet Pea Stamps themselves. Both of these stores deliver worldwide...
Warning you will be drawn to lots of other gorgeous stamps in both of their stores lol.
Well thats it from me I have a joint of pork to cook for tea....mmmm.
Off to looksie see if there are any challenges while I'm here.
Thanks soooo much for your fabby comments on yesterdays card I find male cards hard at times unless I use KK that is lol but the one yesterday I'm quite proud of soo thank you everyone for your lovely kind words.
Thank you for stopping by my lovelies you are all fabulous & I loves ya all mmwah.
See you soon I'm coming blog hopping.
Challenges I'm Entering.....

Tatty bye & lotsa huggles xoxoxoxoxo

What a fantastic picture Vicky! wow! :)

Love all the black its so striking and the flowers are simply divine.

Enjoyed reading your post. We have snow here too - lots of it! Amazing.

Nature is a powerful thing, of which we have no control, and I totally agree - we dont know we are born sometimes, and nothing compares to the scenes we witnessed on Friday, no gripes or moans we can have can compare with the utter devastation wrought upon Japan in the last 2 days.

Have a great sunday hun, take care.

hugs
